Doha, Qatar, 3 March 2016: Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF) welcomed Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary Elizabeth of Denmark to Education City earlier today.
The Danish Royal enjoyed a tour of Qatar Academy as well as the new Qatar Foundation Headquarters, where she met with Her Excellency Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani, Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chairperson of Qatar Foundation.
The Crown Princess, who is in the country as part of a state visit, was introduced to Qatar Foundation through a comprehensive presentation detailing the organisation’s three pillars: Education, Science and Research, and Community Development.
During the visit, QF’s unique and comprehensive education cycle, which aims to engage students at every stage of their academic lives, was discussed in further detail, highlighting the Foundation’s overarching endeavour to unlock human potential.
After the presentation, Crown Princess Mary Elizabeth also learned more about Qatar Foundation’s master plan, including future expansion plans.
