ENEC received the confirmation as part of PAS 99:2012
Abu Dhabi, UAE - The Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) recently received six international ISO re-certifications from Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety services including a full range of business process audit and support services to a wide range of industries around the world.
ENEC underwent rigorous, impartial, comprehensive auditing and assessment by Intertek auditors to ensure that its operations conform to international standards.
The corporation's existing programmes for managing its nuclear projects and its integrated management system were assessed by Intertek in order to award the following certifications; Quality Management System with ISO 9001:2008, Environmental Management System with ISO 14001:2004, Occupational Health and Safety Management System with OHSAS 18001:2007, IT Service Management with ISO 20000:2005, Information Security Management System with ISO 27001:2013 and finally Business Continuity Management System with ISO 22301:2012, as part of PAS 99:2012, ‘Specification of common management system requirement.’
By gaining these re-certifications, the Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation continues its drive towards excellence focused on achieving quality, ensuring that the corporation's systems are comprehensive, systematic, planned and documented, as well as maintaining its policies for environmental protection.
These re-certifications assure that the corporation controls occupational health and safety risks. It also ensures that its Information Technology infrastructure conforms to standards to better manage, secure and protect data, while driving operational excellence.
A detailed risk assessment was undertaken and the corporation's framework was evaluated for the efficiency of its technical infrastructure. Its external services were also tested to ensure confidentiality, integrity, secure exchange of data and availability of critical information. The corporation’s business continuity framework ensures it has control over risks of exposure to internal and external threats.

مؤسسة الإمارات للطاقة النووية تنال ست شهادات ISO من "إنترتك"
حصلت المؤسسة على الشهادات ضمن مواصفات PAS 99:2012
أبوظبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة: جدّدت مؤسسة الإمارات للطاقة النووية ست شهادات ISO من "إنترتك"، التي تعدّ شركة رائدة في خدمات الجودة والسلامة ومجموعة من إجراءات مراجعة الأعمال وخدمات الدعم لقطاعات كثيرة متنوعة حول العالم. وخضعت المؤسسة لإجراءات تدقيقية وتقييمية صارمة وموضوعية وشاملة من مدققي "إنترتك" لضمان إيفاء عملياتها بالمعايير العالمية.
وتولّت "إنترتك" تقييم برامج المؤسسة المعتمدة حاليًا لإدارة مشاريعها ونظام الإدارة المتكامل فيها قبل أن تمنحها الشهادات التالية: شهادة (ISO 9001:2008) لنظام إدارة الجودة، شهادة (ISO 14001:2004) لنظام الإدارة البيئية، شهادة (OHSAS 18001:2007) لنظام الصحة المهنية وإدارة السلامة، شهادة (ISO 20000:2005) لإدارة خدمة تقنية المعلومات، شهادة (ISO 27001:2013) لنظام إدارة أمن المعلومات، شهادة (ISO 22301:2012) لنظام إدارة استمرارية الأعمال وذلك ضمن مواصفات (PAS 99:2012) لمتطلبات إدارة النظم الاعتيادية.
وبعد تجديد هذه الشهادات، ستواصل مؤسسة الإمارات للطاقة النووية سعيها نحو التميّز، فاهتمامها ينصبّ على تحقيق الجودة والتأكد من أن نظم المؤسسة تتسم بالشمولية والمنهجية وتنتهج خططًا موضوعة مع توثيق كل النظم والحفاظ على سياساتها لحماية البيئة.
ستضمن هذه الشهادات أن المؤسسة تراقب الصحة المهنية ومخاطر السلامة فيها، وأن البنية الخاصة بتقنية المعلومات لديها تتوافق مع المعايير المطبقة لإدارة وحماية البيانات في حين تعمل على تحقيق التميّز التشغيلي.
وقد أجري تقييم مفصَّل للمخاطر وللإطار الهيكلي للمؤسسة للتأكد من كفاءة بنيتها التقنية، وأُجريت أيضًا اختبارات لخدماتها الخارجية لضمان السرية والنزاهة والتبادل الآمن للبيانات وتوافر المعلومات الحساسة. ويضمن نظام استمرارية الأعمال المتبع في المؤسسة التحكم بمخاطر التهديدات الداخلية والخارجية.
وصرح حسين الأطرقجي، المدير التنفيذي الإقليمي في "إنترتك" لمنطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا وباكستان: "إن تجديدها لهذه الشهادات في كافة عملياتها وإداراتها يعتبر بمثابة إنجاز عظيم بالنسبة لمؤسسة الإمارات للطاقة النووية وهو إنجاز يعكس حرصها كمؤسسة حكومية على إدارة عمليات تشغيل عالمية المستوى في كل أعمالها."
من جانبه، قال سعادة المهندس محمد إبراهيم الحمادي، الرئيس التنفيذي لمؤسسة الإمارات للطاقة النووية: "إن تجديد هذه الشهادات العالمية المعتمدة يعكس التزامنا بتطبيق أعلى المعايير العالمية في مجال السلامة والجودة وإدارة المخاطر، فالإجراءات المؤسسية الصارمة تعتبر ضرورية في سعينا إلى توفير طاقة نووية آمنة وفعالة وموثوقة وصديقة للبيئة لدولة الإمارات بحلول عام 2017."
