To support the large influx of travellers to the region, Etihad Airways has increased flight capacity to Qatar, and is operating six daily flights between Abu Dhabi and Doha until 18 December 2022.

Etihad Airways has been awarded the 2022 Passenger Choice Award for Best Entertainment in the Middle East by The Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX). For the 2022 Awards, nearly one million flights were rated by passengers across more than 600 airlines from around the world using a five-star scale. On the same screen, passengers were given the opportunity to provide anonymous ratings in five subcategories: seat comfort, cabin service, food and beverage, entertainment, and Wi-Fi. The single screen rating allows airline passengers to easily rate their flight in less than 15 seconds.

وبهدف تلبية الأعداد الكبيرة من عشاق الرياضة القادمين للمنطقة لحضور البطولة، قامت الاتحاد للطيران بزيادة عدد رحلاتها اليومية بين أبوظبي والدوحة لتصبح 6 رحلات حتى 18 ديسمبر 2022.
وفي هذا الخصوص، تحدّث تيري دالي، المدير التنفيذي لتجارب الضيوف والعلامة والتسويق في الاتحاد للطيران، قائلاً: "يأتي البث الحي لمباريات كرة القدم على متن الرحلات امتدادًا لبرنامج الترفيه على متن الطائرة الذي تقدمه الاتحاد للطيران لضيوفها. حيث من المتوقع تدفق الكثير من محبي كرة القدم إلى المنطقة للمرة الأولى، ونتطلع لنقدّم لهم خدمة الضيافة العربية المتفوقة التي لطالما اشتهرت بها الاتحاد للطيران."
