French innovation, technicality and expertise presented in the Aircraft Interiors and MRO Middle East exhibitions in Dubai on 2 and 3 February 2015

United Arab Emirates; January 2015 - For the 4th year in a row, UBIFRANCE (French agency for International Business Development) is organising a French Pavilion in the Middle East benchmark exhibitions dedicated to Aircraft Interior outfitting and aeronautical maintenance: Aircraft Interiors & MRO Middle East, to take place in Dubai on 2 and 3 February 2015.

During this event, 25 French companies will present their products and expertise in order to meet the decision makers of the main airlines and maintenance centres in the Middle East area, the Indian subcontinent and in the horn of Africa. Nine of the 25 companies are located in the Midi-Pyrénées region and will take part in the exhibition with the support of the “Midi-Pyrénées Expansion” development agency.

The French Pavilion (the only French representatives in these exhibitions) should be successful again, particularly thanks to the diversity of its exhibitors and of their expertise.
Middle East stakeholders’ increasing needs, due in particular to the extension of local airlines’ fleets and to the introduction to service of new-generation aircraft, will certainly be met by the expertise of the French companies attending the exhibitions.
On these highly competitive markets in which an increasing number of stakeholders are involved, companies need to differentiate themselves through innovation. French companies specialising in the aeronautical sector have understood this requirement. As a matter of fact, according to a study conducted by GIFAS (Groupement des Industries Françaises Aéronautiques et Spatiales – French aerospace industries association), approximately 15% of their turnover is dedicated to R&D. This will be particularly visible in the French Pavilion, in which many companies will offer innovative solutions to help airlines and MRO centres to develop and improve their processes.

French companies which are willing to establish or to reinforce links with local decision-makers and to take part in the development of the aeronautical sector in the Middle East, will present their products, technologies and innovations in halls 7 and 8 of the Dubai World Trade Centre:
