More than 400 jobs created with 57 companies and more than 160
entrepreneurs graduating from its programs in Egypt and KSA

of October, 2014 - Flat6Labs celebrated today their 3rd
anniversary since the launch of their first accelerator in Cairo, Egypt in
2011. The accelerator program has since expanded regionally with offices in
Jeddah in partnership with Qotuf Al Riyadah in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a
soon-to-be-launched office in Abu Dhabi supported by twofour54 in the United
Arab Emirates.
Since its inception, Flat6Labs has led directly to the
creation of 57 companies across Egypt and KSA with more than 160 entrepreneurs
going through its doors. The companies created due to its program have actively
led to the creation of more than 400 jobs in both countries. Flat6Labs’
companies have registered more than 50% regarding their follow-on funding rate
with more than 40 different investors from across the globe with more than 15
million Egyptian pounds in funds being raised in Egypt alone.
Flat6Labs’ program is based on building a sustainable and
nurturing ecosystem for entrepreneurs which relies heavily on creating a
network of mentors and advisors who can provide support and expertise to the
young entrepreneurs. Flat6Labs has had more than 60 mentors and speakers in
addition to more than 30 local, regional and global partners cater to its
entrepreneurs over 7,000 hours of training over the past three years.
“We are at a historical crossroads in Egypt and MENA at the
moment. We live in a time where the youth are the majority and they are
actively leading the change on a local, global and regional scale.” stated
Ramez Mohamed, CEO of Flat6Labs. He added, “We believe that investing in

always factors you can bet on, and young Egyptians and Arabs have proven many a
time that they have what it takes to transform their communities for the
better.”
As part of its commitment towards fostering and nurturing
the entrepreneurial ecosystem in MENA, Flat6Labs will also be launching an
early-stage investment company with the goal of investing more than 50 million
Egyptian pounds (around $7 million) in 100 startup companies across the next
five years. Additionally, Flat6Labs announced several vertical expansions with
new accelerators being launched with specific focuses on digital content and
publishing as well as accelerators focused on hardware and renewable energy
solutions.
Flat6Labs has future plans for continued regional expansions
with planned new locations across North Africa, the Levant and Turkey.

احتفلت Flat6Labs اليوم بالذكرى السنوية الثالثة لإطلاق برنامجها المسرع للأعمال في عام 2011
والذي يُعد أول برامجها في المنطقة. ومنذ هذا التاريخ، توسعت Flat6Labs إقليميًا وأصبح لها مكاتب في جدة في إطار
شراكة مع شركة قطوف الريادة في المملكة العربية السعودية، وسيتم قريبًا إنشاء مكتب
لها في أبو ظبي مدعومًا من مؤسسة twofour54
في الإمارات العربية المتحدة.
وقد قادت Flat6Labs مباشرةً،
منذ نشأتها، إنشاء 57 شركة في مختلف أنحاء مصر والمملكة العربية السعودية، وتخرج
منها أكثر من 160 من أصحاب المشروعات. وقد ساهمت الشركات التي نشأت بفضل برامج Flat6Labs في خلق أكثر من 400 فرصة عمل في كلتا
الدولتين. وسجَّلت شركات Flat6Labs نسبة تزيد
عن 50% فيما يخص معدل التمويل اللاحق بعد التخرج من Flat6Labs،
بفضل أكثر من أربعين مستثمرًا من شتى بقاع العالم ساهموا في جمع ما يعادل أكثر من
15 مليون جنيه مصري من أموال تمويل للشركات
في مصر وحدها.
ويستند برنامج Flat6Labs
على خلق نظام بيئي مستدام وحاضن لأصحاب المشاريع، ويعتمد اعتمادًا كثيفًا على
إنشاء شبكة من الموجهين والمستشارين مهمتهم توفير الدعم والخبرة لأصحاب المشروعات
من الشباب. وقد استعانت Flat6Labs بأكثر من 60
موجهًا ومحاضرًا بالإضافة إلى أكثر من 30 شريكًا من الشركاء المحليين والإقليميين
والعالميين لدعم أصحاب المشروعات على مدى أكثر من 7000 ساعة من التدريب خلال
السنوات الثلاث الماضية.
ويقول رامز محمد، الرئيس التنفيذي لـ Flat6Labs:
"نحن نقف في الوقت الحالي في مفترق طرق تاريخي في مصر والشرق الأوسط. فنحن
نعيش في زمن يكون به الشباب هم الأغلبية وهم من يقودون التغيير بنشاط على المستوى
المحلي والإقليمي والعالمي". ويضيف: "ونحن نؤمن بأن الاستثمار في
المشروعات هو بمثابة استثمار في الشباب والمواهب والابتكار. وهذه هي العوامل التي

وفي إطار التزامها بتعزيز ورعاية نظام بيئي حاضن للمشروعات في
الشرق الأوسط، تعتزم Flat6Labs إطلاق شركة
استثمارية للتمويل المبدئي تهدف إلى استثمار أكثر من 50 مليون جنيه مصري (نحو 7
ملايين دولار) في مائة شركة ناشئة خلال السنوات الخمس المقبلة. كما أعلنت Flat6Labs عن عدة توسعات رأسية بإطلاق برامج جديدة
تركز تحديدًا على المحتوى الرقمي والنشر بالإضافة إلى برامج تركز على الأجهزة
وحلول الطاقة المتجددة.
وتمتلك Flat6Labs خططًا
مستقبلية لمواصلة التوسعات الإقليمية في مواقع جديدة مدروسة في شمال إفريقيا وبلاد
الشام وتركيا.
