Trendsetters in HR from the government and public sector honoured at the GCC GOV HR Awards
Abu Dhabi, November 1st, 2016— At the recently concluded 4thannual GOV HR Summit organized by Dubai based QnA International, women leaders and corporate giants in the government and public sectors were honoured at the GCC GOV HR Awards for their outstanding contribution in creating a breakthrough in people performance across the GCC region.
The GCC GOV HR awards comprised of 13 categories and are designed to recognize, felicitate and honour outstanding contributions and achievements in the field of HR. Nominations for the awards which were open to the government and private sector organizations, and individuals were received online and adjudged by an esteemed panel of judges comprising of independent experts, analysts, HR experts, journalists, and academicians. Some of the most coveted awards included the best ‘Nationalization Initiative in the GCC’ applicable to both the public and private sector; ‘GOV HR Leader of the Year’ and the ‘Visionary Leader of the Year’ for individuals.
The Guests of Honour at the Awards Ceremony were Brigadier Obeid Al Ketbi, Abu Dhabi Police, and
Dr. Adel Khalifa Alzayani, the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf – Secretariat General.
Women leaders shone at the ceremony bagging the coveted ‘Organization of the Year for Women Empowerment’ and tied in the individual category for ‘GOV HR Leader of the Year’.
Ms. Fatima Haider, Chief Human Resources Officer, Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar tied for the ‘GOV HR Leader of the Year’. Upon receiving her award, Ms. Haider said, “I am honoured to have received the ‘GOV HR Leader of the Year’ award and at the same time I feel humbled because whatever has been achieved at Hamad Medical Corporation has been the result of the great effort and commitment of my dedicated team. Each member is just like my extended family and I feel very lucky to work with them and be the facilitator to draw the best from them.’’
Receiving the award for ‘Organization of the Year for Women Empowerment’ on behalf of Emirates Women Police Association, Abu Dhabi Police, Major Amna Mohammad Khamis Al Beloushi, Leader Emirates Women Police Association said, “Being the proud winner of the ‘Organization of the Year for Women Empowerment’ is a thrilling moment for us at the Emirates Women Police Association. We will continue to strive as an organization to empower women and equip them with the required skills and knowledge. Thank you once again for the recognition."
In the organizational awards, the locally renowned Al Futtaim Group won the award for best ‘Nationalization Initiative in the Private Sector’. Receiving the award on behalf of Al Futtaim Group, Mr. Zuhair Al Haj, Director of HR & Localization – MENA, said “I am proud and honoured to represent Al-Futtaim and to receive this prestigious award, which recognises the significant investment that we are making as a group, in developing National talent into future leaders. Our internal ‘Talent for Growth’ agenda focusses on attracting the best National talent, whom we then engage and develop so that they may have a long and successful career within our diverse group. Regionally, Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation –KAHRAMAA, grabbed the award for ‘Digital HR Award of the Year.’ Receiving the award on behalf of the organization, Ms. Najlaa Adel S A Al Buanain, Manager Human Resources said, “Kahramaa being accorded with such a prestigious GCC Government Award is a testimony of its professionalism, best HR digital services and practices in the region. Kahramaa is committed to providing better customer services through effective human resources strategies, systems and business processes aligned to meet its corporate objectives and accomplish Qatar vision 2030.’’ The Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (KAHRAMAA) is the sole provider of electricity and water under the Ministry of Industry and Energy, Doha, Qatar.

القيادات النسائية تسيطر على حفل توزيع جوائز الموارد البشرية في القطاع الحكومي
تكريم اصحاب التجارب والممارسات الرائدة في مجال الموارد البشرية في القطاع الحكومي والعام خلال القمة الحكومية للموارد البشرية الرابعة
(ابو ظبي، 1 نوفمبر 2016) – سيطرت القيادات النسائية في القطاعين الحكومي والعام على حفل جوائز جوائز الموارد البشرية في القطاع الحكومي الاول، والذي عقد في اليوم الختامي للقمة الحكومية للموارد البشرية الرابعة التي اختتمت اعمالها مؤخرا في العاصمة ابو ظبي ونظمتها شركة "كيو ان ايه انترناشونال". خلال الحفل تم تكريم العديد من الشركات والمؤسسات في مختلف دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي لمساهمتهم البارزة في خلق طفرة في أداء الموظفين و رفعت معايير اداءهم في اماكن العمل.
وتألف حفل الجوائز من 13 فئة تهدف الى تسليط الضوء وتكريم المساهمات والإنجازات المتميزة في مجال الموارد البشرية. ترشيحات الجوائز كانت مفتوحة للمنظمات الحكومية والقطاع الخاص من خلال الانترنت، اما لجنة تحكيم فقد تألفت من خبراء مستقلين ومحللين و وقادة في مجال الموارد البشرية والصحفيين و الأكاديميين. وقد كانت اكثر فئات الجوائز تميزا " أفضل مبادرة "توطين" في الخليج العربي للقطاعين العام والخاص، وجائزة العام لأفضل قيادي في مجال الموارد البشرية في القطاع الحكومي، واخيرا جائزة افضل قيادي غير تقليدي.
