An array of global cuisine celebrated at City Centre Mirdif with ‘Flavours of the World’

·         A month-long celebration from November 1st to 30th

Dubai, UAE; November 9, 2014:  A premiere dining and lifestyle destination, developed by Majid Al Futtaim, City Centre Mirdif is hosting a month-long food festival this November, featuring more than 80 international dining options, live entertainment and a chance to win a gourmet experience in the gastronomy capital of Paris. To mark the launch, City Centre Mirdif has illuminated it’s outdoor dining area Oasis Walk, with an even bigger ‘Garden of Lights’ display, providing a glittering ambience.

From November 1st – 15^th, a group of interactive, roaming chefs will be parading the mall, entertaining guests and inviting children to join them. Families can catch the roaming parade at 4:30pm, 6:30pm and 9:00pm. City Centre Mirdif has also published its annual Flavours of the World recipe book, a complimentary gift featuring the mall’s international restaurants and the recipes of their best-selling dishes.

“A key point of differentiation at City Centre Mirdif is the wide variety of food delicacies and cuisines that we offer,” said Mohamed Al Jasmi, Mall Manager for City Centre Mirdif.  “Flavours of the World is a celebration of the diversity of cultures and food options in Dubai, while creating great moments by offering a global tour of the world’s best cuisines under one roof.”

A gourmet experience in the City of Lights, Paris, France is up for grabs to those who spend AED 300 at any of the stores within City Centre Mirdif, with double chances of winning if spent dining at any of the restaurants.  In addition, instant prizes can be won upon redemption of receipts collected at any F&B outlet.

‘Flavours of the World’ features delectable cuisines from East to West:    Le Pain Quotidien and PAUL will give a taste of French culinary excellence; Characterized by its simplicity with quality ingredients, Italian cuisine is represented by Carluccio’s and Al Forno; Rosa Mexicano presents contemporary Mexican cuisine with authentic flavours; South Africa is well represented with The Butcher Shop & Grill, a testament for South African excellent meat dishes, as well as the country’s favourite seafood chain, Ocean Basket and the Portuguese/Mozambican themed Nando’s.  American delights are California Pizza Kitchen, Chili’s, Johnny Rockets and UNO Chicago Grill. Named after a street in Beirut, Adbel Wahab restaurant welcomes guests in Lebanese hospitality.  Famous for its vintage and quaint setting, Leila’s serves healthy and authentic Lebanese food.  Nestled between Europe and Asia, Turkey has influenced Dubai with its mouth-watering dishes and both Anatolia Turkish Grill and Kosebasi exude the Ottoman cuisine.

City Centre Mirdif features Asian fusion which emanates from different culinary traditions starting off with Japengo presenting a mix of international cuisines with a strong Asian influence. As well, coconut-based Thai curries of Mango Tree Bistro and exquisitely presented Japanese maki rolls of Yo! Sushi.  Famous to have a balanced mix of color, taste and shape in food, PF Chang’s and Duck King represent one of the most profound cuisines in the world, Chinese.  For an Indian vibe with fragrant curries and tandoori-grilled meats, Tiffinbites, Zafran and Gazebo are the places to go to.

«سيتي سنتر مردف» يطلق مهرجان «نكهات من حول العالم»

مهرجان المأكولات العالمية يتواصل خلال الفترة من 1 نوفمبر إلى 30 نوفمبر 2014

دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة، 9 نوفمبر 2014: يستضيف سيتي سنتر مردف، وُجهة الحياة العصرية والمطاعم العالمية التابع لـ ماجد الفطيم، مهرجان «نكهات من حول العالم» طوال شهر نوفمبر بمشاركة أكثر من ثمانين مطعماً تقدِّم مجموعة من أشهر الأطباق في العالم. ويتضمن المهرجان فقرات ترفيهية حية وفرصة الفوز بتجربة الأطعمة الشهية في عاصمة الذواقة باريس. ومع انطلاق مهرجان «نكهات من حول العالم» أُنيرت رَدْهة الواحة، المساحة الخارجية المحاذية لمدخل مردف سيتي سنتر لتتألق «حديقة الأنوار» الخارجية الموسَّعة.

