- Careem announces special promotions to clients that use credit cards
- Users can choose between credit card, cash, and online credit options for payment
Cairo, June 23rd, 2016 -- Careem announced today that all Careem users can use credit cards issued by any bank in Egypt on their application. In addition, users that wish to use a credit payment options will receive a 50% discount on their rides, using a special promo code.
“We were aware that some banks had recently halted their credit card operations with Careem, and we were working closely with the authorities to understand the issue and resolve it as soon as possible,” says Hadeer Shalaby, Careem’s General Manager; “It was a temporary situation, and the issue has now been resolved. All credit card operations are up and running in the usual manner.”
To celebrate, Careem is has announced a special promotion for all credit-card users on the application. “We want to reward our credit-card users for their patience, and so in celebration of the good news, we’re giving them a special gift,” says Ahmed Youssef; “all our credit card holders have to do is select the credit card payment method, enter the promocode CashLess50, they’ll get 50% off their rides for the rest of the month.”
Careem also allows the alternative of paying for rides with cash, or to purchase credit directly into their account through the company website. “The comfort and satisfaction of our customers remains our top priority, and we will continue to work towards enhancing our customer's experience with Careem,” says Youssef.

القاهرة,23 يونيو 2016 - أعلنت شركة "كريم" اليوم لكافة المستخدمين انهم يستطيعون استخدام بطاقتهم الائتمانية الصادرة من اي بنك في مصر لاستخدام التطبيق؛بالاضافة الي ذلك فان المستخدم الذي يريد استخدام بطاقة الائتمان سوف يحصل علي 50% خصم لبقية الشرهر عند استخدامه الكود الخاص .
وصرحت "هدير شلبي" المدير العام لشركة كريم "اننا ندرك في الفترة الاخيرة ان بعض البنوك قد اوقفت التعامل علي بطاقات الائتمان الخاصة التي تتعامل مع شركة "كريم"؛وكنا نعمل بشكل دائم مع السلطات المعنية لفهم ابعاد هذه المشكلة وايجاد حل لها في أسرع وقت ممكن،وكانت هذه مشكلة مؤقتة تم حلها الان وكل بطاقات الائتمان الان تم اعادة تشغيلها ويمكن استخدامها بالطريقة المعتادة".
وفي فرصة للاحتفال بذلك ؛ اعلنت شركة "كريم" عن قيامها باعطاء عروض خاصة لمستخدمي بطاقات الائتمان ؛حيث قال "أحمد يوسف" مدير التسويق بشركة كريم "نريد ان نعطي عملاؤنا مكافأة علي صبرهم واحتفالا بهذا الخبر السار،وكل ما عليهم هو تحديد طريقة الدفع بالبطاقة الائتمانية وادخال الكود الخاص (CashLess50) سوف يحصلون بعدها علي خصم 50% علي رحلاتهم لبقية الشهر.
وقال أحمد ان "كريم" تتيح وسائل دفع اخري منهاالدفع النقدي أوالدفع عن طريق حسابات العملاء علي موقع الشركة ؛ونؤكد راحة عملاؤنا ورضاهم علي رأس اولوياتنا من أجل تزويد خبرة عملاؤنا مع شركة "كريم".
