- Open to cyclists and non-cyclists alike, the prestigious cycling brand’s experience centre at Al Hudayriyat Island will be the place to catch all the cycling action as the first ever edition of the UAE Tour Women’s Race gets underway

Abu Dhabi, 10 February 2023: The flagship Abu Dhabi experience centre of renowned Italian road bicycle manufacturer Colnago, has been announced as the host venue for Wolfi’s Official UAE Tour Women’s Race Fan Zone, from until 12 February. Colnago is the official bike supplier of the UAE Tour for both the women’s and men’s races.
The recently opened venue on Al Hudayriyat Island will be the place to be for those wishing to cheer on their favourite riders as they sprint, climb, breakaway, drive the peloton, and win stages during the UAE Tour’s first ever Women’s Race.
The Fan Zone will also give visitors inspired by the tour the opportunity to rent and try out Colnago’s race-winning V3Rs bike for themselves. Welcoming cyclists and non-cyclists alike, the Fan Zone will offer everyone a fun-filled experience while inspiring visitors to begin their own cycling journey and become a part of the ever-expanding Colnago Abu Dhabi cycling community.
As well as a series of daily prize giveaways and a display featuring the elite Colnago V4Rs bikes ridden by UAE Team ADQ, a specially curated UAE Tour menu with an Emirati twist will be served at its on-site Colnago Caffe. Including local favourites shakshuka, fattoush salad bowls, zaatar grilled chicken, and balaleet toast, the menu also features Arabic coffee, date lattes and fruit coolers – keeping cycling fans fully fuelled throughout the four days.
Following a packed schedule of fun activations, the weekend will conclude on Sunday 12th with a community ride, organised in partnership with the inspiring ladies from the ‘Women Moving Forward’ cycling community..
Coinciding with the last stage of the UAE Tour Women’s Race, the ride will begin at midday and go from the Official Fan Zone at Colnago Abu Dhabi to the start line of the race. After watching the exciting action, the community will ride back to the Fan Zone to enjoy a delectable brunch featuring a UAE Tour-inspired menu, before watching the race’s thrilling finish and the prize-giving ceremony.
Following the brunch, a workshop on glucose monitoring will also be conducted on-site by experts, allowing fans and amateur cyclists to learn about how continuous glucose monitoring, tracking and analysis can optimise training, recovery and performance.
