Samsung’s latest flagship boasts an innovative Super Slow-mo video function; and new, customizable AR Emojis
Cairo, Egypt, 18 April 2018 - Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. recently announced the local launch of the Galaxy S9 and S9+. Following a remarkable post-launch global success, the long awaited devices are made available to Egyptians, confirming Samsung’s leadership position as a leading innovator.

Samsung outfitted both the Galaxy S9 and S9+ with innovative camera technologies designed to render photos with impeccable quality. The best-in-class Dual Camera featured on the Galaxy S9+ is composed of a pair of 12MP cameras – an F1.5 wide-angle lens with Super Speed Dual Pixel image sensor, and an F2.4 telephoto lens – that seamlessly combine their respective images into one. The camera in both devices includes features such as Super Slow-mo and Dual Aperture, which allow users to capture amazing moments in thorough detail, as well as exciting innovations like AR Emoji, which offer users a fun and unique way to express themselves.
By increasing the camera’s shutter speed to a blistering 960 frames per second (fps), the Galaxy S9’s new Super Slow-mo function makes it easy for users to record special moments that pass too quickly to be seen by the naked eye. In order to incorporate the function, Samsung outfitted the Galaxy S9 with a Super Speed Dual Pixel image sensor that supports faster image processing. This sensor allows Super Slow-mo to record content that’s 32 times slower than normal video, and four times slower than any other slow-motion mobile technology.
When activated on the Galaxy S9, the function is not just fast; it’s also smart. To make capturing slow-motion footage even simpler, Samsung enhanced the function with an intelligent feature called Automatic Motion Detection, which allows users to capture any fleeting moment.
As for the AR Emoji feature, it offers users a visual communication tool that allows them to express themselves in a way that’s unique to them. From a single selfie, the Galaxy S9’s machine-learning algorithm analyzes more than 100 distinct facial features, including the eyes, nose, mouth, cheeks and forehead, and uses that data to generate a personalized 3D avatar, that looks just like the user. Each avatar is capable of mimicking the user’s own movements, in addition to supporting 18 pre-set expressions at launch, which makes it easy to punctuate any point with a dynamic visual.
Users can choose to create their own avatar, or pick one from a built-in selection of unique characters. Each is fully customizable, so users may edit their avatar’s facial features, hairstyle, accessories (such as glasses) and clothing to their liking.

زودت سامسونج كاميرا الهاتفين الجديدين S9 وS9+ بتكنولوجيا جديدة ومبتكرة تم تصميمها لالتقاط صور فائقة الجودة، حيث تم تزويد الهاتف S9+ بأفضل كاميرا مزدوجة من نوعها تتألف من كاميرتين بدقة 12 ميجا بكسل لكل منهما وبفتحة عدسة F1.5 تتمتع بزاوية رؤية واسعة، وحسّاس Dual Pixel فائق السرعة، بالإضافة لفتحة عدسة F2.4 طويلة البؤرة تقوم بدمج الصور الخاصة بنفس الكادر لتصبح صورة واحدة بكل سلاسة. وتتمتع الكاميرا في كلا الهاتفين بباقة من الخصائص المتطورة مثل تصوير مقاطع الفيديو بسرعة بطيئة للغاية، بالإضافة لفتحة عدسة مزدوجة تتيح للمستخدم التقاط أروع اللحظات بتفاصيل متكاملة وفائقة الوضوح والدقة. يتميز الهاتفان أيضاً بابتكارات أخرى رائعة مثل أيقونات الإيموجي بتكنولوجيا الواقع المُعزّز والتي تمنح المستخدمين أسلوباً ممتعاً وفريداً للتعبير عن أنفسهم.
ومع زيادة سرعة غالق العدسة (الشَتَر) لتصل إلى 960 فريم في الثانية، يمكن لوظيفة التصوير فائق البطء في هاتف جالاكسي S9 تصوير أروع اللحظات حتى التي تمر بسرعة عالية، بحيث تتمكن العين المجردة من رؤيتها بسرعة معتادة. ومن أجل دمج هذه الوظيفة المتطورة في الجهاز، زوّدت سامسونج الهاتف الجديدة بحسّاس Dual Pixel فائق السرعة يدعم خاصية المعالجة السريعة للصور التي يتم التقاطها. يتيح هذا الحساس المتطور امكانية التصوير البطيء للغاية للمحتوى بسرعة أبطأ 32 مرة من الفيديوهات المعتادة، وأبطأ 4 مرات من أي تكنولوجيا مماثلة للتصوير البطيء في الهواتف المحمولة.
ولا تتسم خاصية التصوير بسرعة بطيئة بسهولة وسرعة تشغيلها فقط، ولكنها تتسم بذكائها أيضاً. فحتى تتمكن ببساطة من التقاط الفيديوهات بسرعة بطيئة، زودت سامسونج الهاتف الجديد بخاصية ذكية تُسمى خاصية الاكتشاف التلقائي للحركة والتي تتيح للمستخدم التقاط الأحداث واللحظات التي تمر بسرعة خاطفة.
أما أيقونات الإيموجي التي تعمل بتكنولوجيا الواقع المُعزّز (AR) فتتيح للمستخدمين امكانية التواصل مع الأصدقاء من خلال أداة بصرية ممتعة والتعبير عن أنفسهم بأسلوب شيق وفريد. فمن خلال لقطة سيلفي واحدة، يتمكن الهاتف الذكي من اجراء تحليلات رقمية دقيقة لأكثر من 100 خاصية مختلفة للوجه، بما في ذلك العينين والأنف والفم والوجنتين والجبهة، ويستخدم هذه البيانات في ابتكار مجسم رقمي ثلاثي الأبعاد للوجه (أفاتار) يشبه المستخدم لدرجة كبيرة. ويستطيع كل أفتار أنّ يحاكي حركات المستخدم، بالإضافة لدعمه 18 تعبيراً مسبق الإعداد تم تزويد الجهاز بها، وهو ما يعني امكانية التعبير عن كل لحظة بالوجه المناسب لها.
في الوقت نفسه، يمكن للمستخدم ابتكار الأفاتار الخاص به، أو انتقاء احدى البدائل المزود بها الجهاز مسبقاً، بحيث يمكن للمستخدم تعديل الأفتار الذي قام باختياره حسب تقاسيم وجهه وتسريحة شعره وأي اكسسوارات أخرى (مثل النظارة)، وكذلك الملابس التي يرغب فيها.
