Abu Dhabi, 24 December 2014: Abu Dhabi Media (ADM), one of the fastest growing, multi-platform media and entertainment organizations in the Middle East, today announced that fans across the region will have the opportunity to follow their favorite football stars at the internationally recognised Globe Soccer Awards ceremony, which will take place within the Dubai Football Gala organised by Dubai Sports Council in partnership with BC Bendoni group.
The event, held annually in the UAE, will take place on December 29 at Atlantis the Palm, Dubai, to honour players, coaches, referees and football personalities for their achievements at one of football’s most exclusive global events.
As Globe Soccer’s official media partner, Abu Dhabi Media will conduct exclusive interviews with the worlds most renowned and influential football players, coaches and personalities throughout the conference.
Fans will enjoy exclusive coverage from Abu Dhabi Sports, which will begin with a special live studio analysis at 7:00PM. Live broadcast of the awards ceremony will also be taking place, providing in-depth analysis on the winners, in addition to exclusive interviews with the winners and attendees.
Abu Dhabi Sport channels enjoy great popularity across the region. They use the latest technology to contribute to the enhancement of major sport events coverage, locally as well as regionally and internationally.
Additionally Star FM’s ‘Xtra Sport’, presented by Haitham Obaid, will broadcast live from the event. Editorials as well as exclusive interviews will be on offer from both Al Ittihad and The National. Both publications will also be presenting a special video on its website showcasing the highlights from the event and conversation with a high-profile football star.
Abu Dhabi Media’s audiences will have the chance to meet football stars and attend the awards ceremony through a joint competition organized by Al Ittihad, The National, Star FM and Abu Dhabi Sports. Soccer fans can participate in the competition by texting the word ‘Sports’ in to 3664.

At the 2013 edition of the event, Portuguese Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo was awarded the Globe Soccer Award for the ‘Fans Favorite Player’, while Juventus manager Antonio Conte was awarded the ‘Best Coach of the Year’ Award. Additionally, the Spanish Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola was named the ‘Most Successful Coach’ and ‘Best Media Attraction in Football’, in recognition of his international achievements and success throughout his coaching career.
FC Bayern Munich was selected as Globe Soccer’s ‘Best Club of the Year’, with its very own French-born Frank Ribery receiving the ‘Globe Soccer Award 2013’. FC Barcelona star, Spanish Xavi Hernandez, was recognized for his exceptional performance with the ‘Player Career Award’.
The UAE’s national football team manager, Mahdi Ali, was awarded the GCC Coach of the Year award, in recognition of his success in leading the UAE national team to victory at the Gulf Cup of Nations in 2013.

أبوظبي 24 ديسمبر 2014: أعلنت أبوظبي للإعلام، إحدى أكبر المؤسسات الإعلامية وأكثرها تنوعاً في منطقة الشرق الأوسط، عن تغطية متميزة لحفل جوائز كرة القدم العالمي "غلوب سوكر" 2014 والتي ستقام ضمن حفل دبي لكرة القدم التي ينظمها مجلس دبي الرياضي بالتعاون مع مجموعة "BC Bendoni".
وسيقام الحفل السنوي، الذي يعتبر أحد أهمّ المناسبات الرياضية الدولية يوم 29 ديسمبر في مجمّع أتلانتيس النخلة، لتكريّم اللاعبين والمدرّبين والحكّام والشخصيات الكرويّة التي حقّقت أفضل الأداء والانجازات طيلة السنة. وستحظى أبوظبي للإعلام بمقابلات حصريّة مع أبرز نجوم كرة القدم في العالم وكذلك مع أهمّ المدرّبين والمُنظّمين وكبار الشخصيات الدولية المؤثرة في عالم الكرة اليوم.
هذا وسوف يكون لقناة أبوظبي الرياضية إستوديو تلفزيوني خاص يبدأ البث في تمام الساعة السابعة من موقع الحدث وستنقل من خلاله مباشرةً تفاصيل حفل جوائز غلوب سوكر العالمية بالإضافة الى الإعلان عن الفائزين وتوزيع الجوائز وعدد من التقارير واللقاءات حصرية مع الفائزين والحاضرين.

وفي نسخة العام 2013، حصل النجم البرتغالي كريستيانو رونالدو، مهاجم نادي ريال مدريد الإسباني، على جائزة أفضل لاعب. وحصل الإسباني پيپ غوارديولا، مدرّب فريق بايرن ميونيخ الألماني، على جائزة أفضل مدرب حقّق النجاحات وحصد الاهتمام الإعلامي خلال مسيرته الرياضية، بينما فاز الإيطالي أنطونيو كونتي، المدير الفني لنادي يوڤنتوس الإيطالي، بجائزة أفضل مدرّب للسنة.
هذا واختير نادي بايرن ميونخ الألماني فريق السنة، في حين نال نجمه الفرنسي فرانك ريبيري جائزة غلوب سوكر الكبرى. واستحقّ الإسباني تشابي هيرنانديز، نجم نادي برشلونة، جائزة صانع اللعب الذي قدّم أفضل أداء في مسيرته الرياضية. وعلى الصعيد الإقليمي، فاز مهدي علي، المدرّب الوطني لمنتخب الإمارات الفائز بـ"خليجي 21"، بجائزة أفضل مدرّب في منطقة الخليج للعام 2013.
يذكر أنّ جوائز غلوب سوكر تستأثر باهتمام متزايد من قبل هواة الرياضة عموماً وكرة القدم بشكل خاص. ومع نقل فعّاليات الحفل عبر منصّات أبوظبي للإعلام المتنوّعة، يتوقّع لدورة هذا العام أن تشهد إقبالاً قياسياً من الجمهور في نهاية هذا الشهر.
