Recognizing academic excellence motivates students
to continue towards the path to distinction - Minister Al Hammadi
[UAE, July 10,
2014] - The UAE Ministry of
Education honored yesterday (Thursday, July 10, 2014) the top students in the
12th grade for the academic year 2013 – 2-14. The ceremony was held
under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice
President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. During the event, H.E. Hussain
Bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Minister of Education, handed out Certificates of
Appreciation accompanied with the token award from Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid
Al Maktoum to students who excelled academically this school year.
The ceremony, which took place at Grand
Hyatt Hotel in Dubai, was attended by leaders from the Ministry of Education,
school districts and parents of the awardees. His Highness handed the 52
student beneficiaries a hundred thousand dirham’s along with laptops for each
one.
Speaking at the occasion, the Minister
Al Hammadi stated, “The awards and honors received by these students from our
wise leadership is aimed at enhancing the status of education and the
development process of our country’s academic agenda—which affirms the
country’s continued interest and mission in developing the education segment.
Today’s ceremony demonstrates the ministry’s commitment to support top academic
performers and to further motivate them towards the path to distinction.”
Minister Al Hammadi further pointed out
that the Ministry and its employees are proud of the academic excellence
achieved by this year’s batch of honorees. In fact, H.H. Sheikh Khalifa Bin
Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President, also honored the top students earlier this week
by awarding them with distinctive medals that are meant to inspire the students
to drive for more success and to continue with the pursuit of excellence in
their lives and for their future.
Minister Al Hammadi also pointed out
that H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum expressed his continued support
for this platform, which has now become an ultimate goal for students who
perform excellently in their academic studies—enjoying the special attention
given to them, while at the same time affirming their support for Sheikh
Mohammed’s vision.
H.E. Marwan Al Sawalih, Undersecretary
of the Ministry of Education, said: “As we honor today’s 12th grade top
students, we would like to extend our gratitude to the efforts made by the
Ministry’s Administrative and Technical committees; the diligent work rendered
by the Ministry’s specialized departments; the school district’s various
departments and divisions and the parents who have constantly interacted with
their children’s respective schools to help achieve the interests of the
students.”
Al Sawalih added, “Today we are honoring
the top students and in doing so, we are also honoring the future. Our country
deserves the best and we know that it deserves a leading place in the world
map—which is now further reinforced with the continued determination to reach
our goals and objectives and establishing our educational institutions to
become a primary example and role model across the global education community.”
The Ministry of Education followed and
adopted a set of standards and guidelines in the selection of this year’s 12th
grade awardees. These standards were based on class standings and on the high
ratings of scientific and educational levels attained by the students.

التربية والتعليم توزّع مكرمة محمد بن راشد على أوائل الصف الثاني عشر
الحمادي: تكريم المتفوقين يحفز الطلاب والطالبات على
مواصلة طريق التميّز
[الإمارات، 10 يوليو 2014] - برعاية كريمة من صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم نائب رئيس الدولة
رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي "رعاه الله"، كرمت وزارة التربية والتعليم
أمس (الخميس) طلبة الصف الثاني عشر الأوائل للعام الدراسي المنتهي (2013 / 2014)،
وسلم معالي حسين بن إبراهيم الحمادي وزير التربية والتعليم الطلبة المتفوقين
شهادات التقدير مصحوبة بمكرمة صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، التي يتفضل
بها سموه لأبنائه وبناته الطلبة المتفوقين سنوياً.
جاء ذلك خلال حفل كبير شهدته دبي أمس، بحضور قيادات وزارة التربية وعدد
كبير من مسؤولي الوزارة والمناطق التعليمية، وأولياء أمور الطلبة الأوائل. وقام سموّه
بتوزيع المكرمة على مستحقيها، وعددهم 52 طالب وطالبة، والتي إشتملت على جهاز الحاسوب
المحمول بالإضافة الى مائة ألف درهم لكل طالب وطالبة.
