طيران الإمارات تحتفل بأنجح موسم شتاء في مناولة الأمتعة

 

دبي، 2 فبراير (شباط) 2024: شهدت طيران الإمارات مؤخراً أكثر مواسم الشتاء نشاطاً في مناولة الأمتعة خلال السنوات الثلاث الماضية، حيث أظهرت إحصائيات الموسم خلال المدة من سبتمبر (أيلول) 2023 وحتى يناير (كانون الثاني) 2024، أن طيران الإمارات قد حافظت على معدل نجاح بنسبة 99.9% فيما ناولت في المتوسط أكثر من 2.7 مليون حقيبة شهرياً، من دبي إلى 140 وجهة عالمية.   وتتمتع طيران الإمارات بسجل متميز وبنسبة 99.9% في مجال مناولة الأمتعة من دبي أو العابرة من خلالها وتسليمها إلى أصحابها في الوقت المحدد وإلى الوجهة الصحيحة. وتمر أمتعة المسافرين في رحلات طيران الإمارات بمسار خاص متعدد، بدءاً من عربات حمل الحقائب ثم كاونترات إنهاء إجراءات السفر وحزام الأمتعة، وصولاً إلى الغرفة الرئيسية حيث يتم فحص الأمتعة وفق أعلى التقنيات الأمنية، ومن ثمّ يجري تحمليها في حاويات "دناتا" ونقلها إلى طائرات الإمارات المغادرة إلى مختلف محطاتها عبر العالم، حيث يستقبلها عمال مناولة الأمتعة في وجهة جديدة.   وقد تتسبب مجموعة من السيناريوهات المختلفة في بعض الحالات النادرة في تأخر الأمتعة. وفي بعض الأحيان، قد تتمزق عن طريق الخطأ بطاقات الأمتعة التي تتضمن المعلومات الأساسية، أو يمكن أن تسقط الحقيبة من حزام الأمتعة أثناء دورانها بوتيرة سريعة، وهو ما يتم التقاطه عبر الكاميرات ويمكن تصحيحه على الفور. وقد تتعرض رحلة الربط إلى التأخير الخارج عن الإرادة، سواء بسبب الظروف الجوية أو وجود راكب مريض، ما يجعل عملية تنزيل الأمتعة وإعادة تحميلها على رحلة المتابعة في الوقت المناسب أمراً صعباً. وفي هذه الحالة، تُحمّل حقيبة الراكب على الفور على الرحلة التالية، حيث يتم ذلك تلقائياً من خلال مجموعة من الأنظمة المتطورة، مثل نظام مناولة الأمتعة من مطار دبي، ونظام تسوية الأمتعة من دناتا، ونظام "إيميريتس باغ كونيكت Emirates Bag Connect"، أحد منتجات طيران الإمارات الذي يوفر رؤية شاملة لرحلة الأمتعة مع تتبع حالتها في الوقت الفعلي، والمتوفر عبر تطبيق طيران الإمارات وموقعها الشبكي.   وبشكل عام، فإن معدل فقدان الأمتعة في طيران الإمارات، التي تُعرّف بالأمتعة المتأخرة أو المفقودة، يبقى في الحد الأدنى بنسبة 1.3 حقيبة من كل 1000 حقيبة في مركز دبي، وهو أقل بنحو 30 مرة من بعض مقدمي الخدمة الآخرين. ويجري إرجاع نحو 91% من الحقائب المتأخرة حتى عالمياً، إلى أصحابها في غضون 72 ساعة، حيث يعتبر هذا المعدل كبيراً أيضاً عالمياً حيث تتعامل طيران الإمارات بشكل رئيسي مع الأمتعة الدولية وأمتعة النقل الدولية، لذا غالباً ما يتم نقل الأمتعة في رحلات طويلة ومعقدة تتطلب مستوى أعلى من الاهتمام مقارنة بالسفر الداخلي.   وتعزو طيران الإمارات أفضل خدماتها في مناولة الأمتعة إلى إجراءاتها القوية وعالية التقنية، التي تتضمن استثمارات بملايين الدولارات في البرمجيات التي صممتها لتناسب احتياجات محددة، ما يوفر رؤية شاملة للرحلات بأكملها. ويضمن التزام طيران الإمارات بالابتكار والتميز، التحسين المستمر لجميع الأنظمة والعمليات على مدى العقدين الماضيين من قبل فريق عالمي المستوى. وتخضع فرق طيران الإمارات في دبي وفي جميع أنحاء العالم بانتظام لتدريبات مكثفة وفقاً لأعلى المعايير، فيما يشارك العاملون في المناولة الأرضية وغيرهم من موظفي العمليات في تدريبات افتراضية وحية على الأنظمة والعمليات والمعايير وأفضل الممارسات، بالإضافة إلى التعريف بالمنتجات والخدمات الجديدة. وباعتبارها أكبر ناقلة دولية في العالم، حيث تخدم 140 وجهة انطلاقاً من مطار دبي الدولي، الذي يعد واحداً من أكثر المطارات ازدحاماً في العالم، فإن التعاون السلس بين طيران الإمارات ودناتا، وتقنيات سيمنز ومطارات دبي، يضمن لعملاء الناقلة وأمتعتهم السفر بـ"تميز دائم".