ضيوف الشرف في حفل جوائز العميد عبيد الكتبي مدير عام الإدارة العامة للموارد البشرية في شرطة أبو ظبي، والدكتور عادل خليفة الزياني، رئيس قطاع شؤون الإنسان والبيئة بالأمانة العامة لدول مجلس التعاون الخليجي.
وقد تمكنت القيادات النسائية من حصد اهم الجوائز خلال الحفل، فحصلت السيدة فاطمة حيدر، الرئيس التنفيذي للموارد البشرية في مؤسسة حمد الطبية، على جائزة العام لأفضل قيادي في مجال الموارد البشرية في القطاع الحكومي مناصفة، وقالت بعد استلامها للجائزة "يشرفني الحصول على هذه الجائزة وفي نفس الوقت أشعر بالتواضع لأن ما تم تحقيقه في مؤسسة حمد الطبية كانت نتيجة لجهد كبير والتزام من فريق العمل المتفاني. كل عضو هو تماما مثل عائلتي الممتدة، وأنا أشعر بأنني محظوظ للغاية للعمل معهم واني استطيع ان اخرج افضل ما لديهم في مجال العمل".
وقد استلمت اللواء آمنة محمد خميس البلوشي جائزة العام للمنظمة الأفضل بمجال تمكين المرأة، بالنيابة عن جمعية الشرطة النسائية الاماراتية - شرطة أبوظبي، وقد عبرت عن سعادتها بالجائزة مؤكدة " نحن فخورون لحصولنا على هذه الجائزة المهمة. وبالتأكيد سنواصل السعي دوما كمنظمة لتمكين المرأة وإكسابها المهارات والمعارف المطلوبة لتتطور في مجال عملها".
اما في جوائز المنظمات، حصلت مجموعة الفطيم المحلية على جائزة أفضل مبادرة "توطين" في القطاع الخاص" وتسلم الجائزة نيابة عن المجموعة السيد زهير الحاج، مدير الموارد البشرية والتوطين في الشرق الأوسط وشمال افريقيا، وقالعند استلام الجائزة "أنا فخور ويشرفني أن امثل مجموعة الفطيم والحصول على
هذه الجائزة المرموقة، التي تكرم الاستثمارات الكبيرة التي نقوم بها لتطوير المواهب الوطنية وتحويلهم إلى قادة المستقبل. فاجندتنا الداخلية المعنية بتطوير مواهب الموظفين وقدراتهم تركز على جذب أفضل المواهب الوطنية، لنساعدهم على الانخراط في العمل وتطوير انفسهم في مختلف المجالات بحيث تكون لديهم حياة مهنية طويلة وناجحة في مجموعتنا الكبيرة والمتنوعة. ونحن سعداء لرؤية نتنائج جهودنا وتأثيرها".
اقليميا، حصلت المؤسسة العامة القطرية للكهرباء والماء "كهرماء" على جائزة العام للموارد البشرية الرقمية، وتسلمت الجائزة بالنيابة عن المؤسسة السيدة نجلاء عادل، مديرة الموارد البشرية التي قالت " ان حصول "كهرماء" على هذه الجائزة دليل على كفاءتها كمؤسسة وتقديمها لأفضل الخدمات والممارسات الرقمية في مجال الموارد البشرية في المنطقة. خاصة واننا ملتزمون بتوفير أفضل الخدمات للعملاء من خلال استراتيجيات الموارد البشرية الفعالة والنظم والعمليات التجارية التي تسعى إلى تحقيق أهدافنا المؤسسية وتحقيق رؤية قطر 2030". المؤسسة العامة القطرية للكهرباء والماء هي المزود الوحيد للكهرباء والمياه في الدولة تحت إشراف وزارة الصناعة والطاقة، الدوحة - قطر.
السيد اكاش جاين، مدير عام شركة "كيو ان ايه انترناشونال" المنظمة لحفل الجوائز، علق على نجاح الحفل بالقول "ان حفل الجوائز الذي جاء بالتزامن مع القمة الحكومية للموارد البشرية السنوية الرابعة، اظهر الالتزامات والتطبيقات الموجودة بالفعل في مجالات الموارد البشرية في كل من القطاعين الحكومي والخاص، وبين الأفراد. وهذا الأساس الموجود والقوي يوفر ركائز مستقرة لوظائف الموارد البشرية التي يمكن أن يبنى عليها الكثير لتطوير القطاع في المنطقة. لذا يسعدنا ان نقدم التكريم والتقدير للأعمال المتميزة وان نقدم الحافز للشركات والمؤسسات لتطوير القطاع".

حفل الجوائز المرموق كان قد عقد في فندق قصر الإمارات في ابو ظبي، يوم 26 اكتوبر 2016.