وفي تصريح له بهذه المناسبة قال معالي حسين الحمادي، إن المكارم السخية
التي يحظى بها أوائل الطلبة من لدن قيادتنا الحكيمة، تعد تعزيزاً لمكانة التعليم
ومسيرة تطويره في أجندة الدولة، وتأكيداً على إهتمام الإمارات البالغ بالعلم
ورسالته، فضلاً عن كون التكريم نفسه يمثل دعماً مباشراً للطلبة المتفوقين
والمبدعين، وحافزاً مهما لجميع الطلاب والطالبات على مواصلة طريق التميز.
وذكر معاليه أن وزارة التربية وجميع العاملين فيها يزدادون فخراً واعتزازاً
أمام مكرمة صاحب السمو الشيخ خليفة بن زايد آل نهيان رئيس الدولة "حفظه
الله"، التي أمر سموه بها للطلبة الأوائل، ممن تم تكريمهم مطلع الأسبوع
الجاري، لتكون هذه المكرمة المادية والأدبية لهم وساماً، يستلهمون منه أسباب
النجاح ويستمدون منه مقومات التميز، في حياتهم ومستقبلهم.
وتوجه معالي وزير التربية للطلبة وأولياء أمورهم، في تصريحه، مؤكداً أن
صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم نائب رئيس الدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم
دبي "رعاه الله"، تفضل برعايته الكريمة، لهذه المنصة، منصة التتويج،
التي أصبحت وجهة ومبتغى كل متميز ومبدع من طلاب وطالبات الصف الثاني عشر، الذين
يحظون بقدر خاص من اهتمام وفكر ورؤية سموه.
وفي كلمة الوزارة التي استهل بها حفل التكريم، قال سعادة مروان الصوالح
وكيل وزارة التربية: "إننا إذ نحتفي اليوم بأوائل الطلبة، فإنه من الجدير بنا أن نذكر – بكل
تقدير – الجهود الكبيرة التي بذلها أعضاء الهيئات الإدارية والتدريسية والفنية، من
أجل الطلاب والطالبات، وأن نقف بمزيد من الشكر أمام العمل الجاد الدؤوب للإدارات
المركزية المتخصصة في الوزارة، ونخص منها إدارة التقويم والامتحانات، وكذلك إدارات
المناطق التعليمية والمدرسية وجميع من أسهم في توفير بيئة تعليمية جاذبة وأجواء
امتحانيه محفزة لأبنائنا وبناتنا الطلبة. علينا أن نشكر أولياء الأمور الذين
تفاعلوا مع المدرسة، ووثقوا علاقة البيت بإدارتها من أجل تحقيق مصلحة الطالب.
وأكد سعادته قائلاً: "عندما نقف اليوم لتكريم طلبتنا المتميزين فإننا
بذلك نكرم المستقبل، ونستشرف آفاقه التي ستنقل وطننا الغالي إلى مكانة أكثر
تقدماً، وعمقاً، وغنىً، موضحاً أن وطننا
يستحق منّا هذا العناء وأكثر ليتبوأ كما عاهدناه وعهدناه دائماً المكانة
التي يستحق على خارطة العالم الذي بات يتعلم منه العزيمة والإصرار على بلوغ القمم،
وتحقيق المستحيل، لتكتمل الصورة المشرقة والمضيئة لوطن بذل ما بوسعه للارتقاء
والنهوض بمؤسساته التعليمية، وكرس جل إمكاناته لجعل مسألة التعليم على رأس سلم
أولوياته، بما يؤسس لجعل مؤسساتنا التعليمية مثالاً ونموذجاً يحتذى به في مجتمع
التعليم العالمي".
وكانت وزارة التربية قد اعتمدت مجموعة من المعايير والضوابط، في اختيار
الطلبة المكرمين، مستندة في ذلك إلى المراكز الأولى والمستويات العلمية والتعليمية
الرفيعة التي وصلوا إليها مجموعة الطلاب والطالبات، الذين يشكلون قائمة أوائل الصف
الثاني عشر.
