In line with the UAE’s initiatives to build smart and sustainable cities
November 21, 2016 – Imdaad, a leading provider of integrated facilities management solutions in the GCC, has launched the mobile version of its state-of-the-art technology Imtedaad during its participation at The Big 5 2016, the latest edition of the Middle East’s largest construction event being held at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Imdaad’s move is in response to the growing demand for access to business information and applications through mobile technologies as well as the increasing popularity of ‘third platform’ technologies.
A recent IDC report has stated that mobility shows the inter-dependencies between mobile computing, social media, cloud computing, big data, and possibly the Internet of Things (IoT), which has transformed how people and businesses relate to technology. To date, industry experts have forecasted that annual spending on mobility across the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa (META) region will reach USD 185 billion by 2019—reflecting a 10.2 per cent share of worldwide enterprise and consumer spending on mobile devices, software, and services, which is also expected to reach USD 1.8 trillion in 2019.

The launch comes at the height of the UAE’s rising mobile and smartphone penetration rates—complementing an eMarketer’s report showing the UAE’s 200 per cent mobile penetration and 74 per cent smartphone penetration rates. Imtedaad is an important building asset that intelligently analyzes performance trends of interconnected assets and correlates all essential data with the behavior of the building’s eco-system—producing more accurate recommendations and corrective actions to ensure a building’s optimized performance.
At The Big 5 2016, Imdaad will be showcasing Imtedaad’s state-of-the-art features, including cognitive computing platform, predictive maintenance capability, seamless machine-to-machine (M2M) communication, automatic corrective measures, real-time monitoring and tracking of assets, and energy management. The system has created positive impact on the region’s business landscape, leading to optimal workflow and productivity across the supply chain. The newly launched mobile version also seeks to meet the requirements of the UAE’s business sector amidst rapid adoption of ‘third platform’ technologies.

"إمداد" تطلق النسخة النقالة من نظام "امتداد" خلال مشاركتها في معرض "الخمسة الكبار 2016"
الإمارات، 21 نوفمبر - 2016أطلقت "إمداد"، الشركة الرائدة في مجال توفير الحلول المتكاملة لإدارة المرافق في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي، النسخة النقالة من تقنيتها المتطورة "امتداد"، وذلك خلال مشاركتها في معرض "الخمسة الكبار 2015" (The Big 5 2016)، الدورة الأحدث لأكبر معرض تجاري في مجال البناء والإنشاء في منطقة الشرق الأوسط والمقام في مركز دبي التجاري العالمي. وتأتي هذه الخطوة في إطار استجابة "إمداد" للطلب المتنامي على الوصول إلى معلومات وتطبيقات الأعمال من خلال التقنيات النقالة، بالإضافة إلى تزايد شعبية تقنيات "المنصة الثالثة".
وأشار تقرير صدر حديثاً عن شركة "آي. دي. سي" للأبحاث (IDC) إلى أن التقنية المتنقلة تظهر مدى الترابط بين الحوسبة النقالة والشبكات الاجتماعية والحوسبة السحابية والبيانات الضخمة وكذلك انترنت الأشياء (IoT)، وهو ما أحدث تحولاً في كيفية ارتباط الناس والشركات بالتكنولوجيا. وتوقع الخبراء المختصون أن يصل حجم الإنفاق السنوي على التقنية المتنقلة في مختلف أنحاء الشرق الأوسط وتركيا وأفريقيا إلى 185 مليار دولار بحلول العام 2019، وهو ما يعكس حصة نسبتها 10.2% من حجم إنفاق الشركات والمستهلكين حول العالم على الأجهزة النقالة والبرمجيات والخدمات والذي من المتوقع أيضاً أن يصل إلى 1.8 تريليون دولار بحلول العام 2019.

ويأتي إطلاق هذه النسخة من نظام "امتداد" في ذروة ارتفاع معدلات استخدام الهواتف المحمولة والأجهزة النقالة في دولة الإمارات، وهو ما يدعمه تقرير صادر عن "أي. ماركتر" (eMarketer) ويشير إلى ارتفاع بمعدل 200% في استخدام الأجهزة النقالة وزيادة بنسبة 74% في استخدام الهواتف الذكية في دولة الإمارات. ويعد نظام "امتداد" أحد المنصات المهمة ضمن قطاع الأبنية، حيث يعمل على تحليل اتجاهات الأصول المترابطة ويعمل على ربط كافة البيانات الأساسية مع سلوك منظومة المبنى، ما يتيح التوصل إلى مجموعة من التوصيات الدقيقة والإجراءات التصحيحية لضمان أفضل أداء للمبنى.
