The world leader in direct sales of cosmetics is raising awareness of unique career paths and greater access to high-quality, affordable cosmetics
Cairo, Egypt: 10 September 2017 - Avon, the world leader in direct sales of cosmetics, has launched two new campaigns to highlight the beauty of pushing boundaries and thinking outside the box, a women empowerment video series and an initiative to ensure more women have access to high-quality, affordable cosmetics.
In line with the world-renowned cosmetics company’s Beauty for Purpose women empowerment initiative, Avon is showcasing success stories of Egyptian women who have chosen career paths that may seem more typically male oriented. The first cycle of the video series entitled, Follow your Dreams, features a marathon and Iron Man champion, a rally racer, bodyguard, founder of Pink Taxi and the founder of the first female biker club Egypt Female Biker. Avon’s Beauty for Purpose initiative continues to spark imaginations and conversations all around the world that inspire women and move each other to action. The objective is to build a shared community of leaders, entrepreneurs, activists and influencers to advance the causes that lead to a better world for women.
The beauty company is also launching a campaign to ensure more women have access to affordable cosmetics, by offering discounts of up to 70% on select products. As 8 August 2017, more than 20 products will be on sale at 70% off the regular retail prices, over 50 products will be available for 60% off and a discount of 50% will be offered on more than 150 products.
“We believe that every woman is beautiful, strong, extraordinary and unstoppable,” said Farouk. “At a time of economic challenges, and in light of the EGP flotation, many companies had to increase their prices to maintain their operations and profitability. At Avon, we have chosen a different, bold, more unconventional route, much like the career paths chosen by the inspiring women in our Follow your Dreams video series. We are ensuring women have the opportunity to enjoy high quality cosmetics, even if they’re on a budget.”

تطلق الشركة أيضاً حملة أخرى تستهدف حصول المزيد من السيدات على مستحضرات التجميل فائقة الجودة بأسعار اقتصادية، من خلال تقديم خصومات تصل إلى 70٪ على عدد من المنتجات المختارة اعتبارا من الثامن من أغسطس 2017 . وتتضمن العروض أكثر من 20 منتج بخصم يصل إلى 70٪ من أسعار التجزئة المعتادة، هذا بالإضافة إلى خصم 60٪ على أكثر من 50 منتج، وخصم 50٪ على أكثر من 150 منتج.
