Al Hammadi: "Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University is a leading educational institution in the region”
[UAE, December 27, 2014] – H.E. Hussein Al Hammadi, UAE Minister of Education, has recently been briefed on the qualitative initiatives undertaken by Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU) to enrich the knowledge and entrench the culture of creativity, innovation and scientific research through ‘Smart Learning.’ The qualitative initiatives complement the university’s drive towards ‘smart’ transformation in line with the vision and directives of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and President of the University.
H.E. Al Hammadi was briefed during his visit to HBMSU campus to identify the features of the integrated learning environment that are available for the university’s learners and accredited academic programs that effectively respond to the successive variables and keep pace with technological development as one of the most distinctive features of the 21st century. The Minister of Education, accompanied by Dr. Mansoor Al Awar, HBMSU Chancellor, and number of faculty and administrative members, toured the university and checked its diverse facilities. During the tour, he was also briefed on the ‘Virtual Classroom,’ which is considered a turnaround in terms of enhancing the flexibility and quality of ‘Smart Learning.’
H.E. Al Hammadi commended HBMSU’s achievement of becoming one of the leading educational institutions in the region in a record time. He also praised the University for being the first specialized educational institution to realize early about the rapid changes taking place globally in the field of information and communications technology, education, and knowledge and have become an important part of its educational courses.
Adding further, H.E. Al Hammadi said: “The distinctive administrative and educational practices, modern educational facilities, elite academics and specialists, group of scheduled courses, and means of advanced teaching have made HBMSU a model for a modern educational institution. It represents a perfect academic destination for learners, scholars and researchers who are looking forward to the future and better job opportunities.”
On his part, Dr. Mansoor Al Awar shared that the visit of H.E. Al Hammadi complements the leading position that HBMSU has achieved—being one of the best models for smart learning in the Arab World. He emphasized that the university is keen to provide an advanced learning environment and develop an overall portfolio of academic programs based on innovative teaching methods and best international practices adopted in various fields of knowledge. Such an environment will also support the governmental orientation towards the optimal investment in human recourses.

]الإمارات، 27 ديسمبر، 2014 [- اطلع معالي حسين الحمادي، وزير التربية والتعليم، على المبادرات النوعية التي تقودها "جامعة حمدان بن محمّد الذكية" لإثراء المعرفة وترسيخ ثقافة الإبداع والابتكار والبحث العلمي عبر التعلّم الذكي، في سبيل دفع عجلة التحوّل الذكي تماشياً مع رؤية وتوجيهات صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، نائب رئيس الدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي "رعاه الله"، وسمو الشيخ حمدان بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، ولي عهد دبي والرئيس الأعلى للجامعة.
جاء ذلك خلال الزيارة التي قام بها معالي وزير التربية والتعليم إلى حرم "جامعة حمدان بن محمد الذكية"، للتعرّف إلى ملامح البيئة التعليمية المتكاملة المتاحة أمام الدارسين في الجامعة والبرامج الأكاديمية المعتمدة التي تستجيب بفعالية للمتغيرات المتلاحقة وتواكب التقدّم التكنولوجي الذي يعتبر أحد أبرز الملامح المميزة للقرن الحادي والعشرين.
وقام معاليه بجولة تفقد خلالها المرافق الجامعية الذكية برفقة الدكتور منصور العور، رئيس الجامعة وعدد من أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية والإدارية. وأثناء الجولة، استمعَ معاليه إلى شرح مفصّل عن "الصفوف الدراسية الافتراضية" التي تعتبر نقلة نوعية على صعيد تعزيز مرونة وجودة التعلّم الذكي.
وقال معالي الحمادي إن "جامعة حمدان بن محمد الذكية" استطاعت في وقت قياسي أن تكون أحد أهم الصروح التعليمية الرائدة في المنطقة، فضلاً عن كونها أولى المؤسسات التعليمية المتخصصة، التي أدركت في وقت مبكر التحوّلات السريعة التي يشهدها العالم الآن، على مستوى تكنولوجيا التعليم والاتصال والمعرفة والتقنيات المتطورة، التي تعد جزءاً مهماً من مساقات التعليم فيها .
وأكد أن الممارسات الإدارية والتعليمية المميزة التي تتسم بها الجامعة، والمرافق التعليمية الحديثة التي تشتمل عليها، ونخبة الأكاديميين والمتخصصين القائمين على التدريس، ومجموعة المساقات المقررة، ووسائل التدريس المتقدمة، جعلت من جامعة حمدان بن محمد الذكية، نموذجاً للمؤسسة التعليمية العصرية، التي تمثل وجهة مثالية لكل طالب ودارس وباحث، يتطلع لمستقبل وفرص عمل أفضل.
من جانبه، ثمّن الدكتور منصور العور زيارة معالي وزير التربية والتعليم التي تؤكّد المستوى الريادي الذي وصلت إليه "جامعة حمدان بن محمّد الذكية" باعتبارها النموذج الأفضل لمستقبل التعلم الذكي في العالم العربي، مؤكّداً بأنّ الجامعة حريصة على توفير بيئة تعليمية متطورة وتطوير محفظة شاملة من البرامج الأكاديمية القائمة على أحدث أساليب التعليم المبتكرة وأفضل الممارسات الدولية المعتمدة في مختلف حقول المعرفة، والتي من شأنها دعم التوجّه الحكومي في الاستثمار الأمثل بالعنصر البشري.
