WHAT
Lecture, “Art Therapy in Post-2011 Egypt,” as part of the Provost’s Lecture Series at The American University in Cairo (AUC). The lecture will address art as a form of self expression.
The Provost Lecture Series promotes dialogue amongst the larger AUC community and the public on issues of public importance at the national, regional, or international levels.

Carol Hammal, art psychotherapist, medical and digital art therapy consultant, and member of the Digital Committee of the American Art Therapy Association. Hammal previously worked for the American Red Cross as an Art Therapist and introduced art therapy to disaster victims at the Red Cross House as part of her work with Philadelphia’s disaster relief team.
