As of now, the MEYLE-HD brand supplies a technically enhanced control
arm to fit Alfa Romeo 159, 159 Sportwagon, Brera and Spider models
designed to outshine its OE rivals. To
increase part life, Wulf Gaertner Autoparts AG's engineers have
replaced the OE version's failure-prone rubber plain bearings with a
rubber component offering exceptional torsional resistance. Lasting
significantly longer than its OE rival the new MEYLE-HD part comes with a
full four-year warranty.
Based
in Hamburg, the company's team of in-house engineers have developed a
reinforced bushing design optimally geared to the high load levels
incurred during operation, thereby maximising control arm performance on
four Alfa Romeo models. Unlike their OE counterparts, the MEYLE-HD
bushings only use steel and high-grade natural rubber. FEM analysis has
confirmed a torsional loading case. By optimising part design and using a
torsion-resistant rubber compound the MEYLE-HD control arm guarantees
long service life and safe roadholding in any situation. The new product
range additions will enable independent repair professionals to provide
high-quality repairs relying on technically-enhanced control arms for
an ever growing number of vehicle applications.
As
with all products of the MEYLE-HD range, the new MEYLE-HD control arms
to fit Alfa Romeo 159, 159 Sportwagon, Brera and Spider models (MEYLE
ref.: 15-16 050 0014/HD and 15-16 050 0015/HD) also come with a full
four-year warranty.
