The Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) held a press conference on August 2 at The Ajman Palace Hotel to announce the second Ajman Liwa Dates Festival that will take place from August 5 to 7, 2015 at Emirates Hospitality Center in Ajman. The festival is being organized by ATDD in collaboration with a special committee from Liwa Dates Festival to celebrate the harvest season of “Ratab”.
Ajman Liwa Dates Festival is aimed at boosting tourism in Ajman and presents a unique opportunity for residents and visitors to discover the many unique varieties of dates including Neghal, Khalass, Khenaizi, Fard, Lulu, and more. Taking part in the fair are a number of local farmers exhibiting the finest produce from their farms.
A mix of cultural festivities are also being organized on the sidelines of the event to showcase the rich culture, heritage and traditions of the UAE. Folk music and dance as well as traditional crafts and food will be on offer alongside a host of live cooking shows featuring chefs from top 5-star hotels in Ajman including The Ajman Palace Hotel.

عقدت دائرة التطوير السياحي في عجمان مؤتمرا صحفيا يوم 2 أغسطس في فندق القصر عجمان لتعلن إقامة مهرجان ليوا عجمان للرطب الثاني خلال الفترة من 5 إلى 7 أغسطس 2015 في مركز ضيافة الإمارات في عجمان. تنظم دائرة التطوير السياحي في عجمان المهرجان بالتعاون مع لجنة خاصة من مهرجان ليوا للرطب للإحتفال بموسم حصاد "الرطب".
