650 metres of Stollen to be sold with all proceeds to the Dubai Centre for Special Needs

Dubai, UAE, 1 December 2014 – Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates and Mall of the Emirates, Majid Al Futtaim’s leading lifestyle destination is encouraging the community to help support one of the most highly anticipated charity events of the holiday season – the Annual Stollen Charity Cake, which will be hosted all day on Friday December 5^th at the mall.  This year, the stakes are even higher with a record 650metres of Stollen, a traditional German fruitcake, which is set to be sold this year with the aim to raise an even greater amount of funds for Dubai Centre for Special Needs. All proceeds will go directly towards funding various programs for the centre, as well as ensuring the students are equipped with the tools and facilities they need to further develop their skills. 

Adding to the festive cheer is a special visit from Santa Claus, a special children’s choir, free giveaways for the kids and special needs students from the Dubai Centre for Special Needs lending a helping hand in selling the Stollen for charity.

بيع كعكة شتولن العملاقة التي يبلغ طولها 650 متراً لصالح «مركز دبي للرعاية الخاصة»

دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة، 1 ديسمبر 2014: حث كل من «فندق كمبينسكي مول الإمارات» و«مول الإمارات»، الزوار والمتسوقين على المساعدة ودعم فعالية «مزاد كعكة شتولن الخيري السنوي» التي يستضيفها المركز طوال يوم الجمعة 5 ديسمبر بالشراكة مع «فندق كمبينسكي مول الإمارات». وستكون كعكة «شتولن» الألمانية التقليدية هذا العام هي الأكبر على الإطلاق، حيث سيبلغ طول الكعكة الشهية 650 متراً، بهدف جمع أموال أكثر والتبرُّع بها بالكامل لصالح «مركز دبي للرعاية الخاصة» ودعم برامجه المتنوعة وضمان تزويد الطلاب بالأدوات والمنشآت التي تساعدهم على تطوير مهاراتهم بالشكل الأمثل.

ولإضفاء المزيد من أجواء البهجة والمرح، سيقوم «سانتا كلوز» بزيارة خاصة للمركز لتوزيع الهدايا على الأطفال والطلاب من ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة من «مركز دبي للرعاية الخاصة» حيث سيساعد في المساعي الخيرية من خلال المشاركة في بيع كعكة شتولن.
