Collaboration to Deliver Integrated Solutions Combining Cooling, Power and IT Infrastructure for AI Data Centers 

DUBAI, November 6, 2025 — LG Electronics (LG) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Flex, a global manufacturing leader and innovator in data center infrastructure solutions. Under the agreement, LG and Flex will collaborate on the joint development integrated, modular cooling solutions that address the escalating thermal management challenges of AI-era data centers. 

Advanced cooling technologies are required for more efficient heat dissipation in high-density data centers. The partnership brings together LG’s high-performance air and liquid cooling modules, including CRAC, CRAH, chillers, coolant distribution units (CDUs) and full suite of thermal management and monitoring solutions with Flex’s liquid cooling portfolio, proprietary power products and IT infrastructure solutions. This gives data center operators the agility to customize solutions and scale with demand. 

LG is actively exploring diverse opportunities to expand its data center business worldwide. In Jakarta, Indonesia, the company recently secured an AI data center project that is set to become one of the largest of its kind in the country. LG is also collaborating with DATAVOLT, a global data center infrastructure provider, on projects in the Middle East and Africa, and has been awarded a contract to supply cooling solutions for a hyperscale data center under construction in North America. 

In addition, LG has partnered with LG Uplus, a telecommunications provider under LG Corp., to successfully complete a proof-of-concept demonstrating advanced liquid cooling technology for data center thermal management solutions. The company is also developing next-generation CDUs and cold plate solutions scheduled for completion later this year, with commercialization to follow. 

Building on its debut at Data Center World (DCW) held in Washington D.C. earlier this year, LG recently showcased its latest cooling technologies at DCW Asia 2025 in Singapore, further accelerating its efforts to expand its presence in the global market.

Co-developed solutions will be available as part of the Flex AI infrastructure platform, the first globally manufactured data center platform integrating power, cooling, compute and services into modular designs. Flex provides advanced manufacturing capabilities, innovative power and cooling products and end-to-end lifecycle services that solve for data center power, heat and scale challenges in the AI era.

أعلنت شركة "إل جي إلكترونيكس" اليوم عن توقيع مذكرة تفاهم مع شركة "فليكس" (Flex)، الرائدة عالمياً بمجال التصنيع وابتكار حلول البنية التحتية لمراكز البيانات؛ حيث يتعاون الطرفان بموجب الاتفاقية، لتطوير حلول تبريد معيارية ومتكاملة لمعالجة التحديات الحرارية المتزايدة التي تواجه مراكز بيانات عصر الذكاء الاصطناعي.

وتتطلب مراكز البيانات عالية الكثافة تقنيات تبريد متطورة لضمان كفاءة أعلى في تبديد الحرارة. وتساهم هذه الشراكة في الجمع بين وحدات التبريد الهوائية والسائلة فائقة الأداء من "إل جي" — بما في ذلك وحدات تكييف غرف الخوادم (CRAC)، ووحدات تبريد بالماء المبرد لغرف الخوادم (CRAH)، ووحدات التبريد المركزي (Chillers) ووحدات توزيع المبرد (CDUs) — إلى جانب حلول متكاملة لإدارة الحرارة والمراقبة، مع مجموعة منتجات "فليكس" للتبريد السائل ومنتجات الطاقة المبتكرة والبنية التحتية لتقنية المعلومات. ويمنح هذا التعاون مشغّلي مراكز البيانات المرونة اللازمة لتخصيص الحلول وتوسيع نطاقها بما يتناسب مع الطلب المتزايد.

وتسعى "إل جي" بشكل حثيث إلى توسيع أعمالها في مجال مراكز البيانات على مستوى العالم، حيث فازت مؤخراً بمشروع لإنشاء مركز بيانات يعمل بالذكاء الاصطناعي في جاكرتا، إندونيسيا، والذي يُعد من أكبر المشاريع من نوعه في البلاد. كما تتعاون الشركة مع "داتاڤولت" (DATAVOLT)، المزود العالمي للبنية التحتية لمراكز البيانات، في مشاريع بمنطقة الشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا، بالإضافة إلى فوزها بعقد لتوريد حلول التبريد لمركز بيانات ضخم قيد الإنشاء في أمريكا الشمالية.

كما عقدت "إل جي" شراكة مع شركة "إل جي يو بلس" (LG Uplus)، التابعة للمجموعة، لتطوير وتنفيذ نموذج أولي ناجح يبرهن على فعالية تقنيات التبريد السائل المتقدمة في إدارة الحرارة داخل مراكز البيانات. وتعمل الشركة حالياً على تطوير الجيل التالي من وحدات توزيع المبرد (CDUs) وأنظمة Cold Plate، والمتوقع استكمالها خلال العام الجاري تمهيداً لتسويقها تجارياً في مرحلة لاحقة.

وعقب مشاركتها الأولى في معرض Data Center World (DCW) في واشنطن العاصمة مطلع هذا العام، عرضت "إل جي" مؤخراً أحدث تقنيات التبريد لديها خلال معرض DCW Asia 2025 في سنغافورة، وذلك في خطوة تعزز من حضورها المتنامي في الأسواق العالمية.

وستُطرح الحلول المطوّرة بشكل مشترك ضمن منصة البنية التحتية للذكاء الاصطناعي من "فليكس" (Flex AI Infrastructure Platform)، وهي أول منصة عالمية لتصنيع مراكز البيانات تدمج الطاقة والتبريد والحوسبة والخدمات ضمن تصميمات معيارية متكاملة. وتوفر "فليكس" قدرات تصنيع متقدمة ومنتجات مبتكرة للطاقة والتبريد وخدمات شاملة عبر دورة حياة المركز، بما يلبّي احتياجات مراكز بيانات الذكاء الاصطناعي من حيث الطاقة والحرارة وقابلية التوسّع.
