Oscars of the tourism industry names Mövenpick Resort & Spa Tala Bay Aqaba as Jordan’s Leading Resort for five straight years.
Aqaba, Jordan – 25 April 2018. Five consecutive wins as ‘Jordan’s Leading Resort’ made this year’s World Travel Awards extra special for Mövenpick Resort & Spa Tala Bay Aqaba. The five-resort is situated on a private beach; just 15 minutes away from the Aqaba city centre and also near King Hussein International Airport, which is 20-minute drive away. The resort’s guests are welcome to take advantage of the complimentary shuttle services to Aqaba airport and Aqaba downtown which are on first-come-first-served.
During the end of 2017, a 27% increase of tourists visiting Aqaba was reported, partly due to new charters and direct flights from Scandinavia and other destinations. Direct European flight fares to Aqaba will also be available from October 2018.
