According to
the IDC,[1]
initiatives such as the Africa Together program will contribute $6.5 billion to
Egypt's ICT market in 2015. A more long-term industry forecast was provided by Egypt's
minister of communications and technology, who said that mostly private
investments into ICT of up to $18.5 billion are expected to lead to 19% growth
in the sector, contributing to a 7% rise in the gross domestic product by 2020.[2]

للبيانات الصادرة عنIDC[1]، ستساهم مبادرة "معاً إلى
أفريقيا" بما يوازي6.5 مليار دولار
أمريكي في نمو سوق الاتصالات وتكنولوجيا المعلومات في مصر خلال 2015. ويذكر أن وزير
الاتصالات وتكنولوجيا المعلومات كان قد صرح في وقت سابق أنه من المتوقع أن تحقق
معظم الاستثمارات الخاصة في قطاع الاتصالات وتكنولوجيا المعلومات والتي تصل إلى 18.5 مليار دولار، نموا تصل نسبته إلى 19%، لتسهم بنسبة 7% من إجمالي
الناتج المحلي بحلول 2020[2]
