Dubai, United Arab Emirates — 4 April 2022— With Expo 2020 Dubai final curtain call after a 6-month grand-scale historic event, global technology company SAP, the Premier Innovative Enterprise Software Partner, congratulates the UAE and Expo leadership on an eminently resounding successful event and reflects on how its technologies enhanced the overall visitor experience. SAP’s partnership with Expo 2020 Dubai aligns with the UAE’s vision, paving the way for a global, sustainable future that reimagines how innovation can support a better world.
As a part of this partnership, SAP provided strong support in the running of Expo 2020 Dubai. SAP served as the backbone for finance, HR, and procurement services with SAP Ariba, for the event to run seamlessly, while SAP Customer Checkout played a key role in retail innovation with more than 300 retailers processing more than 450,000 daily payments. SAP also co-innovated PODway with the Expo team, an exclusive app dedicated to enhancing the experience for people of determination by highlighting accessible features in each pavilion and accessible services via real-time event insights.
SAP House, connected to the Al Wasl Dome, provided an innovation hub for SAP’s activities, serving as a central point for its presence throughout the six-month event, in addition to providing an immersive customer experience area with live demos, and the presence of SAP’s strategic partners Google Cloud and Deloitte. Hosting more than 2,500 visitors and over 75 events, SAP House garnered in the excess of 80 million impressions across social media channels. In addition to hosting events, SAP House was a source of inspiration for customers, and government officials to co-innovate and address some of the most pressing business challenges.

SAP Chief Executive Officer and member of the Executive Board of SAP SE, Christian Klein, toured SAP House during his first visit to the MENA region and spoke to SAP Academy graduates. Another notable visitor was Luka Mucic, CFO and Executive Board Member of SAP, who engaged with employees, partners, and customers during various events. Mucic also hosted a special event 'Beyond 50, Defining the Future Together' where he met with H.E. Reem Al Hashimi, Minister of State for International Cooperation and Director General of Expo 2020 Dubai.
SAP also hosted H.E. Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD, and CEO of DEWA, during a partnership signing between SAP and Moro Hub, a subsidiary of the digital arm of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, Digital DEWA.
SAP House was the setting for many other key events such as hosting a joint initiative by the United Nations (UN) and SAP Next-Gen discussing the challenges facing youth and the public-private-academic partnerships that aim to achieve global goals through the lens of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Guests from the UN included the Secretary General’s Envoy on Youth and Sustainable Development Goal Young Leaders.

"إس إيه بي" تحتفل بالنجاح المبهر لمعرض إكسبو 2020 دبي وبشراكتها معه
دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة، 4 أبريل 2022 – مع إسدال الستار على فعاليات إكسبو 2020 دبي، الحدث التاريخي الضخم الذي امتدت فعالياته لمدة 6 أشهر، وجهت شركة "إس إيه بي"، بوصفها شريك الابتكار الرئيسي لبرمجيات المؤسسات، التهنئة لقيادة دولة الإمارات والقائمين على إدارة المعرض على النجاح الكبير الذي يعكس الدور الذي لعبته تقنيات الشركة وحلولها في الارتقاء بتجارب الزوار.
وتتماشى شراكة "إس إيه بي" مع إكسبو 2020 دبي مع رؤية دولة الإمارات وتطلعاتها المستقبلية، كما تمهّد الطريق أمام رحلة التحول الرقمي التي تشهدها البلاد.
وقد وفرت شركة "إس إيه بي" دعماّ كبيرا لمعرض إكسبو 2020 دبي من خلال شراكتهما معاً، حيث كان للشركة دور مفصلي في إدارة خدمات الشؤون المالية والموارد البشرية والمشتريات عبر حلول "إس إيه بي أريبا"، في حين لعبت حلول "كستمر تشيك أوت" دوراً رئيسياً في تعزيز الابتكارات الخاصة بقطاع التجزئة في المعرض مع اعتماد أكثر من 300 متجر على هذه الحلول للتعامل مع ما يزيد على 450 ألف عملية شراء يومياً. كما ساهمت "إس إيه بي" في تطوير PODway، وهو تطبيق مخصص للارتقاء بتجربة الزوار من أصحاب الهمم من خلال تسليط الضوء على المزايا المتاحة في كلّ جناح والخدمات التي يمكن الوصول إليها عبر المعلومات الفورية والمباشرة حول ما يجري في المعرض.
