Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 24 March 2015: (ME NewsWire) In the run up to the 8th Annual CSR Awards, the Arabia CSR Network (ACSRN) will be holding an Awards Clinic on 7th April 2015 at Villa Rotana Hotel, Dubai. The Awards Clinic is designed to provide the applicants with a complete outline of the application procedure, along with useful hints on submitting a successful application.
According to Mrs. Habiba Al Marashi, President and CEO of the Arabia CSR Network, “The Arabia CSR Awards underlines the importance of corporate social responsibility by bringing together the most successful and innovative CSR pioneers in the Arab world. The Awards Clinic is an important first step in the awards process as it helps prospective applicants learn from the winners of the 2014 Awards and distinguished members of the Jury.”
Some of the winners of the past cycle of the Arabia CSR Awards including: Tristar, Al Jazeera International Catering, P&G and Dubai Customs will be present at the Clinic to share their journey on how the Awards have positively impacted their sustainable business practices. The members of Awards Jury will be on hand to share the evaluation methodology and judging criteria for the Awards.
The 8th Annual Arabia CSR Awards ceremony will take place under the Auspices of the League of Arab States for the second consecutive year and in collaboration with UNEP on 28th of October, 2015 in Dubai. This year the Arabia CSR Awards is sponsored by Emirates National Oil Company (Enoc) and the National Petrochemical Industrial Co. (Natpet).
It is highly recommended for the applicants and those interested in applying for the awards to participate in the clinic as it will aid them considerably to understand the important aspects of the Application process well in time before the submission deadline on June 30th 2015. The Arabia CSR Awards has received more than 50 applications since its launch in mid-February and registration is now open with additional three new categories: Financial, Social Enterprise and Energy to ensure benchmark for organizations that fall in the same categories.

"شبكة المسؤولية الإجتماعية للمؤسسات" تعرف المؤسسات بآلية الترشح لجائزتها

الورشة لدعم المؤسسات في إبراز مساعيها في مجال المسؤولية الاجتماعية
دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة - 24 مارس 2015-) ميدل ايست نيوز واير( أعلنت الشبكة العربية للمسؤولية الاجتماعية للمؤسسات عن تنظيمها ورشة عمل تعريفية لمساعدة المؤسسات على الإلمام بالإجراءات المتعلقة بتقديم الطلبات المتكاملة للدورة الثامنة للجائزة العربية للمسؤولية الاجتماعية للمؤسسات، حيث تأتي هذه الورشة التي ستقام في 7 أبريل 2015 في فندق فيلا روتانا بدبي، في إطار الاستعداد للدورة السنوية الثامنة من الجائزة، إلى جانب إعطاء النصائح المفيدة لتقديم الطلبات الناجحة المستوفية للشروط المطلوبة.
وكشفت السيدة حبيبة المرعشي، الرئيس والمدير التنفيذي للشبكة العربية للمسؤولية الاجتماعية للمؤسسات عن تلقي الشبكة أكثر من 50 طلبًا للتقدم للجوائز منذ الإعلان عن إطلاق الجائزة في منتصف فبراير الماضي، حيث لا يزال باب التسجيل مفتوحاً.
وقالت السيدة المرعشي: "تؤكد الجائزة العربية للمسؤولية الاجتماعية للمؤسسات على أهمية المسؤولية الاجتماعية من خلال الجمع بين المؤسسات الرائدة الأكثر إبداعًا على مستوى الوطن العربي، وتعتبر هذه الورشة خطوة أساسية في إطار استعداد المؤسسات للتقدم بطلباتها للحصول على الجوائز، لأنها تساعدها على الاستفادة من تجارب الفائزين في الدورة السابعة 2014، إضافة إلى حصولها على النصائح من الأعضاء البارزين في لجنة التحكيم".
وأضافت أنه سيشارك في هذه الورشة ممثلون لعدد من الفائزين في الدورة السابقة من الجائزة بما في ذلك: تريستار والجزيرة العالمية للتموين و "بيه آند جي" P & G وجمارك دبي، حيث ستسجل هذه الجهات حضوراً لها لإطلاع الآخرين على رحلتها، والتأثير الإيجابي للجوائز على ممارساتها التجارية المستدامة، وسيشارك أعضاء لجنة تحكيم الجوائز في الورشة لتسليط الضوء على منهجية التقييم ومعايير التحكيم المتبعة في هذه الجوائز.
وأشارت إلى أن حفل الدورة السنوية الثامنة للجائزة سيقام تحت رعاية جامعة الدول العربية للعام الثاني على التوالي، وبالتعاون مع برنامج الأمم المتحدة للبيئة في 28 أكتوبر 2015 في دبي، وتحظى الدورة أيضاً برعاية شركة بترول الإمارات الوطنية المحدودة (إينوك) والشركة الوطنية لصناعات البتروكيماويات (ناتبت).
ونصحت السيدة المرعشي المؤسسات المتقدمة لهذه الجائزة بضرورة المشاركة في الورشة، لأنها ستساعدها إلى حد كبير في فهم الجوانب المهمة من عملية تقديم الطلبات في الوقت المناسب قبل الموعد النهائي لتقديم الطلبات في 30 يونيو 2015.
