Collaboration with UAE Government is part of commitment to skills development
RESTON, VA,/Abu Dhabi 3 September 2015 — Bechtel today announced an agreement with the Abu Dhabi Department of Municipal Affairs to launch an innovative training program involving engineers in Abu Dhabi.
Over the next ten years, up to 100 trainees from Abu Dhabi will be deployed at Bechtel projects for deployments of at least 12 months, with the aim of enhancing the practical and technical skills of Emirati engineers in building and construction areas. This new program continues Bechtel’s longstanding commitment to capacity building, skills training and development of local workforces on its projects around the world.

This innovative program will provide Emiratis with practical experience and training on projects, where they will work with our experts to enhance their knowledge of project delivery, business priorities, and leadership skills.”

The Emirate of Abu Dhabi has launched multiple education and skills development initiatives over the years to support its long-term economic sustainability. The Bechtel training program complements these efforts by offering Emirati engineers the opportunity to work on major infrastructure projects.

"بكتل" تعلن عن إطلاق برنامج تدريب مبتكر في منطقة الخليج
التعاون مع حكومة دولة الإمارات هو جزء من الالتزام بتطوير وتنمية المهارات
ريستون/أبوظبي 2015 – أعلنت شركة "بكتل" اليوم عن إبرام اتفاقية مع دائرة الشؤون البلدية في أبوظبي لإطلاق برنامج تدريب مبتكر يشمل المهندسين في أبوظبي.
وسيتم خلال السنوات العشرة القادمة تدريب 100 مهندساً من أبوظبي سيعملون في مشاريع "بكتل" حول العالم لمدة لا تقل عن 12 شهراً بهدف تحسين وتعزيز المهارات العملية والتقنية للمهندسين الإماراتيين في مجالي البناء والإنشاءات. ومن خلال هذا البرنامج الجديد تواصل "بكتل" التزامها الطويل بالإرتقاء بمستوى القدرات والتدريب على المهارات وتطوير القوى العاملة المحلية في المشاريع التي تنفذها الشركة حول العالم.

هذا وقد أطلقت إمارة أبوظبي على مدى السنوات الماضية مبادرات عديدة لدعم استدامة نموها الاقتصادي على المدى الطويل. ويأتي برنامج بكتل للتدريب ليستكمل هذه الجهود من خلال إعطاء المهندسين الإماراتيين الفرصة للعمل على بعض أهم وأضخم مشاريع البنية التحتية.
يذكر أن "بكتل" تعمل في منطقة الخليج منذ زمن طويل وقد شاركت على مرّ السنين في بعض أهم مشاريع البنى التحتية التي نفذت في المنطقة، بما في ذلك مشروع ميناء خليفة ومدينة خليفة الصناعية في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة ومطار حمد الدولي في قطر. وتعمل "بكتل" حالياً في عدة مشاريع كبرى للبنى التحتية تشمل مترو الرياض ومدينة الجبيل الصناعية فضلاً عن مدن اقتصادية ومناطق صناعية جديدة في المملكة العربية السعودية ومطار مسقط في سلطنة عُمان والطويلة للألمنيوم ومجمع بروج 3 للبتروكيماويات في أبوظبي في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة.
