Construction to be completed in October 2016, adding 520 new homes to the expatriate residential market in the Riyadh province
Abu Dhabi, 16 February 2015 – Gulf Related, a leading regional real estate development company, has commenced the main construction of the landmark residential complex, Antara, in Al-Dir'iyyah in Riyadh Province in Saudi Arabia, with a laying of the cornerstone ceremony today. Gulf Related is the development manager of Antara. Upon completion in October 2016, the Antara residential complex will be home to roughly 520 expatriate families in Riyadh and would have cost SAR 748 million.
Dr Karim El Solh, co-Managing Partner of Gulf Related, said: “Antara is a unique, premium residential project by virtue of its excellent location, careful planning, experienced development managers and the support of the Al-Dir'iyyah Governorate and municipality. Strategically located in the growing Al-Dir'iyyah Governorate, in the North Western part of Riyadh on King Khalid Road, and conveniently situated ten minutes from King Abdullah Financial District and twenty minutes from King Khalid International Airport, it is designed in a Mediterranean-resort, self-contained village style.

Antara was master planned by OTAK and world-renowned EDSA, out of Ft. Lauderdale with offices in Abu Dhabi, which also designed the generous landscape architecture. The infrastructure, building architecture, interior design and engineering was designed by Omrania & Associates out of their Riyadh and Bahrain offices.
The traditional Cornerstone Laying Ceremony was attended by all those involved with this flagship project together with community leaders and dignitaries from architecture and design houses, building and construction companies, banking and finance institutions, and services companies.

Our work on the Antara development will be a showcase of our project planning and execution capabilities.
Other infrastructure facilities will consist of utility building, security gates and guardhouses, car parking, landscaping, and pedestrian paths, with 40% of the total development, or about 48,500 square meters committed to open areas, lush green landscaping, cycling tracks and children’s play areas. Enabling and underground infrastructure works have already been completed.

تنتهي أعمال الإنشاءات في أكتوبر 2016 مضيفة 520 منزلاً جديداً للسوق السكني المخصص للوافدين في منطقة الرياض
أبوظبي، 16 فبراير 2015 – احتفلت "جلف ريليتد"، وهي شركة رائدة في المجال العقاري في المنطقة، بوضع حجر الأساس لمجمع "أنتارا" السكني في محافظة الدرعية في منطقة الرياض في المملكة العربية السعودية، إيذاناً بالبدء في أعمال الإنشاءات الرئيسية للمجمع السكني والذي سيشكل معلماً بارزاً عند انتهاء أعمال التشييد في شهر أكتوبر 2016. ومن الجدير بالذكر أن "جلف ريليتد" هي مدير تطوير المشروع الذي سيستقبل عند اكتماله حوالي 520 عائلة وافدة مقيمة في الرياض. وتبلغ تكلفة مشروع مجمع "أنتارا" السكني الكاملة 748 مليون ريال سعودي.
صرح الدكتور كريم الصلح، المدير التنفيذي المشارك في "جلف ريليتد": "مشروع ’أنتارا‘ هو مشروع سكني متميز وراقٍ بفضل موقعه الممتاز والتخطيط الدقيق الذي روعي فيه وبفضل مدرائه المتمرسين في مجال إدارة تطوير المشاريع العقارية والدعم الذي يلقاه من محافظة الدرعية وبلديتها. ويتوقع أن يرسي المشروع معايير جديدة للسكن الراقي في المملكة. وعند اكتماله، سيشكل المشروع معلماً بارزاً على خارطة منطقة الرياض."
يحتل المشروع موقعاً استراتيجياً في محافظة الدرعية في الجزء الشمالي الغربي من مدينة الرياض على طريق الملك خالد، كما يبعد مسافة عشرة دقائق فقط عن مركز الملك عبدالله المالي وعشرين دقيقة عن مطار الملك خالد الدولي. وقد صمم المشروع على طراز القرى السياحية والمنتجعات الواقعة على شاطئ البحر المتوسط.
أوضح إميل حبيب، مدير عام "جلف ريليتد": "مشروع ’أنتارا‘ هو مشروع ضخم ومتكامل تبلغ مساحته الإنشائية 98,115 متر مربع ويتكون من 520 منزلاً موزعة على مساحات خضراء تحاكي المنتزهات وهو بمثابة مجمع سكني متطور ونموذجي في منطقة الرياض، ويتسم بطابع مميز. وسيكون مشروع ’أنتارا‘ مشروعاً جذاباً عالمي المستوى في قلب منطقة الرياض."
تولّت كل من شركة كل من "أوتاك" (OTAK) و"إي دي إس اي" (EDSA) وهي الشركة ذات الشهرة العالمية والمتمركزة في فورت لودريل ولديها مكاتب في أبوظبي، وضع المخطط الرئيسي للمشروع. وقد قامت هذه الشركة الأخيرة أيضاً بتصميم الهندسة الطبيعية للمشروع. أما الهندسة المعمارية وهندسة المباني والهندسة الداخلية للمشروع فقد تولتها شركة "العمرانية وشركاؤها" ((Omrania & Associates من مكاتبها في الرياض والبحرين.
شارك في حفل وضع حجر الأساس جميع الشركات المساهمة في هذا المشروع الهام، إلى جانب شخصيات قيادية بارزة من مؤسسات وشركات تعمل في المجال المعماري ومجال التصميم وشركات الإنشاءات ومؤسسات مالية ومصرفية وشركات خدمية أخرى.

ستضم باقي المنشآت في المشروع مبنى للمنافع العامة وبوابات أمنية ومقرات للحراسة ومواقف للسيارات ومساحات خضراء وممرات للمشاة حيث ستخصص 40% من إجمالي مساحة المشروع أو حوالي 48,500 متر مربع للمساحات المفتوحة والمناطق المزروعة والمساحات الخضراء وممرات للدراجات وملاعب للأطفال. وقد تم استكمال أعمال البنى التحتية المنفذة تحت الأرض.
