reflects company’s core CSR commitment towards community wellbeing

Facilities Services (EFS), a leading Integrated Facilities Management (FM)
service, operation and maintenance solution provider across the Middle East,
North Africa and South Asia (MENASA) region, successfully organized a blood
donation drive at the company’s headquarters in DIP. The initiative, which
reflects the company’s core CSR commitment towards giving back to the community
and maintaining its wellbeing, was held in cooperation with the Dubai Health
Authority (DHA). A total of 74 company’s employees participated in the event.
According
to EFS senior officials, the blood donation campaign was organized to help
provide assistance to patients suffering from thalassemia, cancer and maternity
health complications, patients scheduled for open-heart surgeries, and victim
of road and burn accidents, among others. The activity is only one of the many
CSR initiatives and programs that the company continuously implements all year
round and ably demonstrates EFS role in promoting responsive civic and social
duties, which in turn, leaves a positive impact on the larger community and the
environment. In addition, the company’s CSR activities complement its vision of
playing a dynamic role in the society wherein it operates and ensures a
healthier life for its members.
“We
would like to thank everyone who participated in this successful activity and
also to the DHA for helping us organize the event. We strongly encourage people
to donate blood or lend their support for charitable activities in the UAE as
these gestures of kindness add a difference to those who are needy,” said
Tariq Chauhan, Group CEO, EFS Facilities Services. “The activity was able
to raise 58 units of blood that will be used by the Blood Donation
Centre. CSR activities like these reaffirm our commitment towards providing
continuous support not only to the local Dubai community but to the whole UAE
as well.”

"إي.أف.أس" تنظم حملة ناجحة لموظفيها للتبرع بالدم

نظّمت مجموعة "أي. أف. أس" لخدمات إدارة المرافق (EFS Facilities Services)، إحدى الشركات الرائدة
المتخصصة في مجال تقديم الخدمات المتكاملة لإدارة المرافق وحلول التشغيل والصّيانة
في الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا وجنوب آسيا، حملة ناجحة للتبرع بالدم في مقرها
الرئيسي في مجمع دبي للإستثمار. وقامت الشركة بهذه المبادرة في إطار مسؤوليتها الإجتماعية
وإلتزامها برد الجميل للمجتمع وذلك بالتعاون مع هيئة الصحة بدبي (DAH)، حيث شارك في هذه الفعالية ما
مجموعه 78 موظف من موظفي الشركة.
ووفقاً لكبار المسؤولين في الشركة، تم تنظيم
حملة التبرع بهدف مساعدة مرضى الثلاسيميا والسرطان ومضاعفات ما بعد الولادة
والمرضى الذين على وشك الخضوع لعمليات القلب المفتوح وضحايا حوادث السير والحرائق
وغيرهم. ويعدّ هذا النشاط واحداً من البرامج والمبادرات المتعددة التي تنفذها
الشركة على مدار العام والتي تعكس دورها في تعزيز المسؤوليات الإجتماعية والمدنية،
الأمر الذي يترك أثراً إيجابياً على المجتمع والبيئة ككل. وعلاوةً على ذلك، تعزز
مبادرات الشركة في مجال المسؤولية الإجتماعية رؤيتها في لعب دور فاعل في المجتمع
من خلال توفير حياة صحيّة وآمنة لأفراده.

دبي للصحة لمساعدتنا في تنظيمه، ونشجع بقوة الناس على التبرع بالدم لصالح الأنشطة
الخيرية في دولة الإمارات، على اعتبار أن هذه اللفتات تعني الكثير لمن هم بحاجتها.
وإستطاعت هذه المبادرة أن تجمع 58 وحدة دم من الدم ليتم إستخدامها في مركز دبي للتبرع
بالدم. وتأتي هذه المبادرة، كبقية أنشطتنا في مجال
المسؤولية الإجتماعية، لتؤكد مجدداً على إلتزامنا بتقديم الدعم المستمر للمجتمع
المحلي في دبي ودولة الإمارات كافة.
