Press Release:
Silent luxury in the mountains, not for everyone, only for the few
Fujairah, UAE – 24 November 2025 – Parvara, the secluded sanctuary set high in the Jabal Al Hamri mountains of Fujairah, will officially open tomorrow, 25 November 2025, unveiling an experience that sets a new standard for the art of retreat. Neither a hotel nor a camp, Parvara is a sanctuary where silence, presence, and ritual replace distraction, and where true luxury reveals itself in stillness. Guests are welcomed into elegant private pavilions, each designed as a refuge of serenity and comfort.
States of Being
Every stay at Parvara is conceived as a journey into a different state of being. The Quiet Stay is a retreat into stillness, a few days shaped by space, rhythm, and the silence between gestures. Active Renewal balances exertion and ease, blending sunrise treks and yoga with calm evenings by firelight. Families can discover together through the Family Journey, where curiosity and play sit alongside calm rituals, from mountain walks to stargazing. For those travelling inward, the Solo Journey offers reflection and renewal, where meditation, silence, and nature create a sanctuary of one’s own.
Some journeys go further. The Digital Detox is an intentional release from devices, where time is marked by hand-written notes, firelit dinners, and the rhythm of breath rather than screens. Echoes of the Emirates immerses guests in Emirati heritage through rituals, crafts, and UNESCO landscapes, connecting them to the culture that endures in silence.
Central to Parvara’s philosophy is the belief that guests should be freed from the burden of decision-making. Each itinerary is predetermined with care, removing choice as a source of pressure and allowing guests to surrender fully to the flow of the sanctuary. At the same time, every pavilion is supported by a dedicated team led by a pavilion butler, ensuring service remains invisible yet perfectly timed. Guests are guided, never interrupted, moving through their days as if time itself had softened, each transition seamless and unforced.
Dining as Ritual
Dining at Parvara is never a pause between experiences; it is an experience in itself. Each meal is elemental, shaped by fire, wood, and stone, with ingredients prepared fresh, through deliberate methods that honour time. Silence becomes part of the flavour: the crackle of wood, the fragrance of smoke, the whisper of wind through the mountains.
Evenings unfold as ritual. The Tree of Life Dinner takes place deep within the wadi, a firelit gathering where shadows and silence become part of the feast. The Celestial Dinner is served beneath an unbroken sky, where courses arrive in rhythm with starlight and the hush of desert night. Morning begins with incense and coffee carried at dawn, while departures close with farewell tea, a final gesture of gratitude.
Every dining moment is guided, not presented. Butlers, chefs, and artisans move invisibly to prepare each setting, a pavilion, a fire, a ridge, so that meals emerge as if summoned by the mountain itself. Through hand-written notes, incense at dusk, and the quiet rhythm of service, Parvara defines what it means to experience silent luxury
