Cairo, Egypt, 9 April 2015 - City Centre Alexandria was the starting point for Members of Alexandria Scooter Riders Club (ASRC) as they took off to participate at Biker Zone Expo & Show, which took place from 5-7 March 2015. ASRC is a nonprofit initiative founded in July 2011 by a team of devoted Alexandrians who decided to use and promote the use of scooters as an alternative method of transportation.
Owned and managed by Majid Al Futtaim, the leading retail and leisure pioneer across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), City Centre Alexandria has been an enthusiastic sponsor of ASRC for three years, supporting their yearlong activities that promote environmental friendly means of transportation that alleviates traffic congestion in the city.

Moreover, City Centre Alexandria recently announced the completion of its new phase, the Leisure Precinct, with total investments of EGP70 million. The Leisure Precinct spans over 12,000 m2 including 11 food court outlets and four restaurants with separate seating areas, in addition to a new shops area with 23 retail units to add more unique outlets to the mall’s portfolio. Moreover, the expanded Leisure Precinct accommodates around 800 customers in the food court area and an additional 900 customers in the seating areas of the four new restaurants to allow more and more visitors to enjoy the leisure atmosphere offered by the mall.
سيتي سنتر الإسكندرية يشجع هواة الدراجات البخارية المشاركين في معرض Biker Zone
القاهرة، مصر، 9 إبريل 2015- اختار فريق نادي الإسكندرية لهواة الدراجات البخارية (Alexandria Scooter Riders Club) سيتي سنتر الإسكندرية كنقطة انطلاق لفريقه المشارك في معرض Biker Zone الذي أقيم من 5 إلى 7 مارس. يُعد نادي الإسكندرية لهواة الدراجات البخارية مبادرة اجتماعية غير هادفة للربح أسسها مجموعة من مواطني الإسكندرية في يوليو 2011 بهدف الترويج لاستخدام الدراجات البخارية كوسيلة انتقال صديقة للبيئة.
وعلى مدار ثلاث سنوات، قام سيتي سنتر الإسكندرية، والذي تمتلكه وتديره "ماجد الفطيم"، الشركة الرائدة في عالم مراكز التسوّق والتجزئة والترفيه على مستوى منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا، برعاية النادي، انطلاقاً من حرص المركز على دعم الأنشطة المتواصلة للنادي على مدار العام، بهدف نشر الوعي باستخدام وسائل الانتقال الصديقة للبيئة والتي من شأنها تخفيف الازدحام المروري والحد من التلوث البيئي في المدينة.
وتعليقاً على الحدث، قال السيد/ مصطفى خليف، مدير لدى سيتي سنتر الإسكندرية: "انطلاقاً من دورنا الريادي ومسئوليتنا للاستدامة نحو الإسكندرية، نحرص دائماً على المساهمة في الحفاظ على البيئة والترويج للأنشطة التي تهدف للقضاء على التلوث البيئي، لتصبح الإسكندرية مدينة صديقة للبيئة وتقلل من التلوث. لذا نفخر بشراكتنا المتميزة مع نادي الإسكندرية لهواة الدراجات البخارية، بما أتاح لنا فرصة فريدة لدعم جهود الشباب السكندري في تنمية مجتمعهم والعناية به. في نفس الوقت سيواصل سيتي سنتر الإسكندرية جهوده في المحافظة على شعارها الأساسي: "تحقيق أسعد اللحظات لكل الناس، كل يوم" في إطار سعينا لمنح الزائرين والمتسوقين تجربة تسوق وترفيه لا مثيل لها."
جدير بالذكر أن سيتي سنتر الإسكندرية أعلن مؤخراًعن الانتهاء من المرحلة الجديدة لتوسعاته والتي أطلق عليهاLeisure Precinct على مساحة تتخطى 12,000 متر مربع وبإجمالي استثمارات تصل إلى 70 مليون جنيه.تضم المرحلة الجديدة 11 وحدة للمطاعم، بالإضافة إلى 4 مطاعم بساحات جلوس منفصلة. شملت التوسعات أيضا إقامة ممر جديد يستوعب 23 متجر تجزئة، كما تتسع Leisure Precinct لحوالي 800 شخص في منطقة وحدات المطاعم، بالإضافة إلى 900 شخص في الساحات الخاصة بالمطاعم الأربعة الجديدة، لإتاحة الفرصة أمام المزيد من الزائرين للاستمتاع بالعروض المتنوعة التي يقدمها المركز.
