Dubai, 28th May 2015 – Gemalto (Euronext NL0000400653), the world leader in digital security, announces the inauguration of a state-of-the-art Center of Excellence for the Royal Oman Police (ROP), dedicated to knowledge transfer and best practices sharing. Located on ROP premises, the center is designed to train ROP staff on technologies and issuance processes associated to eIDs and ePassports for the Sultanate’s citizens.
The center is equipped with the latest Gemalto technology and back-end systems needed to issue both documents. Gemalto will train ROP trainers who will pass the knowledge to their front-desk personnel.

جيمالتو تفتتح مركزاً لتدريب الموظفين العمانيين على إصدار الوثائق التعريفية الآمنة
دبي، 28 مايو 2015 – أعلنت جيمالتو (المدرجة في بورصة “يورونكست” تحت الرمز: NL0000400653 GTO)، الشركة الرائدة عالمياً في مجال الأمن الرقمي عن افتتاح مركز تميز متطور لدى شرطة عمان السلطانية مخصصة لنقل المعرفة ومشاركة أفضل الممارسات، وقد تم تصميم هذا المركز الذي يقع ضمن مكاتب شرطة عمان السلطانية من أجل تدريب العاملين في الشرطة على التقنيات وعمليات الإصدار الخاصة بالهويات الإلكترونية وجوازات السفر الإلكترونية للمواطنين العمانيين.
وقد تم تجهيز المركز بأحدث تقنيات وأنظمة الواجهة الخلفية لإصدار هاتين الوثيقتين، وسوف تقوم جيمالتو بتدريب المدربين من شرطة عمان السلطانية والذين سينقلون المعرفة إلى العاملين في المكاتب الأمامية.
وقال اللواء سليمان بن محمد الحارثي مساعد المفتش العام لشرطة عمان السلطانية: "لقد قدمت لنا جيمالتو الدعم بشكل دائم وعبر سنوات طويلة بصفتها إحدى الشركات الرائدة في المنطقة خاصةً في مجال البرامج الحكومية، بالإضافة إلى إمكانياتها في توفير بنية تحتية لإدارة الوثائق مما يمكننا من تقديم تجربة فريدة لمواطنينا."
