New achievement for world’s first-of-its-kind judicial-based ‘smart app’
UAE, June 13, 2015 - Dubai Courts has won .GOV Award’s ‘2015 Government Application of the Year’ for its ‘Smart Application,’ which is the world's first-of-its-kind judicial-based smart services app. Abdulrahim Ahmad Almudhareb, Director of Dubai Court’s IT Department received the award in a special ceremony held recently at Dubai’s Jumeirah Emirates Towers in the presence of a group of decision makers, senior government officials, and business leaders. This recognition complements the achievements of Smart App in consolidating smart processes, seamlessly managing all kinds of cases with the highest standards of promptness and efficiency, and enhancing the courts’ smart services portfolio of over 110 services.
Almudhareb explained that the success of the Smart App is the result of tireless efforts and hard work done by Dubai Courts to develop new applications to provide smart and reliable services that meet clients’ requirements. The service is designed to ensure happiness and well-being of the community in line with the goals of “Dubai Plan 2021”, aiming to build an innovative smart government that meets the needs of the future. He said that the application has achieved tangible and positive results in terms of supporting the plans of Dubai Courts to transform the legal and judicial services to 100 per cent smart services by the end of 2015. Almudhareb pointed out that this is an important milestone in the smart transformation and embodies the vision and directives of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
Dubai Courts’ ‘Smart App’ has won recently a number of prestigious awards, including ‘Smart Government Shield’ award in Kuwait for the UAE’s Best Smart App. Smart App is a proactive step in providing Dubai Courts’ highly interactive legal and judicial cases to all concerned parties such as external customers, internal auditors, secretaries, execution officials and judges.
.GOV Awards were launched to highlight the remarkable progress made by the Gulf region in transformation toward smart government model, encouraging the implementation of information and technology (IT) in improving the quality of life. The current edition of .GOV Awards focuses on the achievements of Dubai and the Northern Emirates’ government departments. The award ceremony has attracted an extensive attendance of the leading government figures, key decision-makers, and experts in IT and smart transformation.

"محاكم دبي" تحصد جائزة ".GOV" لأفضل تطبيق حكومي لعام 2015
الامارات، 13 يونيو، 2015 - حازت "محاكم دبي" على جائزة "أفضل تطبيق حكومي للعام 2015" من مجلة ".GOV"، تقديراً لتميز "التطبيق الذكي" الذي يعد الأوّل من نوعه ضمن القطاعين الحكومي والقضائي في العالم. وتسلّم الجائزة عبدالرحيم أحمد المضرب، مدير إدارة تقنية المعلومات، خلال حفل خاص أقيم مؤخراً في "فندق جميرا أبراج الإمارات" بحضور نخبة من صنّاع القرار وكبار الشخصيات الحكومية وروّاد الأعمال. ويأتي التكريم استكمالاً للإنجازات التي حققها "التطبيق الذكي" على صعيد ترسيخ مبدأ العمليات الذكية في إدارة طلبات القضايا بأنواعها بسرعة وسهولة وكفاءة تامة، وتعزيز محفظة المحاكم من الخدمات الذكية التي يصل عددها حالياً إلى 110 خدمات.
وأوضح عبدالرحيم أحمد المضرب بأنّ نجاح "التطبيق الذكي" يمثل ثمرة الجهود الحثيثة والعمل الجاد الذي قامت به "محاكم دبي" في سبيل تطوير تطبيقات حديثة لتوفير خدمات ذكية وموثوقة من شأنها تيسير أمور المتعاملين وتحقيق السعادة والرفاهية للمجتمع، بما يصب في خدمة غايات "خطة دبي 2021" في بناء حكومة ذكية سبّاقة ومبدعة تلبي احتياجات المستقبل. ولفت المضرب إلى أنّ التطبيق حقق نتائج إيجابية ملموسة على صعيد دعم خطط "محاكم دبي" الرامية إلى تحويل خدماتها القانونية والقضائية ذكية بنسبة 100% بحلول نهاية العام الجاري، مشيراً إلى أنّه يمثل إضافة هامة لدفع عجلة التحوّل الذكي، تجسيداً لرؤية وتوجيهات صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، نائب رئيس الدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي "رعاه الله".
ويجدر الذكر بأنّ التطبيق الذكي لـ "محاكم دبي" حاز مؤخراً على العديد من الجوائز المرموقة، بما فيها جائزة "درع الحكومة الذكية" في الكويت باعتباره أفضل تطبيق ذكي على مستوى دولة الإمارات. ويتميز التطبيق الذكي بأنه خطوة سبّاقة على صعيد توفير خدمة قانونية وقضائية ذكية وتفاعلية، حيث يهدف إلى معالجة طلبات القضايا المسجّلة لدى "محاكم دبي" بكفاءة وموثوقية عالية لخدمة جميع الأطراف المعنية من المتعاملين الخارجيين والمدقققين الداخليين والقضاة وأمناء السر ومأموري التنفيذ.
وتم إطلاق جائزة ".GOV" في سبيل تسليط الضوء على التقدّم اللافت الذي تحرزه منطقة الخليج العربي في مجال التحوّل نحو نموذج الحكومة الذكية وتشجيع توظيف تكنولوجيا المعلومات بالشكل الأمثل في تحسين جودة الحياة. وتمحور تركيز الدورة الحالية من الجائزة حول إنجازات الدوائر الحكومية لإمارة دبي والإمارات الشمالية. كما استقطبت حضوراً واسعاً من أبرز الشخصيات الحكومية وصناع القرار والخبراء البارزين في تكنولوجيا المعلومات والتحول الذكي.
