Launched Under the Auspices of Minister of Communication Issa Al-Kandari on October 20 to 21, 2015
The General
Manager of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Engineer Yousef
Sulaiman Al-Fawzan, announced the commencement of preparations for the
launch of Emerging Airports Conference and the accompanying exhibition
(EACE) – Kuwait 2015 in its fifth session, under the auspices of
Minister of Communication and Minister of State for Municipal Affairs
Issa Al-Kandari, which will be held on October 20 to 21
at Regency Hotel in Kuwait, organized and managed by ExpoTag for
Organizing Exhibitions and Conferences Co. from Kuwait and "Babylon
International" from UAE.
On this
occasion, Al-Fawzan said in a press release that the conference and the
accompanying exhibition shall include more than 60 leading international
company from 22 countries; adding that they will display their latest
technologies, innovations, and products in front of over 1500
individuals and over 25 regional aviation authorities.
Al-Fawzan
expressed his appreciation for all the sincere efforts supporting this
prestigious event which shall greatly contribute to and enhance the
Kuwaiti economy, pointing out that the Directorate General of Civil
Aviation, with the effort of the Chairman Fawaz Abd elaziz Al-Farah and
all the departments, support this event and affirm their keenness to its
success.
Al-Fawzan
emphasized the importance of such events in addressing the expansions
planned by Kuwait International Airport and Kuwait Airlines to
strengthen its fleet in terms of the demand for aircrafts, estimated at $
6 billion.
He also
stated that the fifth annual session of this event gains its importance
from the existence of airport projects worth $ 50 billion in Kuwait,
KSA, Bahrain, Iraq, UAE, and other airports in the Middle East, Africa,
and the Indian sub-continent.
Al-Fawzan
explained that the EACE 2015 will offer presentations on the
modernization of airports through increase of capacity of passengers,
cargo and cargo handling; in addition, it will set up the Kuwait
International Airport development project as a standard in the region by
discussing the latest challenges and the expansion works.
Moreover,
the conference will discuss the coordination in the airspace in the
region through partnership and cooperation between the parties concerned
with aviation, plus the coping with the growing demand for aviation in
the Kingdom of Bahrain and considering the Bahrain International Airport
as an emerging international corridor, and meeting the expectations of
airline companies.
In addition,
Al-Fawzan said the conference shall also discuss the possibility of
moving luggage from one point to another at the same speed on passengers
travel; as well as the central passenger terminal project at Abu Dhabi
Airport Company. The conference will also present the master plan for
"Abuja Aertroboles" where it will discuss the construction,operation,and
BOT opportunities, and the public and private sector partnership (PPP).
He pointed
out that the exhibition will provide presentations on the increase of
revenues generation operations in airports, and the development of
successful retail sale facilities at airports, and cargo handling
through attracting the best airlines and increase yield.
Furthermore,
the conference take an overview on the main outline of the new Khartoum
International Airport, and will address the plan to expand the existing
airports in India and the creation of 200 new airports in India in
order to meet the growing demand.
Al-Fawzan
said the conference will shed the light on the air traffic management
system in the Middle East in terms of showing current and future
opportunities.
Adding that
the massive airport projects in Turkey and providing world-class
services to tourism market in developing countries, as well as a summary
of existing and future projects in Malaysia, Pakistan, Bangladesh,
Saudi Arabia and other participating airports will be addressed.
He noted
that Emerging Airports Conference and Exhibition for 2015 will include
senior decision-makers in the major projects and plans and the
development and expansion in more than 15 emerging airport market, as
well as featuring civil aviation bodies, airport companies, project
consultants, and contractors, in order to enable participants to display
their capabilities and their potential for them and add their companies
names in the lists of their suppliers.
Additionally,
the exhibition provides the opportunity to view the latest technologies
and airport equipments to accomplish the highest standards of airports
industry, offered by manufacturers, owners of warehouses and regional
representatives, agents and suppliers. Al-Fawzan pointed out that the
exhibition will be attended by delegates of airline companies, ground
services, providers of air traffic control services, Atmospheric
Administration, maintenance, repair and modification of aircrafts (MRO),
fixed bases operators (FBO), airport operations, airport management,
and airports construction, and contractors of mechanic, electricity,
and plumbing works, plus finance, insurance, and supporting industries
representatives.
In addition,
a distinctive group of experts in the industry will discuss the
challenges and opportunities faced by the aviation and airports
industry.

ينطلق تحت رعاية معالي وزير المواصلات عيسى الكندري يومي 20-21 أكتوبر المقبل
- الفوزان: هذا الحدث يكتسب أهميته في ظل واقع يحتوي مشروعات مطارات قائمة تبلغ
قيمتها 50 مليار دولار
أعلن
المدير العام للإدارة العامة للطيران المدني، المهندس يوسف سليمان الفوزان،
عن بدء الاستعدادات لافتتاح مؤتمر توسعة المطارات والمعرض المصاحب له في
دورته الخامسة (EACE)- الكويت 2015،
تحت رعاية معالي وزير المواصلات ووزير الدولة لشؤون البلدية عيسى
الكندري، والذي سيعقد يومي 20- 21 من أكتوبر المقبل بفندق الريجينسي بدولة
الكويت، بتنظيم وادارة من شركة "اكسبو تاج" لتنظيم المعارض و المؤتمرات
من الكويت وشركة "بيبلون" من الامارات العربية المتحدة.
