Cairo, Egypt. September 28th 2014. As
part of the World Economic Forum took place in Tianjin, China, H.E. Mr. Ashraf
Salman – Minister of Investment had a meeting with Mr. Ding Yun – President of Products
and Solutions of Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd, where Minister Salman
praised remarkable tracked efforts of Huawei Egypt and its strongly believe in Egyptian telecommunication industry aiming at continuously
providing the latest technology solutions and contributing to the society.
During the meeting, H.E. Mr. Salman and Mr. Ding discussed Huawei’s future plans during the coming period and Huawei’s business updates in the Egyptian market.
Mr. Ding Yun confirmed Egyptian
government support to the investors reflected in simplifying the investment
procedures, high-efficient and pragmatic attitude, and also the Egyptian economy is rising in steady steps recently which bring Huawei
Global management team more confidence about investing and operating in Egypt.
Mr. Salman stated Huawei's role in the R&D field in ICT sector through several centers located at
India, Russia Europe
and USA in addition to one of the global largest center located in China, so as to availing
Huawei more opportunities to contribute within the Egyptian ICT industry. It is worth mentioning that Huawei deployed the Middle-east and Africa COE (Center of
Excellence) focusing on BSS (Business support system) software R&D sector in Cairo, which has
more than 100 engineers.
Global Huawei considers Egypt as a regional center for their customers, where the main headquarters in
North Africa was set-up in Egypt serving 22 countries side
by side with the regional Network Operation Center (NOC) in order to support
the stability and security of customer’s networks and commercial activities.

يبحث مع مسئولي هواوى العالمية فرص الاستثمار في ظل مناخ اقتصادى متصاعد النمو

2014. علي هامش المنتدى الاقتصادي العالمي الذى أقيم فى تيانجين – الصين، التقى السيد
الأستاذ/ أشرف سالمان وزير الاستثمار مع السيد/ دينج ين رئيس قطاع الحلول
التكنولوجية والأجهزة بشركة هواوي العالمية وقد أشاد معالي الوزير بجهود شركة هواوي
وإيمانها بقوة قطاع الاتصالات في مصر ورغبتها المتواصلة في تقديم كل ما هو جديد في
مجال تكنولوجيا المعلومات وأيضا في مجال المسئولية المجتمعية.
وخلال
الاجتماع، تم التباحث حول الخطط المستقبلية لشركة هواوى خلال الفترة المقبلة كما
تم بحث عدد من الأمور المتعلقة بممارسة أعمال الشركة داخل السوق المصري.
هذا
ومن جانبه أكد السيد /دينج ين على تقديم الحكومة المصرية لبرنامج متكامل لحماية وتشجيع
الاستثمارات الجادة وتهيئة المناخ لجذب المزيد من الاستثمارات إلى مصر، وكذا
الإشارة إلى النمو المتصاعد المستقر للاقتصاد
المصري في الآونة الأخيرة، مما يجعل شركة هواوى تكنولوجيز العالمية أكثر ثقة ورغبة
في استمرار عملها وزيادة استثماراتها في مصر.
وقد نوه الوزير إلى الدور الذي تضطلع به شركة هواوي في
مجالات البحث والتطوير في عدد من الدول ومنها الهند وروسيا والولايات المتحدة
الأمريكية بالإضافة إلى الصين والتي يوجد بها واحد من أكبر مراكز بحث وتطوير الحلول
التكنولوجية على مستوى العالم، وقد أشار
سيادته إلى دور شركة هواوى في المساهمة تنمية قطاع الاتصالات المصري. ومن الجدير
بالذكر، قامت شركة هواوى بأفتتاح "مركز الخبرة" فى الشرق الأوسط
وأفريقيا بالقاهرة، والذى يعتمد على برامج "نظام مساعدة الأعمال" من خلال 100 مهندس متفرغ.
تعتبر شركة هواوي العالمية مصر مركزا إقليميا لها في
المنطقة لخدمة عملائها، حيث أنشأت المقر الرئيسي لها بشمال أفريقيا في مصر، وهو
يخدم نحو 22 بلدا في المنطقة، وذلك جنبا إلى جنب مع مركز تشغيل الشبكة الإقليمية (NOC)، وذلك بهدف دعم استقرار وأمن شبكات العملاء والأنشطة التجارية.
بالإضافة إلى إنشاء مركز المساعدة الفنية الإقليمي (TAC) الذي يلبي جميع طلبات عملاء الشركة. كما أنشأت الشركة مركزها
الإقليمي (GSRC)
لدعم المشاريع الرئيسية في جميع أنحاء المنطقة. وتعمل شركة هواوي العالمية في
السوق المصري منذ 15 عام ووفرت خلالها التدريب المتميز إلى ما يقرب من 5000 متدرب
متخصص.
This is in addition to establish the regional
Technical Assistance Center (TAC) to answer the needs of its customers, as well
as the Global Resource Service Center (GSRC) to support main projects in the
region. Huawei has been in Egypt for 15 years during which it has provided
distinguished training to around 5000 specialized trainees through its Regional
Training Center (RTC).
