ASJC lays the foundation stone for industrial plant that brings to the kingdom tomorrow’s technology today
Jeddah, Saudi Arabia – March 01, 2015: (ME NewsWire) Al Salem Johnson Controls (ASJC), a joint venture between the Al Salem Group of Companies and Johnson Controls, a global multi industrial company, has laid the foundation stone for their new, state of the art manufacturing facility and training center at King Abdullah Economic City’s Industrial Valley. The manufacturing facility to be built on 203,783 square meters of land is expected to begin its first developmental phase immediately and become fully operational by 2017.
Creating more than 2000 jobs, Al Salem Johnson Controls has been serving businesses in the Kingdom for over 25 years through energy efficient HVAC solutions that make it easier for customers to achieve energy and operational savings.
Al Salem Johnson Controls will be the first industrial company that provides integrated HVAC solutions to establish its industrial facility and training center in KAEC to further expand in developing energy efficient products, services and solutions in the Kingdom.

آل سالم جونسون كنترولز تضع حجر الأساس لمنشأتها الصناعية ومركز التدريب بالوادي الصناعي في مدينة الملك عبدالله الاقتصادية
جدة، المملكة العربية السعودية ، 1 مارس 2015:) ميدل ايست نيوز واير( أعلنت شركة آل سالم جونسون كنترولز وهي شراكة إستراتيجية بين (مجموعة شركات آل سالم وشركة جونسون كنترولز العالمية) عن وضع حجر الأساس لمشروعها الصناعي ومركز التدريب التابع له في مدينة الملك عبدالله الاقتصادية، وذلك على مساحة 203,783 متراً مربعاً. ويتوقع أن تبدأ الشركة على الفور بتطوير مصنعها الجديد وبدء عملياتها فعلياً بحلول العام 2017م، مستندة لخبراتها التي تتجاوز 25 سنة في السوق السعودي، والتي أسهمت خلالها في استحداث ما يزيد على 2000 وظيفة لأبناء المملكة.
بهذه المناسبة، أوضح الأستاذ فهد الرشيد، العضو المنتدب والرئيس التنفيذي لمدينة الملك عبدالله الاقتصادية:"نحن نعتز بتواجد آل سالم جونسون كنترولز في مصاف الشركات العالمية الرائدة في مجالاتها، والتي اختارت إنشاء مصنعٍها ومركزٍ التدريب في مدينة الملك عبدالله الاقتصادية بما يمكنها من التوسع في منتجاتها وخدماتها على مستوى المنطقة، وايجاد حلول لاستهلاك الطاقة وتقليص تكاليف التشغيل في المملكة". وتابع الرشيد:"لله الحمد، مدينة الملك عبدالله الاقتصادية ماضية قدماً في استقطاب الشركات الوطنية الرائدة والعالمية وتحفيزها على الاستثمار فيها، واضعين نصب أعيننا تنويع القاعدة الاقتصادية في المملكة". مشيراً إلى أن آل سالم جونسون كنترولز ستستفيد من مرافق النقل المتنوعة، خصوصاً ميناء الملك عبدالله الذي سيعد واحد من أكبر عشر موانئ في العالم، إلى جانب قطار الحرمين السريع.

وقد علق الأستاذ ريان قطب، الرئيس التنفيذي للوادي الصناعي بمدينة الملك عبدالله الاقتصادية، قائلاً:" أن حجم الفرص الاستثمارية الهائلة التي يوفرها الوادي الصناعي المتصل مباشرة بميناء الملك عبدالله يؤهله أن يكون وجهة رئيسية ونقطة إمداد متقدمة للخدمات اللوجستية والصناعة في المنطقة تتيح الوصول إلى 250 مليون مستهلك في العالم العربي بالأضافة الى شرق أفريقيا" مضيفاً:"
يمتد الوادي الصناعي على مساحة 55 مليون متر مربع، وهو ما يشكل ثلث مساحة المدينة الاقتصادية تقريبا،وتعد البنية التحتية عالمية المعايير من أهم ما يقدمه الوادي الصناعي للمستثمرين فيه، وكذلك يوفر الوادي الصناعي مشروع (القرية) الذي يقدم البيئة السكنية الملائمة للعمال والمشرفين". وأضاف قطب:" ولله الحمد تم استقطاب إلى قافلة عملائنا والذين بلغوا للآن 93 شركة صناعية وطنية رائدة وعالمية 8 منهم بدأت مرحلة الإنتاج، و23 منهم بدأت فعلياً في إنشاء مصانعها في القطاعات الستة التي يركز عليها الوادي الصناعي وهي:السلع الغذائية/الاستهلاكية، والأدوية ، والخدمات اللوجستية، والصناعات البلاستيكية، ومواد البناء وقطاع المركبات". واختتم قطب:" أن الوادي الصناعي ما يزال يواصل تلبية الطلب المتزايد على تأجير وبيع الأراضي الصناعية في المرحلتين الثانية والثالثة بوتيرة متسارعة فاقت التوقعات وذكر أنه يتم حالياً تطوير البنية التحتية لأكثر من 25 مليون متر مربع إضافية لمواكبة هذاالطلب واستقطاب عدد أكبر من الشركات العالمية والمحلية "
