Leading company casts bold new outlook for 2020
March 22, 2017 - EastNets, (eastnets.com), a leading provider of innovative global compliance and payments solutions, successfully held its 14th Annual Conference 2017 from 7th-9th March at The Grand Millennium Hotel, Amman Jordan. The event was described as one of the company's most inspiring annual conferences, which has been a company tradition that has been in effect for the last 14 years.
This year’s rallying call was ’Growth: It’s Our Choice,’ echoing EastNets plans to accelerate growth this year. The company expansion is already on track with a 25 per cent growth in workforce since last year.
The event witnessed quite an intense engagement level by key employees, partners, clients and experts. The robustness among attendees is fueled by the unusually high activity in the global financial regulatory environment, which continues to exert profound changes on financial institutions, the core client base of EastNets.
Hazem Mulhim, EastNets Founder & CEO, said, “We presented the EastNets 2020 Strategy at the conference. The strategy in general and our product strategy specifically have been meticulously designed to address the ever rising compliance challenges affecting financial institutions. Keynote Speakers for the 14th Annual EastNets Conference 2017 were representatives of two main tracks within the financial industry, compliance and enforcement.
On the broader issue of compliance, MENA Economist & Advisor, H.E. Dr. Nasser Saidi, spoke in great clarity and breadth about the far-reaching impact of financial crime on the global economy. Saidi is Founder and President of Nasser Saidi & Associates and the former Chief Economist and Head of External Relations at the DIFC Authority and Executive Director of Hawkamah, The Institute for Corporate Governance and Mudara Institute of Directors.
Illuminating financial crime from the perspective of an investigator, Gregory Coleman, Founder and CEO of Coleman Worldwide Advisors, engaged the audience with his unique experience as a Special FBI Agent handling the case of Jordan Belfort and his associates, a case made infamous in the movie ‘The Wolf of Wall Street.’’
The first day of the conference was dedicated to sales presentations and workshop by sales guru Bob Apollo, with more focus given to consultative selling.
On the sidelines of the Conference, EastNets held brief negotiations with potential partners for new markets in the US, Caribbeans, Central and South America. Earlier this year, EastNets had concluded a partnership agreement for the state of Florida in the US.

الإمارات، 22 مارس 2017 - عقدت "إيست نتس" (eastnets.com)، إحدى الشركات المتخصصة في مجال توفير حلول المدفوعات وخدمات الامتثال المالي العالمية المبتكرة، مؤتمرها السنوي الرابع عشر بنجاح وذلك من 7 ولغاية 9 مارس في فندق جراند ميلينيوم عمّان - الأردن. وشكل الحدث واحداً من بين أكثر المؤتمرات السنوية تحفيزاً وإلهاماً التي دأبت الشركة على عقدها على مدار الـ 14 عاماً الماضية.
وحمل مؤتمر هذا العام شعار "النمو خيارنا" وذلك انسجاماً مع خطط "إيست نتس" الرامية إلى تسريع وتيرة النمو خلال هذا العام. وتمضي الشركة في تنفيذ خطتها التوسعية، حيث حققت زيادة بنسبة 25% في قوتها العاملة منذ العام الماضي.
وشهد المؤتمر مشاركة واسعة من جانب كبار الموظفين والشركاء والعملاء والخبراء، حيث دعم هذه المشاركة الواسعة النشاط غير المسبوق على صعيد البيئة التنظيمية المالية العالمية، التي تواصل إحداث تغييرات عميقة على المؤسسات المالية، التي تمثل قاعدة العملاء الرئيسية لشركة "إيست نتس".

وكان المتحدثين الرئيسيين في مؤتمر "إيست نتس" السنوي الرابع عشر ممثلين عن المسارين الرئيسيين في القطاع المالي وهما؛ الامتثال المالي والإنفاذ.
وفيما يتعلق بمسألة الامتثال المالي بوجهٍ عام؛ تحدث الاقتصادي الدكتور ناصر السعيدي باستفاضة حول الأثر بعيد المدى للجرائم المالية على الاقتصاد العالمي. ويعد السعيدي مؤسس ورئيس شركة ناصر السعيدي وشركاه، كما شغل سابقاً منصب كبير الاقتصاديين ورئيس العلاقات الخارجية في مركز دبي المالي العالمي، بالإضافة إلى كونه المدير التنفيذي السابق لمعهد حوكمة الشركات "حوكمة" ومعهد المديرين "مدراء".
وبإلقاء الضوء على الجريمة المالية من منظور المحقق، قدم جريجوري كولمان، المؤسس والرئيس التنفيذي لشركة كولمان للاستشارات العالمية Coleman Worldwide Advisors، للجمهور خبرته الفريدة كمحقق خاص سابقاً لدى مكتب التحقيقات الفيدرالي الأمريكي FBI والذي تولى التحقيق في قضية جوردان بيلفورت وشركائه، وهي القضية التي اشتهرت من خلال فيلم "ذئب وول ستريت"،الذي ألقى الضوء على شخصية جوردان بيلفورت مضارب الأسهم ومحتال البورصة السابق.
وتم تخصيص اليوم الأول من فعاليات المؤتمر للعروض التقديمة حول المبيعات، بالإضافة إلى ورشة عمل أدارها خبير المبيعات، بوب أبوللو والتي تم فيها التركيز بشكل خاص على مفهوم "البيع الاستشاري".
وعقدت "إيست نتس" على هامش المؤتمر، مفاوضات قصيرة مع عدد من الشركاء المحتملين في الأسواق الجديدة في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، ودول الكاريبي، وأمريكا الوسطى وأمريكا الجنوبية. والجدير ذكره أن "إيست نتس" قامت مع مطلع هذا العام بعقد اتفاقية شراكة لولاية فلوريدا الأمريكية.
