SAR 20 billion earmarked for Agricultural Development Fund
September 15, 2015 - The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) has given tremendous importance to its agricultural sector, providing material support as well as extending financial aid to farmers to assist them in carrying out their projects through the Agricultural Development Fund. The fund has been critical to the development of the agricultural sector and the creation of environmental conditions conducive to agricultural work which have helped drive the growth and modernization of the country. For its agricultural successes, the KSA has emerged as a leading example for scholars, researchers and policy makers.
Accordingly, the Saudi Agriculture expo taking place from October 11 to 14, 2015 at the Riyadh International Convention Centre and Exhibition in conjunction with Saudi Agrofood 2015 will shed light on the sector’s challenges and find appropriate solutions.
The latest edition of the biggest event of its kind specializing in the field of agriculture in the Middle East, Saudi Agriculture 2015 will be held under the patronage and support of the KSA’s Ministry of Agriculture. The event is scheduled to be inaugurated by H.E. Abdul Rahman bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Fadhli, Saudi Minister of Agriculture.
In addition, the Saudi Agriculture and Saudi Food-Pack are supported and sponsored by Fakieh Poultry Farms, with Arasco as its Diamond Sponsors and the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry as a Strategic Partner.
The exhibition aims to bring together local companies and professionals from across the Middle East, Europe, the Americas and Asia under one roof to showcase the latest products, services and agricultural equipment. More than 350 exhibitors from across the region and the world and a group of local companies will participate in this event to highlight the latest developments and innovations in the agriculture sector.
It is also worth mentioning, that the KSA’s agricultural sector has contributed significantly in attaining food security and offering employment to many Saudi citizens. Moreover, it has emerged as an essential tool for developing many areas in the country.
دعم مادي للمزارعين وتسهيلات مالية تساعد في تنفيذ المشاريع الزراعية
20 مليار ريال قابلة للزيادة رأس مال صندوق التنمية الزراعية
15 سبتمبر 2015 – أولت المملكة العربية السعودية أهمية بالغة للقطاع الزراعي ووفرت له الدعم المادي وقدمت للمزارعين التسهيلات المالية التي تساعدهم في تنفيذ مشروعاتهم من خلال صندوق التنمية الزراعية. واستطاع الصندوق تحديد رؤيته للدور المناط به لتنمية وتطوير القطاع الزراعي وكذلك تهيئة الظروف البيئية المناسبة للعمل الزراعي للنمو والتحديث الذي وصلت معه المملكة إلى المستوى الذي أهلها لتقديم تجربة زراعية باتت محل عناية واهتمام الدارسين والباحثين وواضعي الخطط الزراعية.
ولتسليط الضوء على التحديات التي يواجهها القطاع وإيجاد الحلول المناسبة، ينطلق "المعرض الزراعي السعودي"، في الفترة من 28 ذو الحجة إلى 1 محرم المقبل (11 إلى 14 أكتوبر 2015م) في مركز الرياض الدولي للمؤتمرات والمعارض، وذلك بالتزامن مع فعاليات "المعرض السعودي للأغذية الزراعية 2015". ويعد "المعرض الزراعي السعودي" الحدث الأكبر من نوعه المتخصص في المجال الزراعي في منطقة الشرق الأوسط، حيث يقام تحت رعاية ودعم وزارة الزراعة السعودية.
كما يحظى "المعرض الزراعي السعودي" و"المعرض السعودي لتغليف الغذاء" برعاية كل من "مزارع فقيه للدواجن" وشركة "أراسكو" كراعيين ماسيين، بالإضافة إلى "الغرفة التجارية الصناعية بالرياض" كشريك إستراتيجي.
ويهدف المعرض إلى جمع الشركات المحلية والمتخصصين من مختلف أنحاء منطقة الشرق الأوسط وأوروبا والأمريكيتين وآسيا تحت سقف واحد لإستعراض أحدث المنتجات والخدمات والمعدات الزراعية. ومن المقرر أن يفتتح الحدث معالي المهندس عبدالرحمن بن عبدالمحسن الفضلي، وزير الزراعة السعودي، وذلك بمشاركة ما يزيد على 350 جهة عارضة من مختلف أنحاء المنطقة والعالم ونخبة من الشركات المحلية لتسليط الضوء على آخر التطورات والإبتكارات في المجال الزراعي.
وتجد الاشارة الى تحقيق القطاع الزراعي للكثير من الانجازات، حيث أسهم بشكل كبير في سد جزء مهم من الأمن الغذائي للمملكة وأصبح مجال عمل لكثير من المواطنين وأداة أساسية لتنمية كثير من المناطق في المملكة.
