AUC STUDENTS TO HOLD A COMPETITION ABOUT THE DEVELOPMENT OF SINAI


WHAT
The student-run Model of the Council of Ministers (MCM) organization at The American University in Cairo (AUC) will hold the closing ceremony of MCM Annual Governance and Policy Case Study competition that will be on the development of the Sinai Peninsula. The competition will be held among AUC student teams where they will present their proposals to a panel of Egyptian officials and AUC professors. Winning teams will receive a total of 12 internships at several Egyptian ministries, including the Ministry of Investment, Ministry of Planning, Ministry of Social Solidarity and Ministry of Higher education.

Panel will include Khaled Fouada, governor of South Sinai; Mohamed Shawky Rashwan, head of the National Sinai Development Authority; Ghada Barsoum, associate professor of public policy and Khaled Tarabieh, assistant professor of architecture.
