4 October, 2015 Abu Dhabi, UAE: Emirates Classifications Society “Tasneef” just ticked off another item on its list of achievements by launching the Tasneef Academy website (www.tasneefacademy.com) for maritime training as part of its efforts to supply the local and Arab maritime community with specialized talent in the maritime sector. The website will also strengthen the capability of those working in such a vital sector to keep abreast with the latest scientific and technical developments the fields of safety, security, engineering specifications and sustainability standards; in addition to transferring the know-how on best practices in training maritime caliber.
An academic platform for specialized training courses
In this context, Eng. Rashid AlHebsi, CEO of Tasneef said, “We at Tasneef realize that the maritime industry cannot reach its desired strategic objectives without the launch of an academic platform capable of serving those working in the maritime sector with specialized training courses that updates them with the latest developments in the maritime industry and enhances their efficiency through the following main programs: Marine training, Management Systems training, Naval training and Health & Safety training.”
Continuous efforts to support the training sector
AlHebsi added, “Tasneef Academy for maritime training is considered the first specialized academy in the field of ship classification in the maritime sector in the UAE. The academy has a capacity of around 300-500 trainees and also organizes courses for ports inspectors in the subjects of international safety management and maritime security. Our vision is to enhance the competency of individuals in the fields of Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality by providing pioneering solutions in a rapidly changing world.”
On the achievements of Tasneef in the academic field AlHebsi said, “Last year we trained the first team of 7 individuals for a full. Our efforts will continue to support those working in the maritime sector academically through this academic edifice that we are proud to have built in the UAE. It is a quality addition to the UAE’s role locally, regionally and internationally in its efforts to strengthen the role of a sustainable economy for future generations.”
Four main pillars of maritime education
On his part Capt. Waleed Al Nahdi, Director of Tasneef Academy reviewed the courses on tasneefacademy.com. Al Nahdi concluded, “Tasneef Academy is what is needed in the context of supplying the maritime local and Arab community with the training courses necessary for developing the skills of those working in the maritime sector. Our academy also offers courses that developing investigatory skills in shipping accidents, and specialized courses in management systems, quality control, maritime training services, maritime projects management and the management of marine contracts; in addition to courses related to investigating shipping accidents, ballast water management, marine oil spills, readiness and response.”

4 أكتوبر 2015_ أبوظبي_ الإمارات العربية المتحدة: أضافت هيئة الإمارات للتصنيف "تصنيف" إنجازاً متميزاً جديداً باطلاق الموقع الإلكتروني الخاص بأكاديمية تصنيف للتدريب الملاحي والبحري (www.tasneefacademy.com) ، ضمن سعيها لتزويد المجتمع الملاحي المحلي والعربي بالكفاءات المتخصصة في قطاع الملاحة وتنميتها. وسوف يسهم ذلك بدوره في تعزيز قدرة العاملين في هذا القطاع لمواكبة أحدث التطورات العلمية والتقنية في قطاع حيوي يشهد بشكل مستمر متغيرات في قطاع الأمن والسلامة والمواصفات الهندسية ومعايير الاستدامة، بالإضافة إلى رفد المعرفة حول أفضل الممارسات الخاصة بتدريب الطواقم البحرية وتعزيز قدرتها على مواكبة مستجدات الصناعة البحرية.
منصة أكاديمية لبرامج تدريبية متخصصة
في هذا السياق صرح المهندس راشد الحبسي، الرئيس التنفيذي لتنصيف قائلاً" ندرك في تصنيف أنَّ الصناعة البحرية لايمكن أن تصل إلى أهدافها الاستراتيجية المرجوة من دون إطلاق منصة أكاديمية قادرة على خدمة الأفراد العاملين في القطاع الملاحي من خلال توفير دورات تدريبية متخصصة تجعلهم على اطلاعٍ دائم بآخر المستجدات التي تتعلق بصناعة الملاحة وتعزز من كفاءة العاملين في هذا القطاع من خلال برامج رئيسة تضم كلاً من برامج التدريب الملاحي ونظم الإدارة والتدريب البحري بالإضافة إلى دورات أخرى كالصحة والسلامة".
جهود حثيثة لدعم قطاع التدريب
وأضاف الحبسي" تعتبر أكاديمية تصنيف للتدريب في القطاع البحري أول أكاديمية متخصصة في قطاع تصنيف السفن والقطاعات المتصلة بها في دولة الإمارات، وتستوعب الأكاديمية حوالي 300 إلى 500 متدرب، وتقوم بتنظيم دورات لمفتشي الموانئ في إدارة السلامة الدولية، وإدارة الأمن البحري. حيث تكمن رؤيتنا في تعزيز كفاءة الأفراد العاملين في مجالات البيئة والصحة والسلامة والجودة عبر توفير حلول رائدة في عالم سريع التغير".
وعن إنجازات تصنيف في المجال الأكاديمي أضاف الحبسي" درَّبنا العام الماضي أول فريق من سبعة أفراد لمدة سنة كاملة. وستتواصل جهودنا في دعم العاملين في القطاع البحري أكاديمياً من خلال هذا الصرح الأكاديمي الذي نفخر بوجوده في دولة الإمارات في إضافة نوعية لدور الدولة محلياً وإقليمياً ودولياً ضمن مساعيها الحثيثة لتعزيز دور الاقتصاد المستدام من أجل مستقبل الأجيال القادمة".
أربعة محاور رئيسية للتعليم البحري
من ناحيته استعرض القبطان وليد النهدي، مدير أكاديمية تصنيف من خلال الموقع الإلكتروني الجديد (www.tasneefacademy.com) الدورات التي تقدمها الأكاديمية. واختتم النهدي " تمثل أكاديمية تصنيف خطوة متقدمة في إطار إمداد المجتمع الملاحي المحلي والعربي بالدورات التدريبية اللازمة لتنمية مهارات العاملين في القطاع الملاحي. حيث تقدم الأكاديمية دورات تشمل التدرب على تنمية مهارات التحقيق في حوادث الشحن، ودورات خاصة بنظم الإدارة ومراقبة الجودة وخدمات التدريب البحرية وإدارة المشاريع البحرية وإدارة العقود البحرية، بالإضافة إلى الدورات التي تتعلق بالتحقيق في حوادث الشحن، وإدارة مياه الصابورة، والتسرب النفطي البحري والتأهب والاستجابة".
