The School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at the American University in Cairo (AUC) is organizing a webinar titled "Syrian and Lebanese Crises in a Mirror,” as part of the Tahrir Dialogue Series. The webinar will discuss the Syrian and Lebanese conflicts, their recovery challenges and how interrelated they are.

Panelists include Samir Aita, president of the Arab Economists Circle and former editor in chief of Le Monde Diplomatique Arabic Edition; Ramzy Ezzeldin Ramzy, former ambassador of Egypt and former assistant secretary general of the United Nations and deputy envoy for Syria and Nassif Hitti, Lebanese diplomat, politician and former foreign minister. The webinar will be hosted by Nabil Fahmy, the founding dean of AUC’s School of Global Affairs and Public Policy and Egypt’s former foreign minister.
