Riyadh: October 3, 2015 – Recent reports have revealed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) agriculture sector is witnessing tremendous growth and development over the past few years. A series of ongoing projects complement the expansion and enhancement of the local agriculture infrastructure with the use of most advanced technologies. In addition, the agriculture industry has supported the development of the human resources by organizing intensive training programs. Moreover, it has utilized the finest professional expertise to develop the local proficiencies and capabilities for the agriculture and livestock production sectors while integrating the work environment.
The KSA continues to boost its agricultural sector which has a great economic significance as a key pillar in achieving food security and taking the country to the new levels of self-sufficiency. Furthermore, the country plays a pivotal role in attracting foreign direct investments (FDIs) to support economic growth with its various sectors. Accordingly, the Saudi Agriculture – the 34th International Trade Exhibition for Agriculture, Water and Agro-Industry – kicks off on October 11, 2015 at the Riyadh International Convention Centre and will continue until October 14, 2015.
Organized by the Riyadh Exhibitions Company Ltd. (REC), Saudi Agriculture will be held under the patronage of the Saudi Ministry of Agriculture with Fakieh Poultry and Arabian Agricultural Services Company (ARASCO) as its diamond sponsors. The Middle East’s largest agricultural show is also supported by the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry as a strategic partner. The opening ceremony will be chaired by H.E. Abdullrahman Bin Abdullmohsen Al-Fadhli, the Minister of Agriculture, KSA in the presence of senior officials from the sector.
According to senior officials from REC, the current edition of Saudi Agriculture is expected to attract a noticeable number of visitors, including industry leaders, senior experts, global suppliers, manufacturers, project managers, traders, engineers, and researchers from the KSA, the region and the world. The event will act as a strategic platform for the exchange of experiences and knowledge among decision-makers, strengthening their bonds of cooperation and establishing strong partnerships between stakeholders from different countries. In addition, it will be a forum to review the latest products, equipment and related services for the agricultural sector as well as discuss the most prominent trends and developments in the global market in general and the Saudi Arabian market in particular.
توجهات جديدة لإدارة الموارد البشرية في القطاع الزراعي السعودي
الرياض، 3 أكتوبر 2015 - تشير التقارير المطّلعة إلى توقعات بأن يشهد القطاع الزراعي في المملكة العربية السعودية معدلات نمو عالية خلال السنوات القادمة، مدعوماً بمحفظة واسعة من الإنجازات النوعية والمشاريع قيد التنفيذ الرامية إلى تحسين البنية التحتية الزراعية وإعتماد أحدث التكنولوجيا المتطورة في المجال. ويرصد القطاع أيضاً توجهات جديدة في تنمية الموارد البشرية من خلال تنظيم البرامج التدريبية الشاملة وإستقدام أفضل الخبرات المهنية التي من شأنها أن تفتح آفاقا جديداً لتطوير المهارات والكفاءات المحلية في مجال الزراعة والإنتاج الحيواني وفي الوقت نفسه تعزيز المواءمة والتكامل ضمن بيئة العمل.
وتتواصل الجهود في المملكة العربية السعودية لدفع عجلة نمو قطاع الزراعة المحلي الذي يكتسب أهمية إقتصادية كبيرة بإعتباره يشكل ركيزة أساسية في تحقيق الأمن الغذائي والوصول إلى مستوى الإكتفاء الذاتي من المواد الغذائية في المملكة، فضلا عن دوره المحوري في جذب الإستثمارات الأجنبية المباشرة التي تدعم النمو الإقتصادي بمختلف مجالاته وأطيافه. وفي هذا السياق، تنطلق في الفترة من 11 إلى 14 أكتوبر الجاري في مركز الرياض الدولي للمؤتمرات والمعارض، فعاليات الدورة الرابعة والثلاثين من "المعرض الزراعي السعودي"، الحدث التجاري الأكبر من نوعه الموجه للقطاع الزراعي في منطقة الشرق الأوسط والذي تنظّمه شركة "معارض الرياض المحدودة" تحت رعاية وزارة الزراعة السعودية وبدعم من "مزارع فقيه للدواجن" وشركة "أراسكو" كراعيين ماسيين و"الغرفة التجارية الصناعية بالرياض" كشريك إستراتيجي. وسيترأس حفل الافتتاح معالي المهندس عبدالرحمن بن عبدالمحسن الفضلي، وزير الزراعة، بحضور نخبة من كبار المسؤولين والمعنيين بالقطاع.
ووفقاً لكبار المسؤولين في شركة "معارض الرياض المحدودة"، من المتوقّع أن تستقطب دورة العام من "المعرض الزراعي السعودي" عدداً قياسياً من الزوار من كبار أقطاب الصناعة والخبراء من موردين ومصنعين ومديري مشاريع وتجار ومهندسين وباحثين من المملكة العربية السعودية والمنطقة وسائر أنحاء العالم. وسيشكّل الحدث منصة إستراتيجية ممتازة لتبادل الخبرات والمعرفة بين صنّاع القرار وتعزيز أواصر التعاون والشراكات المتينة بين أصحاب المصالح من مختلف الدول، بالإضافة إلى إستعراض أحدث المنتجات والمعدات والخدمات ذات الصلة بالقطاع الزراعي والوقوف على أبرز الإتّجاهات والتطوّرات الحاصلة في السوق العالمية عموماً والسوق السعودية خصوصاً.
