ESI International returns to Training & Development Show Middle East
2014 to present insightful session on project managing an organisation’s
strategy to drive best results; Middle East Regional Manager, Rehan Naeem, to
share top tips for
firms struggling to bridge the gap between strategy formulation and day-to-day
implementation

Rehan
Naeem, ESI’s Regional Manager, Middle East, will address delegates attending
the region's leading human resources, training and
workplace development exhibition and conference, on 9th
December 2014, with a session entitled ‘Project Managing your Organisation’s
Strategy for Best Results’.

key to long term commercial success,” said Naeem.
According
to a 2013 report by The Economist, which analysed the reasons why good
strategies fail, around 61% of the 587 C-level executives and senior management
representatives surveyed acknowledged that their firms struggle to bridge the
gap between strategy formulation and its day-to-day implementation.
“The
solution to smarter and successful execution is using project, programme and
portfolio management in order to drive business results. Aligning and managing
strategic objectives and initiatives is a struggle for most organisations today
and this is the ultimate solution and enabler in order to deliver the expected
value,” Naeem explained.
A
qualified and experienced Corporate Learning & Development professional,
Naeem holds an MBA in Management Consultancy & Strategy and has more than
eight years’ industry experience.
His
ability to analyse and implement learning solutions in the corporate world with
a focus on strategic alignment in order to optimise results is well documented,
and is supported by solid experience across a wealth of disciplines.
These
include organisational business performance analysis; strategy evaluation,
analysis, development and execution; project management capabilities in organisations;
project management process capabilities; implementing project management
performance improvement solutions; and implementation of the balanced scorecard
philosophy.

ووفقا لنتائج دراسة اعدتها مجلة الإيكونوميست في عام 2013 حول أسباب فشل
الاستراتيجيات الجيدة، قال 61 في المائة من أصل 587 شخص،
من المديرين التنفيذيين وممثلي الإدارات العليا الذين شملتهم
الدراسة، إن شركاتهم تسعى جاهدة لسد الفجوة بين مكونات
الاستراتيجية وتنفيذها وفقا للمراحل المحددة.
وأوضح نعيم إن تنفيذ
الاستراتيجية بطريقة ذكية وناجحة يعتمد على كيفية ادارة المشروع والبرنامج من أجل تعزيز
الأداء، مشيرا إلى أن ادارة الأهداف والمبادرات الاستراتيجية يعتبر من التحديات التي تواجه معظم الشركات في الوقت الحاضر وبالتالي فإن ادارة المشروع تعد حلا عمليا
بالنسبة لها لتحقيق الأهداف وتقديم القيمة المتوقعة.
