The University participates as an academic partner for Exhibtion that focuses on Best Smart Practises
]UAE, June 18, 2014[ - Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU) has announced its participation as the official academic partner for ‘Smart Living City- Dubai 2014,’ an exhibition organized by Tasweek Real Estate Development and Marketing. The exhibition will be held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and University President, from September 15 to 16 at Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel in Dubai. HBMSU’s participation reflects its commitment to promote creativity and innovation in an environment conducive to entrepreneurs. Its commitment is aligned with the initiatives of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, aimed at turning Dubai into one of the smartest cities in the world in the next three years.
The event will feature government-led smart initiatives and discuss the regulations and joint projects related to global smart cities. It will also showcase advanced technologies, best practices and smart products and services related to key sectors such as tourism, transportation, environment, education, telecommunication and cooperative development, among others. SLC Dubai 2014, which will gather the best recognized experts on smart cities, will revolve around the three main themes of high-level panel discussions. It will also showcase the ‘best in class’ local and international ‘smart’ firms and host multiple workshops on the ‘smart living’ paradigm.
HBMSU will highlight its large portfolio of excellent programs aiming to create a new generation of entrepreneurs and equipping them with world-class skills and knowledge. Based on its extensive experience in the field of smart learning in cooperation with leading international educational institutions, the university is planning to be the first university in the Arab World to successfully create an environment conducive to businesses in smart cities.

أكاديمي في معرض
"الحياة الذكية في المدينة الذكية- دبي 2014" الذي ستنظمه "تسويق للتطوير والتسويق
العقاري" تحت رعاية سمو الشيخ حمدان بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، ولي عهد دبي
والرئيس الأعلى للجامعة يومي 15 و16 سبتمبر/أيلول المقبل في "فندق جميرا أبراج الإمارات" في دبي. وتأتي مشاركة الجامعة في هذا الحدث المرتقب لتؤكّد على إلتزامها
بدعم الجهود الرامية إلى تحفيز الإبداع والإبتكار ضمن بيئة حاضنة لروّاد الأعمال
بما يتماشى مع مسيرة تحوّل دبي إلى نموذج المدينة الذكية تنفيذاَ لمبادرة صاحب
السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، نائب رئيس الدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي،
رعاه الله، في تحويل دبي إلى المدينة الأذكى عالمياً في غضون السنوات الثلاث
المقبلة.
وسيتخلّل الحدث استعراض مبادرات الحكومة الذكية ومناقشة
القوانين والمشاريع التعاونية المتعلّقة بالمدن الذكية للعالم، فضلاً عن الكشف عن أحدث
التقنيات وأفضل الممارسات والمنتجات والخدمات الذكية التي تهم القطاعات الحيويّة مثل
السياحة والنقل والبيئة والتعليم والاتصالات والتنمية التعاونية وغيرها. كما سيجمع
المعرض أفضل الخبراء المعروفين في مجال المدن الذكية ويتمحور حول المواضيع الثلاثة
الرئيسية وهي عقد نقاشات رفيعة المستوى، وتقديم أفضل الشركات المحلية والدولية في
مجال المدن الذكية، وإقامة ورش عمل متعددة حول نموذج الحياة الذكية في المدينة
الذكية.
وبدورها، تعتزم "جامعة حمدان بن محمّد الذكية" خلال الحدث
تسليط الضوء على محفظتها الواسعة من البرامج المميّزة التي تهدف إلى إعداد جيل جديد من روّاد الأعمال وتزويدهم
بالمهارات والمعارف اللازمة. كما تتطلّع الجامعة إلى الاستفادة المثلى من خبرتها
المتراكمة في مجال التعلّم الذكي وتعاونها الدائم مع المؤسّسات التعليمية العالمية الرائدة في هذا المجال، لتكون بوابة لجامعات العالم العربي بإنشاء بيئة حاضنة
للأعمال في المدن الذكية.
وأوضح الدكتور منصور العور، رئيس الجامعة، بأنّ الجامعة تولي أولويةً كبرى لدفع عجلة الجهود الرامية إلى تطوير بيئة
أعمال ذكية وقادرة على تعزيز القدرة التنافسية العالمية لإمارة دبي التي تعتبر
اليوم واحدة من المدن الأكثر جاذبية لروّاد الأعمال في العالم، مؤكداً "أهمية
تشجيع ريادة الأعمال وترسيخ ثقافة الإبتكار والتميّز ضمن مجتمع الأعمال المحلي
والإستثمار في البحث والتطوير والتقنيّات الحديثة لتعزيز حضور دبي والإمارات على
خارطة الإقتصاد العالمي الذكي تماشياً مع توجيهات سيدي صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن
راشد آل مكتوم، نائب رئيس الدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي، رعاه الله."
وأضاف العور: "تسير إمارة دبي بخطى ثابتة نحو
التحوّل إلى اقتصاد ذكي قائم على الإبداع والإبتكار، وهو ما يؤكد أهمية تضافر
الجهود لتوفير المقوّمات الأساسية لتحقيق هذه الغاية، وبالأخص على صعيد تأهيل جيل
قادر على مواكبة التطوّرات التقنية المتسارعة والتحوّلات الإقتصادية المتلاحقة
بالتزامن مع إطلاق مبادرة "دبي مدينة ذكية" والفوز باستضافة معرض
"إكسبو 2020". ونتطلع في "جامعة حمدان بن محمد
الذكية" إلى مواصلة العمل لإثراء المعرفة وترسيخ ثقافة التعلّم الذكي والإبداع
والإبتكار ونشر مفهوم ريادة الأعمال وتشجيع قنوات تبادل أفضل الخبرات مع أبرز
الخبراء الإقليميين والدوليين لدعم جهود بناء بيئة أعمال ذكية تواكب مسيرة الريادة
التي تنتهجها إمارة دبي ودولة الإمارات."