Siemens Healthineers Academy Egypt was founded in August 2018 with the objective to provide educational programs and academic courses to healthcare professionals and university students. September 11, 2023 – Businesses across Europe are on the hunt for cloud talent that combines both financial and technical expertise, with 85 per cent actively looking to recruit FinOps skills to deliver greater value from their cloud investments. Yet these skills are proving difficult to obtain.

 

According to new research by VMware of senior business leaders in the UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy and the Netherlands, 90 per cent say that a combination of cost optimisation skills alongside technical knowledge is now instrumental in driving cloud innovation and providing cloud value. This trend is influencing how organisations are hiring cloud experts, as time to value becomes an economic imperative. As many as 88 per cent now agree that IT departments must recruit beyond traditional cloud skills, like DevOps, to include FinOps skills, such as accounting, analytics and economics. The purpose is to better quantify the business case for cloud and accelerate its value across the organisation.

 

The Middle East is showing a similar trend, with strong demand for cloud services and multi-cloud adoption giving rise to a heightened awareness among organisational leaders of the need to optimise cloud costs, according to Ihab Farhoud, VMware’s senior director, solution engineering, Middle East, Turkey and North Africa. “In the Middle East we see a clear pattern of organisations looking at business aspects such as cloud capacity planning, cost optimisation, cloud governance, and to do this, they need people with FinOps skills. The trend certainly mirrors the research numbers from Europe, which indicates it’s part of a broader EMEA, and possibly global, trend.”

 

But despite these hiring intentions, businesses in Europe are not where they need to be. VMware’s research shows that 64 per cent can’t recruit the skills to control costs and accelerate innovation, and 71 per cent say that an inability to get senior stakeholders to buy into the cloud process is hindering innovation.

Farhoud notes a similar pattern in the Middle East, where organisations are also struggling to find people with the right FinOps skills. “Getting the right skills is very important, yet there is a cloud skills shortage specifically when it comes to FinOps. There are a lot of people who understand the cloud in terms of platforms, infrastructure, architecture, and DevOps, but FinOps is a role that has been overlooked and there is a shortage of professionals with these skills.”

Overcoming these hurdles is even more important given a live analysis of cloud job listings across the same six European geographies, conducted by VMware, found that candidate interest in FinOps is soaring. In the UK, France and Netherlands online searches for FinOps-based roles have soared 665 per cent, 296 per cent and 1200 per cent respectively in the last three years. End-user organisations, such as those in manufacturing, financial services and retail, must capitalise upon this interest. Currently, over half of live job postings across these geographies now list FinOps as a skill requirement.

 

 

Now more than ever, the economic crunch means that businesses must show greater financial and operational value in the shortest time from their cloud investments, which are set to top $142bn in Europe this year according to IDC¹.

 

Commenting on the research, Martin Hosken, Chief Technologist for Cloud EMEA, VMware, said: “Cloud has become the cornerstone for most organisations in how they deliver valuable digital services to customers and employees and optimise their organisations – but the conversation is moving on, efficiency and value for money are key for C-Suites in 2023.

 

“Day one costs are understood, but what companies now want to know is where and when they will see the benefits of cloud across their organisation - speed and scale were top considerations in the last ‘cloud first’ decade, but this decade is going to be about adding control with cloud economics, efficiency and sustainability. Value for money will be the key attribute for selecting a cloud partner in 2023 and beyond.

 

“It therefore makes sense that skills beyond core cloud competencies are being sought after as IT teams need demonstrate value to their business stakeholders. Having capabilities in analytics, accounting, economics or performance management helps IT to move cloud up the board agenda and present its business case, ultimately accelerating its value and returns.”

 

VMware’s research finds that top of the cloud recruitment skills list is the ability to develop and implement strategies to optimise cloud spend, according to 60 per cent of respondents. While nearly one in five say the most sought-after skill is now the ability to produce reports and analysis for a C-suite audience, with 18 percent also indicating it’s the ability to bring a holistic business understanding to cloud processes.

 

Gavin Jolliffe, CEO of cloud consulting and managed services provider Xtravirt comments: "We recognise that there is an acute skills shortage in cloud, but as these results show, those who are working in this area need a capability to translate cloud services into cloud value. A similar example across our business is that each specialist must demonstrate customer experience-related skills to effectively communicate success and value to our customers. We want our teams to be able to walk in the shoes of our customers as much as possible.”

دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة، 11 سبتمبر 2023 – تبحث المؤسسات اليوم عن أصحاب المواهب السحابية الذين يجمعون بين الخبرة المالية والتقنية. وتسعى 85% من المؤسسات بنشاط إلى توظيف أصحاب مهارات العمليات المالية للحصول على قيمة أكبر من استثماراتها السحابية، وذلك في توجّه يجد انعكاسًا واضحًا لصورته في منطقة الشرق الأوسط، بحسب تنفيذيين كبار في المنطقة.

 

وقال 90% من قادة الأعمال الكبار إن الجمع بين مهارات تحسين التكاليف والمعرفة التقنية أصبح فعالًا في دفع عجلات الابتكار السحابي وتحقيق القيمة المنشودة من البيئات السحابية، وفقًا لدراسة استطلاعية جديدة أجرتها شركة "في إم وير" في أوساط كبار قادة الأعمال. ويؤثر هذا التوجه في سبل توظيف المؤسسات لخبراء السحابة، سيما وأن الوقت اللازم لتحقيق القيمة يصبح ضرورة اقتصادية. ويتفق 88% من المستطلعة آراؤهم على أن أقسام تقنية المعلومات يجب أن تحرص على توظيف خبراء يتمتعون بمهارات تتجاوز المهارات السحابية التقليدية، مثل مهارات العمليات المالية، أو ما يُعرف اختصارًا بـ DevOps، كالمحاسبة والتحليلات والاقتصاديات، وذلك بغرض تحسين القدرة على تحديد حالة الأعمال الخاصة بالسحابة وتسريع تحقيق القيمة منها على امتداد المؤسسة.

 

وبهذه المناسبة، أكّد إيهاب فرهود، مدير إدارة أول لهندسة الحلول في الشرق الأوسط وتركيا وشمال إفريقيا لدى "في إم وير"، أن منطقة الشرق الأوسط تُظهر توجهًا مماثلًا، موضحًا أن الطلب الكبير على الخدمات السحابية واعتماد البيئات السحابية المتعدّدة أدّى إلى زيادة وعي قادة المؤسسات بالحاجة إلى تحسين تكاليف السحابة. وقال: "نرى في الشرق الأوسط نمطًا واضحًا للمؤسسات التي تنظر إلى تحسين جوانب الأعمال، مثل تخطيط القدرات السحابية والتكاليف والحوكمة السحابية، وللقيام بذلك، تحتاج إلى أشخاص يتمتعون بمهارات العمليات المالية. ويعكس هذا التوجه في المنطقة أرقام الأبحاث الواردة من أوروبا، ما يشير إلى كونه جزءًا من توجّه أوسع في منطقة أوروبا والشرق الأوسط وإفريقيا، وربما عالميًا".

 

وما زالت المؤسسات متأخرة في هذا الجانب، بالرغم من كشف المسؤولين فيها عن اعتزامهم توظيف خبراء في العمليات المالية. وتُظهر أبحاث "في إم وير" أن 64% من المؤسسات لا تستطيع توظيف المهارات اللازمة للتحكّم في التكاليف وتسريع الابتكار، في حين قال 71% من المشاركين في الاستطلاع إن عدم القدرة على إقناع كبار أصحاب المصلحة بالمشاركة في العملية السحابية يُعيق الابتكار.

 

وأشار فرهود إلى وجود نمط مماثل في الشرق الأوسط، حيث تكافح المؤسسات هناك أيضًا للعثور على أشخاص يتمتعون بمهارات العمليات المالية المناسبة، وأضاف: "من المهمّ الحصول على المهارات المناسبة، ولكن هناك نقصًا في المهارات السحابية على وجه التحديد في العمليات المالية، فمع أن الكثير من الأفراد يفهمون السحابة من نواحي المنصات والبنية التحتية والهندسة المعمارية والعمليات التطويرية، نجد أن العمليات المالية تشكّل جانبًا جرى التغاضي عنه حتى أصبح هناك نقص في المهنيين الذين يتمتعون بمهارات هذا النوع من العمليات".

 

ويُظهر التحليل المباشر لقوائم الوظائف السحابية الذي أجرته "في إم وير" على امتداد المناطق الجغرافية الأوروبية الستّ، أن التغلّب على هذه العقبات مسألة مهمة. ووجد التحليل أن اهتمام المرشحين بالعمليات المالية آخذ في الارتفاع. وينبغي للمؤسسات، مثل تلك العاملة في مجالات التصنيع والخدمات المالية وتجارة التجزئة، الاستفادة من هذا الاهتمام. وتُدرج المؤسسات حاليًا العمليات المهارية باعتبارها متطلبات مهارية في أكثر من نصف إعلانات التوظيف المباشرة في تلك المناطق الجغرافية.

 

وينبغي للمؤسسات، في ظلّ الأزمة الاقتصادية، أن تحرص على استخلاص قيمة مالية وتشغيلية أكبر من استثماراتها السحابية في أقصر وقت ممكن.