وبهذه
المناسبة، قال الفوزان، في تصريح صحافي، أن المؤتمر والمعرض المصاحب له،
سيضم أكثر من 60 شركة عالمية رائدة من 22 دولة مشيرا إلى أنهم سيقومون
بعرض أحدث التقنيات، والإبداعات والمنتجات الخاصة بهم أمام أكثر من 1500
شخصية من الحضور وما يزيد عن 25 هيئة طيران إقليمية مختصة.
وأعرب
الفوزان، عن سعادته وتقديره لكل الجهود المبذولة والمخلصة الداعمة لهذا
الحدث المرموق والذي من شأنه أن يسهم ويعزز بشكل كبير الاقتصاد الكويتي،
لافتا إلى أن الادارة العامة للطيران المدني وبجهود رئيس الإدارة العامة
للطيران المدني السيد فواز عبد العزيز الفرح وكافة الادارات يدعمون هذا
الحدث ويؤكدون حرصهم على نجاحه.
وأكد
الفوزان أهمية مثل هذه الأحدات التي يتم تنظيمها لتعالج التوسعيات التي
يخطط لها مطار الكويت الدولي والخطوط الجوية الكويتية لتعزيز قوة أسطولها
الجوي من حيث الطلب على الطائرات، والتي تقدر بـ 6 مليارات دولار.
وأشار
إلى أن النسخة السنوية الخامسة من هذا الحدث تكتسب أهميتها في ظل واقع
يحتوي مشروعات مطارات قائمة تبلغ قيمتها 50 مليار دولار في كل من الكويت
والسعودية والبحرين والعراق والإمارات وفي المطارات الأخرى بالشرق الأوسط
وشبه القارة الهندية وإفريقيا.
وبين الفوزان، أن مؤتمر (EACE 2015)
سيطرح عروضا تقديمية عن تحديث المطارات عن طريق زيادة سعة الركاب والبضائع
وتداول البضائع، كما سيقوم بوضع مشروع تطوير مطار الكويت الدولي كمعيار في
المنطقة حيث سيتطرق إلى التحديات الأخيرة وأعمال التوسيع.
كما
سيعرض المؤتمر التنسيق في المجال الجوي بالمنطقة من خلال الشراكة والتعاون
بين الأطراف المعنية بالطيران، إضافة لمواكبة الطلب المتزايد على الطيران
في مملكة البحرين واعتبار مطار البحرين الدولي ممرا دوليا ناشئا، وتلبية
توقعات شركات الخطوط الجوية.
وأفاد
الفوزان، بأن المؤتمر سيعرض كذلك إمكانية تحرك الحقائب من نقطة إلى نقطة
بنفس سرعة انتقال المسافرين، فضلا عن مشروع محطة الركاب الوسطى في شركة
مطار أبوظبي، كما سيطرح المؤتمر الخطة الرئيسية لـ"أبوجا ايرتروبوليس" حيث
سيناقش فيها فرص التشييد والتشغيل ونقل الملكية (BOT) وشراكة القطاع العام والخاص (PPP).
وبين
أن المعرض سيقدم عروضا عن زيادة عمليات توليد عوائد المطارات، وتطوير مرافق
بيع التجزئة الناحجة بالمطارات، وتداول البضائع بجذب أفضل شركات الخطوط
الجوية وزيادة العائد.
كما
سيلقي المؤتمر نظرة عامة على المخطط الرئيسي لمطار الخرطوم الدولي الجديدة،
كما سيتطرق لخطة توسيع المطارات الحالية في الهند وإنشاء 200 مطارا جديدا
في الهند من أجل تلبية الطلب المتنامي.
وأشار
الفوزان الى انه سيتم القاء الضوء على نظام إدارة الحركة الجوية في الشرق
الأوسط من حيث الاطلاع على الفرص الراهنة والمستقبلية.
وأضاف
انه سيتم التطرق الى مشروعات المطارات الضخمة في تركيا وتقديم الخدمات
بمستوى عالمي لسوق السياحة في الدول النامية، إضافة إلى ملخص للمشروعات
القائمة والمستقبلية في كل من ماليزيا وباكستان وبنغلاديش والسعودية
وللمطارات الأخرى المشاركة.
ولفت
الى مؤتمر ومعرض توسعة المطارات لعام 2015 سيضم كبار صناع القرار في
المشروعات والمخططات الرئيسية والتطوير والتوسيع في أكثر من 15 سوق مطار
ناشئ ، كما سيضم هيئات الطيران المدني، وشركات المطارات، واستشاريي
المشروعات والمقاولين وذلك ليتمكن المشاركون من عرض قدراتهم وامكاناتهم
عليهم واضافة أسماء شركاتهم في قوائم مورديهم.
كما
يتيح المعرض فرصة الاطلاع على احدث تقنيات ومعدات المطارات لتحقيق أعلى
معايير صناعة المطارات، من مصنعين وأصحاب المخازن والمندوبين الاقليميين
والوكلاء والموردين، لافتا الى المعرض سيحضره مندوبين من شركات الخطوط
الجوية، والخدمات الأرضية، ومقدمي خدمات المراقبة الجوية والإدارة الجوية،
وصيانة وإصلاح وتعديل الطائرات (MRO)، ومشغلي القواعد الثابتة (FBO)،
وعمليات المطارات، وإدارة المطارات، وإنشاء المطارات، ومقاولي أعمال
الميكانيكا والكهرباء والسمكرة، والتمويل، والتأمين، والصناعات المساعدة.
و هناك مجموعة مميزة من الخبراء في هذا الصناعة ستقوم بمناقشة التحديات والفرص التي تواجه صناعة المطارات والطيران.