كما وفر "إس إيه بي هاوس"، المجاور لساحة الوصل، مركزاً لأنشطة "إس إيه بي" طوال الحدث والذي استمرّت فعالياته لمدّة ستة أشهر، حيث خصص منطقة للتجارب الغامرة للعملاء والعروض الحية، واستضاف شركاء إس إيه بي الاستراتيجيين (جوجل كلاود و ديلويت)، كما استضاف المركز أكثر من 2500 زائر وأكثر من 75 فعالية، وظهر على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي أكثر من 80 مليون مرّة، كما مثّل المركز مصدر إلهام للعملاء والمسؤولين الحكوميين للمشاركة في الابتكار ومعالجة بعض تحديات الأعمال الأكثر إلحاحًا.
وبهذه المناسبة، أعرب سيرجيو ماكوتا النائب الأول للرئيس لمنطقة جنوب الشرق الأوسط لدى "إس إيه بي"، عن الفخر بكون شركته "أول شريك عالمي متميز" لهذا الحدث الكبير، وقال: "لعبنا في إكسبو 2020 دبي دورًا حيويًا لم يقتصر على إدارة العمليات اليومية بأحدث تقنياتنا، ولكنه امتدّ ليشمل أيضًا مشاركة الحدث في الابتكار ودعم نجاحه الهائل، حتى تجاوز جميع التوقعات. وإننا نتطلع إلى استمرار الحوار حول التقدم والاستدامة والفرصة لبناء مستقبل أفضل للأجيال القادمة".
وقام كريستيان كلاين الرئيس التنفيذي لـ "إس إيه بي" وعضو مجلس الإدارة التنفيذي لـ "إس إيه بي إس إي"، بجولة في "إس إيه بي هاوس" خلال زيارته الأولى لمنطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا، حيث تحدّث إلى خريجي أكاديمية "إس إيه بي". كذلك زار مقرّ "إس إيه بي" في المعرض الدولي الكبير لوكا موسيتش كبير مسؤولي المالية وعضو مجلس الإدارة التنفيذي لدى "إس إيه بي"، الذي تواصل مع الموظفين والشركاء والعملاء خلال مختلف الفعاليات التي نظمتها الشركة، بينها فعالية خاصة أقيمت تحت عنوان "نرسم معًا ملامح المستقبل لما بعد الخمسين"، استضاف فيها موسيتش معالي ريم الهاشمي وزيرة الدولة لشؤون التعاون الدولي والمدير العام للجنة التنفيذية لمعرض إكسبو 2020 دبي.
واستضافت "إس إيه بي"، من ناحية أخرى، معالي سعيد محمد الطاير العضو المنتدب الرئيس التنفيذي لهيئة كهرباء ومياه دبي، خلال توقيع اتفاقية شراكة بينها وبين "مورو" التابع لـ "ديوا الرقمية"، الذراع الرقمي لهيئة كهرباء ومياه دبي.
وكان "إس إيه بي هاوس" شهد إقامة العديد من الفعاليات المهمة الأخرى، كاستضافة مبادرة مشتركة بين الأمم المتحدة وبرنامج "نكست جين" من "إس إيه بي" لمناقشة التحدّيات التي تواجه الشباب وعلاقات الشراكة الأكاديمية بين القطاعين العام والخاص والتي تهدف إلى تحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة العالمية من منظور التنوع والمساواة والشمول. وكان من بين الضيوف من الأمم المتحدة مبعوث الأمين العام للشباب وقادةٌ شباب من المعنيين بتحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة.
هذا، وتفخر "إس إيه بي" بالمساهمة في تحويل جناح بادن-فورتمبيرغ إلى مركز "بادن-فورتمبيرغ-دبي" للابتكار في منطقة ديستريكت 2020 الجديدة ضمن إرث إكسبو 2020 دبي.
