A superphone for the
young superstars

During a glamorous evening, Huawei Consumer Business Group (CBG) revealed the
successor of its stylish and premium mid-range nova series, Huawei nova 2 Plus
at LivBeirut in Jal El Dib. Guests including partners, influencers and members
of the press, received a dazzling red carpet treatment as they walked in to
meet the Superstar: Huawei nova 2 Plus and capture photos with its 20-megapixel
front camera specially designed for selfies and video calls.
The event was preceded
by a presentation headed by Huawei senior officials followed by an
entertainment session in which the best of Beirut’s young artists and
performers swayed the event with their mesmerizing performance.
“The introduction of nova
2 Plus comes after a breakthrough global growth during the first quarter of
2017 where smartphone shipments of Huawei devices increased by over 50%
comparing to 2016. This impressive growth is a testament of Huawei distinctive
devices that combine advanced technology with innovation, quality and style,”
said Rex Liu, President of Huawei Consumer Business Group Levant Region. “With
the successful launch of the 7th device in the Lebanese market this year,
Huawei nova 2 Plus will surely appeal to the young consumers in Lebanon who are
looking for a distinctive experience at a comfortable price tag,” added Rex.
The big highlight of
the smartphone is its dual camera setup at the back and the 20-megapixel front
camera. The dual camera setup consists of a 12-megapixel sensor with f/1.8
aperture for a wider-angle, and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens for more zoom.
The front camera, set to redefine the era of capturing a Selfie, sports a
20-megapixel sensor with intelligent fill light for low light photography and
beauty filters to enhance selfies further.
Coming with a metal
finish and a fingerprint scanner at the back, The dual SIM Huawei nova 2 Plus
houses a 5.50-inch touchscreen with a 2.5D-curved glass on top and packs a
3340mAh battery with fast charging support. Running the latest Android 7.0
Nougat, the new device is powered by 2.36GHz octa-core Kirin 659 processor and
it comes with 4GB of RAM. The inbuilt storage also sees a bump up to 64 GB.
Adding to the glam
throughout the event, a team of suit-wearing professional photographers roamed
in between attendees to take different shots of them on a red carpet – creating
an illusion of fame. At the end of the night, attendees were given the chance to
win the nova 2 Plus device where 2 lucky winners walked away as Superstars.

بيروت، في 9 آب 2017: أطلقت مجموعة هواوي لأعمال المستهلكين هاتفها الجديد nova 2 Plus خلال حفل مهيب في ملهى Liv في جل
الديب. ويعتبر هذا الإصدار أحد أفراد أسرة هواتف Nova المتوسطة والفخمة الأنيقة. وحضر الحفل شركاء "هواوي"
وحشد من الإعلاميين والمدوّنين والناشطين على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي. وتم
استقبالهم على السجادة الحمراء للقاء

خصيصاً لالتقاط الصور الذاتية "سيلفي" وإجراء
مكالمات الفيديو.
وسبق الحفل عرضٌ قدّمه أحد كبار المسؤولين في
"هواوي" تلته جلسة ترفيهية أحياها أفضل مغنّي بيروت وعازفيها من شباب
الجيل الصاعد فأسروا جمهورهم بأدائهم الساحر.
وحول الموضوع، قال رئيس مجموعة هواوي لأعمال المستهلكين في
المشرق، ريكس ليو: "يأتي إطلاق هاتف nova 2 Plus عقب النمو المطرد الذي حققته الشركة على الصعيد العالمي خلال
الربع الأوّل من العام. فقد ارتفع معدل شحنات "هواوي" من الهواتف الذكية
بنسبة فاقت 50% مقارنة بالعام الماضي. وهذا النمو الساحق هو دليل على تميّز أجهزة "هواوي"
التي تجمع التقنيات المتطورة مع الابتكار والجودة والأناقة"، مضيفاً: "مع
إطلاق الهاتف السابع بنجاح في السوق اللبنانية هذا العام، من المتوقع أن يستقطب هاتف
nova 2 Plus المستهلكين الشباب الباحثين عن تجربة مميزة بسعر مدروس."
يذكر أن أبرز مزايا الهاتف الذكي
الجديد تشمل كاميرا خلفية ثنائية العدسات وكاميرا أمامية بدقة 20 ميغابيكسل. وتتألف الكاميرا الخلفية ثنائية العدسات بمستشعر بدقة 12 ميغابيكسل مع فتحة F1.8 لإلتقاط الصور من زاوية واسعة، وأخرى بدقة 8 ميغابيكسل لإلتقاط الصور عن قرب مع مزيد من التكبير. وستعيد الكاميرا الأمامية
تعريف عصر التقاط الصور الذاتية "سيلفي"، بفضل مستشعرها بدقة 20 ميغابيكسل المزوّد بفلاش ذكي لتعبئة ضوء التصوير الفوتوغرافي في ظروف إضاءة
خافتة وإعدادات التجميل لتعزيز صور السيلفي.
ويأتي هاتفnova 2 Plus بتصميم معدني، وماسح بصمات الأصابع
في الجزء الخلفي، وشاشة تعمل باللمس بقياس
5.5 بوصة بدقة عالية، وزجاج عالي الجودة منحني الأطرافD 2.5 على الأعلى. كما هو مجهّز لحمل
شريحتين ومزوّد ببطارية بحجم 3340 ميلي أمبير مع ميزة الشحن السريع.
ويعتمد الهاتف الجديد أحدث نظام للتشغيل طراز أندرويد 7.0 المعروف باسم "نوغا"
(Nougat) وهو مزوّد بمعالج ثماني النوي "كيرين 659" ويأتي بذاكرة عشوائية سعة 4 غيغابايت وسعة تخزين مدمجة تصل إلى 64 غيغابايت.