وتُقام خلال الفترة بين 1-15 نوفمبر فعالية الطهاة المتجولين حيث سيجول عدد من الطهاة أرجاء سيتي سنتر مردف للترفيه عن المتسوقين واجتذاب الصغار للانضمام إليهم. وتبدأ جولة الطهاة عند الساعة 4:30 و 6:30 و 9:00 مساء. كذلك نشر سيتي سنتر مردف نسخة هذا العام من كتاب وصفات الطعام «نكهات من حول العالم» الذي يُوزع مجاناً ويتضمن طُرق تحضير أشهر الأطباق التي تقدمها المطاعم العالمية الواقعة ضمن سيتي سنتر مردف.

وفي هذا السياق، قال محمد الجسمي، مدير سيتي سنتر مردف: "من أبرز ما يميز سيتي سنتر مردف العدد الكبير من المطاعم والتشكيلة الواسعة من الأطباق العالمية التي تقدمها لمرتاديها. ومهرجان نكهات من حول العالم بمثابة احتفالية بتنوُّع الثقافات وخيارات الطعام بدبي، وعبر تقديم أشهر أطباق العالم تحت سقف واحد نأمل أن نحقق أسعد اللحظات لكافة مرتادي سيتي سنتر مردف طوال شهر نوفمبر".

وسيتأهل كل متسوق ينفق 300 درهم فأكثر في أي من متاجر سيتي سنتر مردف لفرصة الفوز برحلة إلى العاصمة الفرنسية لتذوق ألذ الأطباق هناك، وستتضاعف فرصة كل من ينفق المبلغ المذكور ردهات المطاعم. كذلك يمكن الفوز بجوائز فورية عند استبدال إيصال الشراء من أي من مطاعم ومقاهي سيتي سنتر مردف.

ويتضمن «نكهات من حول العالم» ألذ الأطباق من الشرق إلى الغرب، حيث سيقدم «لو بان كوتيديان» و«بول» تشكيلة من الخيارات الفرنسية؛ فيما سيقدم مطعما «كارلوتشيو» و«أل فورنو» تشكيلة من الأطباق الإيطالية المعروفة بمكوناتها الطازجة وبساطة طرق تحضيرها؛ ويقدم مطعم «روزا مكسيكانو» تشكيلة من الأطباق المكسيكية العصرية ذات النكهات الأصيلة؛ ومن جنوب أفريقيا يقدم «ذي بوتشر شوب أند غريل» ألذ أطباق اللحوم، فيما يقدم «أوشن باسكت»، وهو أشهر سلسلة مطاعم بحرية في جنوب أفريقيا، تشكيلة من أطباقه المفضلة، بالإضافة إلى «ناندوز» الذي يقدم أطباق الدجاج على الطريقة البرتغالية. ومن المطاعم الأمريكية المشاركة «كاليفورنيا بيتزا كيتشن» و«تشيليز» و«جوني روكتس» و«يونو شيكاغو غريل». وسيجد الباحثون عن الأطباق الشرقية واللبنانية كل ما يريدون وأكثر في مطعم «عبدالوهاب» الذي أخذ اسمه من اسم أحد شوارع بيروت. وبالمثل، يقدم مطعم «ليلى» تشكيلة من الأطباق اللبنانية الأصيلة والصحية في أجواء تراثية. ومن تركيا، همزة الوصل بين أوروبا وآسيا المعروفة بأطباقها الشهية، يقدم مطعما «أناتوليا تيركش غريل» و«كوسيباسي» تشكيلة واسعة من الأطباق التركية الأصيلة.

كذلك يحتضن سيتي سنتر مردف عدداً من أشهر المطاعم الآسيوية، منها مطعم «جابينغو» الذي يقدم تشكيلة من الأطباق العالمية المفعمة بالنكهة الآسيوية. وبالإضافة إلى كل ذلك، سينجذب الذواقة إلى أطباق «مانغو تري بسترو» الشهير بأطباق الكاري على الطريقة التايلندية مع جوز الهند، ولعشاق الأطعمة اليابانية يقدم «يو! سوشي» تشكيلة من لفائف الماكي. ولعشاق الأطباق الصينية يقدم مطعما «بي إف تشانغ» و«داك كنغ» تشكيلة من الأطباق الصينية الأصيلة. ولعشاق الأطباق الهندية والكاري ومشاوي التندوري هناك مطاعم «تيفنبايتس» و«زعفران» و«جازبيو».
