Blue Carbon will design a framework that will serve as a roadmap for Oracle Energy to achieve energy efficiency
Dubai, UAE, 26 October 2022: Blue Carbon, a Dubai based company incepted under the vision of Sheikh Ahmed Dalmook Al Maktoum to support carbon removal projects across the world, has signed today a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Oracle Energy Limited, a joint venture company of Oracle Power PLC, an international power and natural resource project developer listed on London’s AIM market.
The MoU aims to enable Oracle Energy to cut down its carbon emissions and explore opportunities to advance its net-zero goals as Blue Carbon extend continuous support in its decarbonization transition journey.
Signed between Josiane Sadaka, CEO of Blue Carbon LLC and Naheed Memon, CEO of Oracle Power Plc in Blue Carbon’s headquarters in Dubai, the joint agreement enables Blue Carbon to design a framework that will serve as a roadmap for Oracle to achieve energy efficiency.

Deep collaboration with customers is at the core of our operations and we are confident that this partnership will stimulate our efforts to establish robust strategies and best practices that will not only positively impact Oracle Energy’s operations but also serve as a benchmark for others in the region to follow,” said Josiane Sadaka.
CEO of Oracle, Naheed Memon, commented: “This MoU further builds on our developments in the hydrogen industry and further complements our JV partnership supported by Sheikh Ahmed Dalmook Al Maktoum, the chairman of Blue Carbon. With its expertise in climate change economics, Blue Carbon aims to be at the forefront of sustainable climate change investment, and we look forward to collaborating with them on a decarbonization roadmap to complement Oracle Energy’s green hydrogen project in Pakistan.”
Blue Carbon offers solutions to boost efforts needed to reduce energy-related carbon emissions to net-zero level by 2050 in compliance with the Paris Accords. Moreover, the company serves as an enabler of blue and green economy operational frameworks that sets the agenda for the implementation of international climate agreements.
While Blue Carbon’s framework will focus on Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) to calculate and benchmark carbon emission data, it will also outline suitable methodologies for registration and identify appropriate opportunities in the space of Carbon Capture and utilization. Moreover, both companies will identify suitable opportunities in low carbon environmental assets related to hydrogen.
Under the MoU, Blue Carbon will advise Oracle Energy on the aggregation of data related to Carbon Emission Reporting. Its team will be conducting workshops to share knowledge, relevance and compliance and consolidate a high-level sustainability vision for future implementation.
Oracle Power Plc is focused on delivering reliable power in high growth markets and unlocking the value of highly accretive natural resource assets in prospective regions. Its initial project is the Block VI Project in the Thar desert in the south-east of the Sindh province of Pakistan. The company is also developing two gold mining projects in Western Australia; the Jundee East Project and the Northern Zone Project.

"بلو كربون" ستعمل على تحقيق كفاءة الطاقة في مشروع الهيدروجين الأخضر الذي تطوره "أوراكل إنيرجي" في الباكستان
دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة، 26 أكتوبر 2022: أعلنت "بلو كربون" وهي الشركة الاماراتية التي تتخذ من دبي مقراً لها والتي تأسست وفقاً لرؤية الشيخ أحمد دلموك آل مكتوم لدعم مشاريع التخلص من الكربون حول العالم، عن توقيعها لمذكرة تفاهم مع شركة "أوراكل إنيرجي ليمتد" الدولية، التابعة لـ "اوراكل باور بي ال سي"، الشركة العالمية المتخصصة في تطوير مشاريع الطاقة والموارد الطبيعية والمدرجة في سوق AIM في لندن.
وتهدف اتفاقية الشراكة بين الطرفين إلى تمكين "أوراكل انيرجي" من خفض الانبعاث الكربوني واستكشاف فرص تحديث أهدافها في تحقيق صافي الصفرية، حيث ستقوم "بلو كربون" بتقديم الدعم المتواصل للشركة في جهودها لإزالة الكربون.
وقام بتوقيع مذكرة التفاهم كل من جوزيان صدقه، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة "بلو كربون" وناهد ميمون، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة "أوراكل" وذلك في مقر "بلو كربون" الرئيس في دبي. وتهدف الاتفاقية إلى تمكين "بلو كربون" من وضع إطار عمل ليكون بمثابة خارطة طريق لشركة "أوراكل انيرجي" لتحقيق كفاءة الطاقة.
وفي تعليقها على توقيع مذكرة التفاهم، قالت جوزيان صدقه، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة "بلو كربون": "يسرنا التعاون مع "أوراكل انيرجي" لدعم تسريع مسيرتهم في التخلص من الكربون لمشروع الهيدروجين الأخضر في دولة الباكستان. وإن التعاون الوثيق مع العملاء يمثل جوهر عملياتنا وإننا على ثقة بأن هذه الشراكة ستحفز جهودنا لوضع استراتيجيات قوية وتساهم في تطبيق أفضل الممارسات والتي لا تؤثر على عمليات "أوراكل انيرجي" فحسب، بل ستكون بمثابة معيار يمكن للاخرين تطبيقه في المنطقة".
ومن جانبها، قالت ناهد مينون، الرئيس التنفيذي في أوراكل: "ستدعم مذكرة التفاهم عملياتنا في مجال الهيدروجين. ويسرنا عقد هذه الشراكة مع "بلو كربون" التي تأسست وفق رؤية الشيخ أحمد دلموك آل مكتوم، رئيس مجلس الإدارة. ومن خلال خبرتها في اقتصادات التغير المناخي، تهدف "بلو كربون" إلى أن نكون في طليعة الاستثمار المستدام في مجال تغير المناخ، كما نتطلع إلى التعاون معها في خارطة طريق إزالة الكربون لاستكمال مشروع الهيدروجين الأخضر لشركة "أوراكل إنيرجي" في الباكستان".
يذكر أن "بلو كربون" تقدم حلولاً لتعزيز الجهود المطلوبة لتقليل الانبعاثات الكربونية المتصلة بالطاقة وصولاً إلى صفر كربون بحلول 2050 وفقاً لاتفاق باريس. أضف إلى ذلك، تقوم الشركة بالعمل على تمكين الأطر التشغيلية للاقتصاد الأزرق والأخضر والتي تحدد الجدول الزمني لتنفيذ اتفاقات المناخ الدولية.
وبينما يركِّز إطار عمل "بلو كربون" على المراقبة والإبلاغ والتحقق لحساب وقياس بيانات انبعاث الكربون، فإنه سيحدد أيضاً المنهجيات المناسبة للتسجيل وتحديد الفرص المناسبة في مجال التقاط الكربون واستخدامه. أضف إلى ذلك، ستحدد الشركتان الفرص المناسبة في الأصول البيئية منخفضة الكربون والمتعلقة بالهيدروجين.
وبناءً على مذكرة التفاهم، ستقوم "بلو كربون" بإبلاغ "اوراكل إنيرجي" حول تجميع البيانات المتصلة بتقارير الانبعاث الكربوني. كما سيقوم فريقها بتنظيم ورش العمل لتبادل المعرفة والامتثال وتوحيد رؤية الاستدامة عالية المستوى للتطبيق المستقبلي.
وتركز "أوراكل باور" على توفير طاقة موثوقة في الأسواق عالية النمو وتركز على أصول الموارد الطبيعية المتراكمة في المناطق المحتملة. وتقوم الشركة بتنفيذ مشروعها الأول Block VI في صحراء ثار في جنوب شرق مقاطعة السند في الباكستان. كما تقوم بتطوير مشروعين لتعدين الذهب في غرب استراليا، ومشروع جندي ايست ومشروع المنطقة الغربية.
