Leading UAE-based business support services provider beefs up corporate structure to deliver on new strategic focus as headcount grows by 40%
UAE-based Transguard Group, one of the leading business support services providers in the region and a part of the Emirates Group has augmented its group executive team, to drive Transguard’s strategic customer centric focus and optimize its considerable operation.
“Transguard is growing at a phenomenal rate. Over the last 9 months our head count has increased by 40% to 42,000 employees and with our current financial year due to close at the end of March we are confident that our turnover will improve beyond the one billion dirhams we generated last year,” said Greg Ward, Managing Director, Transguard Group.
“To continue growing, it is imperative that we do not lose sight of our overall business strategy and our core aims and objectives. We need to become even more customer focused and we must optimise the quality of our operation and use our economies of scale to our competitive advantage.
“To achieve that it was necessary to bolster the group executive team, which will enable all divisions of the company, to have a dedicated member of the senior management team, offering solutions and providing direction,” added Ward.
One of the new faces in the senior management team is chief operating officer – managed services Stephen Beesley, an FM expert with more than 20 years’ experience. Beesley who has previously held senior management positions with Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, Johnson Controls and Barclays Bank, where he played an integral role in successfully delivering an award winning global IFM outsourcing solution. Beesly is responsible for leading the growth of the managed services division at Transguard and maintaining its market-leading position in single service excellence
A further addition to the team is Tim Mundell, who takes up the position of chief security officer and he brings a wealth of knowledge and focus particularly in the security services and technology space. Mundell attended the UK’s world-renowned Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst and served in the British Army as an infantry officer for 12 years.
Prior to his appointment with Transguard, Mundell held several senior management positions. Most recently he was director of C3 (Command/ Control/ Communications) managed services for Restrata, a UAE-based security systems integration company. Before that Mundell had held several key leadership and business development positions, including that of CEO for Sicuro Group, as well as positions within the high risk security services and risk management arenas.
Beesley and Mundell will join existing executives Tony Lloyd, chief financial officer; William Moroney, chief sales and marketing officer and Paul Everitt, chief operating officer- manpower services and report directly to Greg Ward, Transguard’s managing director.
“Tim and Stephen bring with them sound technical expertise as well as a wealth of experience, which will be essential as we develop our business still further throughout the region over the coming years,” said Ward.

دبي، 6 مارس 2016: كشفت "ترانس جارد جروب"، أحد أبرز مزودي خدمات دعم الأعمال التجارية في المنطقة، والشركة التابعة لمجموعة الإمارات، عن زيادة عدد فريق عملها التنفيذي لتعزيز استراتيجية الشركة، والارتقاء بخدمة العملاء، وتحسين الأعمال التشغيلية.
وأكد جريغ وارد، المدير التنفيذي لترانس جارد جروب، بأن الشركة حققت معدلات نمو كبيرة على صعيد الموظفين خلال الفترة الماضية. مشيراً لزيادة عدد العاملين بنسبة 40 بالمائة خلال الشهور التسعة الماضية ليصل إلى 42 ألف موظف. معرباً عن ثقته بأن عائدات الشركة سترتفع بحلول نهاية السنة المالية الحالية في نهاية مارس لتتجاوز عائدات العام الماضي البالغة مليار درهم.
وأضاف بأن الشركة تعمل على تحقيق النمو المستدام عبر المراقبة المستمرة والشاملة للاستراتيجية التشغيلية، والأهداف المؤسسية، والسعي نحو التركيز على العملاء وتحسين العمليات والميزات التنافسية. موضحاً بأن التعيينات الإدارية الجديدة ستعزز فريق العمل الإداري للشركة، وستعمل على توزيع أعضاء الإدارة العليا للإشراف على أقسام محددة لطرح الحلول وضمان التوجيه الأمثل لعمليات مختلف أقسام الشركة وتحقيق التميز في العمل.
وتشمل التعينات الإدارية الجديدة للشركة، تولي ستيفن بيسلي منصب المدير التنفيذي للعمليات لشؤون الخدمات المدارة، وتيم مانديل لمنصب المدير التنفيذي للأمن، حيث سينضم كل من بيسلي ومانديل لفريق الإدارة العليا الحالي المكون من توني لويد، المدير التنفيذي المالي، وويليام موروني، المدير التنفيذي للمبيعات والتسويق، وبول إيفيريت، المدير التنفيذي للعمليات لشؤون خدمات القوى العاملة.
وأشاد جريغ وارد، المدير التنفيذي لترانس جارد جروب، بالخبرات المميزة لكل من بيسلي ومانديل والإضافة الكبيرة التي سيقدمانها للشركة. مؤكداً أن التعينات الجديدة في فريق الإدارة العليا ستسهم في تعزيز أعمال الشركة محلياً وخارجياً، وستدعم خططها التوسعية في المنطقة خلال السنوات القادمة.
وشغل ستيفن بيسلي قبل تعيينه في "ترانس جارد جروب"، مناصب إدارية متعددة في جهاز أبوظبي للاستثمار، وشركة جونسون كنترول، وبنك باركليز. وهو خبير في إدارة المنشآت وتمتد مسيرته المهنية لأكثر من 20 عاماً. وستتضمن مسؤولياته الجديدة قيادة وتطوير قسم الخدمات المدارة، وتعزيز المكانة القيادية للشركة وتميز الخدمات.
بينما يتمتع تيم مانديل بمعرفة واسعة وخبرة كبيرة في مجال الخدمات الأمنية والتكنولوجيا، وهو خريج من الكلية العسكرية البريطانية المرموقة "ساندهيرست"، وخدم كضابط مشاة في الجيش البريطاني لمدة 12 عام. وقبل تعيينه في الشركة، شغل عدة مناصب إدارية كان آخرها منصب مدير الخدمات المدارة لشركة "ريستراتا"، والعمل سابقاً كمدير تنفيذي لشركة "سكيورو جروب"، بالإضافة لتولي مهام إدارية في مجالات متصلة بإدارة المخاطر، ومسؤوليات ضمن أجهزة أمنية معنية بالمخاطر العالية.
