A new service to ease the process of visa application to residents of Jordan
As part of the global contract between VFS Global and the government of Norway, The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Amman, Jordan inaugurates a new centre to extend visa service delivery in Amman
The Norway Visa Application Centre in Amman was officially inaugurated today by HE Ms Sissel Breie (Ambassador of Norway to Jordan) This inauguration marks the opening of the first ever visa application centre in this city for the government of Norway.
Speaking on the occasion, the Ambassador said that the visa application center will be the main channel in Jordan for submitting applications for visas to Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland, as well as residence permits to Norway and Denmark for persons residing in Jordan and Iraq. “This is a major improvement in the processing of visas. We also expect that this will reduce the waiting times for those who still have to submit their applications at the Embassy”, Breie adds.
Adding to the welcome, Ms. Yummi Talwar- Regional Head Middle East, VFS Global said, “We are honoured to work with the government of Norway on a global level and aim to deliver an aligned and harmonised process cross all our centres. VFS Global is committed to the highest levels of customer experience offering an accessible and safe process that is seamless and convenient”.
This contract marks the extension of VFS Global’s relationship with Norway in Jordan as the company already serves the client globally with 53 VACs in 17 countries.

النرويج وفي أف أس جلوبال تقدم خدمات تسليم تأشيرة الدخول إلى عمان في الأردن
خدمة جديدة لتسير عملية طلب التأشيرة عل المقيمين في الأردن
في إطار العقد العالمي بين "في أف أس جلوبال" وحكومة النرويج، افتتحت السفارة الملكية النرويجية في عمان، الأردن مركزا جديدا لتقديم خدمة تسليم تأشيرة الدخول في عمان.
افتتحت سعادة سيسيل براي، سفير النرويج لدى الأردن، رسميا اليوم مركز طلب تأشيرات دخول النرويج في عمان. هذا هو أول مركز يقدم خدمة طلب تأشيرة الدخول لصالح حكومة النرويج في هذه المدينة.
وفي كلمتها بهذه المناسبة، قالت السفيرة إن مركز طلب تأشيرة الدخول سوف يكون القناة الرئيسية في الأردن لتقديم طلبات تأشيرة الدخول إلى النرويج، الدنمارك، فنلندا وأيسلندا، وكذلك تصاريح الإقامة في النرويج والدنمارك للأشخاص المقيمين في الأردن والعراق. وأضافت براي: "هذا تحسين مهم في معالجة التأشيرات. كما نتوقع أنه سوف يخفض أوقات الإنتظار لهؤلاء الذين لا يزال يتعين عليهم تقديم طلباتهم إلى السفارة".
وفي إضافتها إلى الترحيب، قالت يامي تالوور – المسئولة الإقليمية عن الشرق الأوسط، "في أف أس جلوبال"،: يشرفنا العمل مع حكومة النرويج على مستوى عالمي لتقديم عملية متسقة وملائمة لمعالجة التأشيرات في كافة مراكزنا. في أف أس جلوبال ملتزمة بتوفير أعلى مستويات الخدمة للعميل لتمنحه عملية يسهل الوصول إليها وآمنة وتتميز كذلك بالبساطة والملاءمة".
