Dubai, United Arab Emirates – October 29, 2014 – (ME NewsWire) Kingsmen, a leading communication design and production group, has set a new record in the exhibition industry history of the Middle East and GCC region for the design and production of the largest exhibition pavilion for Dubai Smart Government during their participation at this year’s edition of GITEX Technology Week 2014, the ICT business gateway to the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia region, which took place from October 12 to October 16, 2014 at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).
The pavilion, which measures 3,800 sqm, includes 37 Dubai government entities and its latest offerings of smart solutions and app services.
According to Kingsmen senior executives, this is one of the region’s largest exhibition pavilions that was built and constructed by a team of 180 workers over five working days. During its off-site construction process, the team had to conduct several lab and configuration tests to customize a device that was designed to mirror wired smart phone connections to LED screens. A total of 22 kilometers worth of data cables were strategically positioned within the pavilion, ensuring wired connectivity for all participating agencies. In addition, to reduce the Dubai Smart Government’s carbon footprint on the environment, the Kingsmen team used recycled materials for journey props and VOC-Free ink for all printed graphics utilized for displays.

لحكومة دبي الذكية خلال مشاركتها في دورة هذا العام من "أسبوع جيتكس للتقنية
2014"، الذي يعدّ بوابة قطاع أعمال تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات في مناطق
الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا وجنوب آسيا، وانعقدت فعالياته خلال الفترة ما بين 12-16
أكتوبر 2014 في مركز دبي التجاري العالمي "دي دبليو تي سي".
وتضمن
الجناح الذي بلغت مساحته 3800 متراً مربعاً، نحو 37 مؤسسة من حكومة دبي وآخر ما
توصلت إليه المؤسسات من حلول ذكية وتطبيقات للخدمات.
وبحسب
المسؤولين التنفيذيين رفيعي المستوى في
"كنغسمين" فإن هذا الجناح هو أحد أكبر أجنحة المعارض في المنطقة، وتم
بناؤه من قبل فريق يضم 180 عاملاً خلال خمسة أيام عمل. واضطر فريق العمل، خلال
عملية البناء خارج الموقع، إلى القيام بعدة تجارب وإعدادات مخبرية، لتخصيص جهاز
معد لنقل اتصالات الهواتف الذكية الموصولة سلكياً إلى شاشات عرض بتقنية الصمامات
الثنائية الباعثة للضوء "إل إي دي". وتم تركيب كابلات بيانات بطول 22
كيلومتر بطريقة استراتيجية ضمن الجناح، لضمان التواصلية السلكية لجميع الوكالات
المشاركة. وإضافة إلى ذلك وبهدف تخفيض بصمة حكومة دبي الكربونية على البيئة، قام
فريق "كنغسمين" باستخدام مواد معاد تدويرها لدعائم الجناح والحبر الخالي
من المواد العضوية المتطايرة لجميع الرسومات المطبوعة المستخدمة في العرض.

سمية خليفة بن حماد، مدير إدارة الاتصال وتطـــوير الأعمال في حكومة دبي الذكية:
