6 Million pounds in-kind donation from“Huawei” granted to the “labor force” under the supervision of the Ministry of Telecommunication and Information Technology
[Cairo, Egypt, June 24th, 2015]: Prime Minister Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab witnessed the signing of the Tripartite Memorandum of Understanding between the Minister of Manpower and Immigration Doc. Nahed El-Ashryand the Minister of Communications and Information Technology Eng. Khaled Negm with Huawei Technologies Egypt, which was represented by Chief Executive, Yang Tao, under the recent progress of modern techniques worth six million Egyptian pounds. Mahlab praised the role of Huawei for their continued efforts in the ICT industry and sustained cooperation by supporting the development of public services and Digital Government ".
El-Ashry stated, “Huawei will be presented to the ministry under the in-kind grant not listed with the Ministry Information Center’s latest technology, which will be substituted and renewed with the latest high-tech, as well as the training of engineers to use modern devices through the cooperation and contributions of the company, at the level of technology provided and used globally in line with the new requirements of this century and the transfer of expertise to Egypt, which will in turn benefit the economy and the Egyptians.”
El-Ashry further said that according to the agreement, installing new devices will begin over the next five months so that the actual operation of the Ministry’s Information Center takes place at the end of this year. After the center’s technology is substituted with the newer version, the center can provide the highest level of service to all citizens dealing with the ministry.
Minister of Communications and Information Technology engineer Khaled Negm, stressed that Huawei Technologies is one of their most strategic partners in this sector’s development and upgrading, which has become a key engine component in the Egyptian economy in recent years, praising the cooperation with the company in many other projects that have been successful.
For his part, "Huawei Technologies" Chief Executive said that his company is interested in integrating and interacting with the communities in which they operate, pointing out that the cooperation with the "labor force" came to offer the latest hardware needed to achieve comprehensive and sustainable development in the economy, the community and the environment.
The cooperation between the Ministry of Communications and the Information Technology comes as a consultant "workforce" with Huawei, a current world leader in the field of information and communication technology.

القاهرة، مصر. 24 يونيو 2015. شهد المهندس إبراهيم محلب رئيس مجلس الوزراء توقيع مذكرة تفاهم بين الدكتورة ناهد عشري وزيرة القوي العاملة والهجرة ، والمهندس خالد نجم وزير الاتصالات وتكنولوجيا المعلومات، مع شركة هواوي للتكنولوجيا مصر ويمثلها يانج تاو الرئيس التنفيذى، وبموجبها تقدم الأخيرة تقنيات حديثة قيمتها 6 ملايين جنيه. واشاد محلب بدور هواوى على مساهمتهم المستمرة فى صناعة تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات والاهتمام والتعاون المستدام بدعمها لتطوير الخدمات العامة والحكومية بالتكنولوجيا الرقمية.
وقالت وزيرة القوى العاملة: "إن "هواوي" ستقدم للوزارة بموجب الاتفاق منحة عينية لا ترد بأحدث التقنيات لمركز معلومات الوزارة لإحلاله وتجديده بأحدث تقنية عالية، فضلًا عن تدريب المهندسين على استخدام الأجهزة الحديثة"، مشيدة بالتعاون وإسهامات الشركة، ومستوي التكنولوجيا المقدمة والمستخدمة عالميًا بما يتماشى مع متطلبات العصر الجديد، بنقل خبراتها إلى مصر بما يعود على الاقتصاد والمصريين بالنفع.
وأضافت الوزيرة أنه وفقًا للاتفاق سيتم البدء في تركيب الأجهزة الجديدة خلال الشهور الخمسة المقبلة، بحيث يتم التشغيل الفعلى لمركز معلومات الوزارة في نهاية العام الجاري، معربة عن أملها في أن يقوم المركز بعد إحلاله بالتكنولوجيا الحديثة بتقديم أعلى مستوى من الخدمة للمواطنين المتعاملين مع الوزارة.
وأكد وزير الاتصالات وتكنولوجيا المعلومات، أن شركة هواوي من أهم شركائنا الاستراتيجيين للنهوض والارتقاء بهذا القطاع الذي يمثل عنصرًا أساسيًا محركًا للاقتصاد المصري في الآونة الأخيرة، مشيدًا بالتعاون مع الشركة في كثير من المشاريع الأخرى التي حققت نجاحًا.
ومن جانبه قال الرئيس التنفيذي لـ"هواوى للتكنولوجيا": "إن شركته تهتم بالاندماج والتفاعل مع المجتمعات التى تعمل بها"، مشيرًا إلى أن التعاون مع "القوى العاملة" جاء ليقدم أحدث الأجهزة بما يحقق التنمية الشاملة والمستدامة للاقتصاد والمجمتع والبيئة.
