Dubai Police to conduct a live rescue demonstration using Corodex Agencies’ innovative series of battery-operated rescue tools, launching for the first time in the Middle East
DUBAI, 14th January, 2015: The Dubai Police will carry out a major live rescue demonstration introducing Corodex Agencies’ cutting-edge rescue tools, featuring a new battery technology, at next week’s Intersec trade fair.
During the live rescue demo, Dubai Police Officers will demonstrate the use of various Holmatro rescue tools launched for the first time in the Middle East by Concorde – Corodex Group’s Safety and Rescue division, Corodex Agencies, at this year’s safety and security exhibition.
The pioneering local company will exhibit a series of battery-operated tools, part of the Holmatro Greenline range, which include cutters, spreaders, rams, and a mini cutter featuring a new innovative battery technology.
The new line of Holmatro equipment from Corodex Agencies makes use of new battery technology designed to maximise operation time by using high-capacity batteries that maintain the same power continuously as the rescue tool is in use, and only shuts down when the battery has been completely emptied. The Greenline rescue tools not only immensely improve the efficiency of rescue operations, but also reduce health risks for both rescuers and victims as all the products are emission-free.

This will be the first time Dubai Police has performed a live extraction and rescue demonstration at Intersec.

The demonstration will take place outside the main exhibition area at 11am on January 18th and 19th, day one and two of Intersec, the leading international meeting platform for the Safety and Security Industry worldwide. The exhibition, which runs from January 18th to January 20th at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre, is the largest in the industry, with more than 1,200 exhibitors and visitors from more than 125 countries.
In addition to the rescue and safety demonstration, companies within the Concorde-Corodex Group will be exhibiting at three stands during Intersec. Bristol Fire Engineering will showcase their full range of fire-fighting systems and equipment, Bristol Vehicles Manufacturing Division will display their emergency and rescue vehicles, and Corodex Agencies will also exhibit a wide array of safety and rescue equipment and fire fighting systems.
